A BRITISH traitor who fled to Russia to fight for Vladimir Putin has bragged about winning a bravery medal for slaughtering Ukrainians.
Aiden Minnis, 38, says he is now an active "stormtrooper" and plans on getting "many more" awards for "wiping out" Kyiv's fighters.

The former drug addict, from Wiltshire, scurried over the Russia at the launch of its invasion in 2022.
He pledged total allegiance to the Kremlin killing machine - even vowing that he was wiling to die for his new Russian comrades.
Minnis was granted Russian citizenship and handed a passport last year by Putin's cronies, delighted to have a Western trophy.
He gloated in a video: 'I have a Russian passport. I am now Russian.

'I am relieved because now I know I am safe, safe from prosecution in the UK, safe from false and bogus charges just because I want to come and fight for Russia and fight for a just cause."
Minnis, who spent time in jail in the UK for a violent racist attack, claims that he was awarded the Suvoror medal earlier this year - an honour bestowed by the Russian state to ground troops for courage shown "in defence of the Fatherland".
He boasted that he was given the prize for "wiping out numerous khokhols" - a derogatory term for Ukrainians - reports the Mirror.
He added: "I hope I get many more for killing the fascists and eliminating the Nazi scourge.'

It is one of the lies used by the Kremlin to justify its invasion that there is a rising fascist element in Ukraine which must be crushed.
The defector also claims to have joined the Russian motorised rifle regiment in the Kharkov region.
Putin close to pounding Ukraine with 1,000 missiles and drones a DAY
He was previously a "sapper", laying landmines and explosives, but his supposed new role would involve actively storming Ukrainian trenches and positions.
Minnis went on to claim that he had had many near misses in combat with Ukrainian drones and mortar shells, and said he was wounded by shrapnel last year - hospitalising him for months.

But he insists: 'Although it's very hard fighting, it must be done.'
Minnis' family back in Britain disowned him after the treacherous Brit joined Putin's illegal war in Ukraine.
They claim they want "Nothing to do with him".

The former National Front thug previously claimed he is "doing the Lord's work" by joining Moscow's forces and said he is "willing to die" on the frontline.
Minnis said in a video: 'I am starting a new life in Russia. I am now Russian. I am happy to be Russian."
He made clear from the start he expected Putin's army to send him into harm's way on the frontline.

'After my vacation I go to a storm battalion. So things are only going to get tougher for me.
'I know it's dangerous. War is dangerous.'
The UK government has said on Minnis' warped decision: "Reports of British nationals taking part in illegal invasion are shocking and their alleged actions are reprehensible.
'Those who travel from the UK to conflict zones to engage in unlawful activity should expect to be investigated upon their return.'

Minnis is one of two Brits unmasked as traitors caught fighting against Ukraine.
His 'best British friend in the Russian army' is Ben Stimson, who was previously convicted for terrorism after helping pro-Russian separatists.
The 48-year-old from Oldham shared videos online from the frontline brazenly flaunting Russian military gear and gloating: "Yes, yes, I'm back in Russia. I'm back in uniform."

Ex-BBC journalist says covering Bloody Sunday sparked decades-long career
Peter Taylor, 82, from Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire, subsequently dedicated a large portion of his working life to documenting events in Northern Ireland. During the Troubles he interviewed republican and loyalist inmates in a notorious prison which he said had not been accessed before, or in the same way since. He also tracked down and spoke to an MI5 officer who he said was 'central to getting the IRA to commit to peace' in a secret mission. As he was made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE), Mr Taylor told the Princess Royal that his first assignment in Northern Ireland was covering Bloody Sunday for ITV's This Week. On January 30 1972, British soldiers shot dead 13 civil rights protesters on the streets of Londonderry. Speaking to the PA news agency at Windsor Castle on Tuesday, after being honoured for services to journalism and public service broadcasting, he said: 'I remember being shocked at what happened and feeling guilty that I knew nothing, or very little, about the background to the conflict. 'I remember that day thinking I better start trying to find out, so I spent the past 50 years trying to do exactly that.' It took him nearly 10 years of work to get permission to make a documentary inside the high-security Maze Prison housing paramilitaries, which is no longer in operation. It was otherwise known as Long Kesh and was the site of 1981 hunger strikes. People serving sentences for murder 'and a whole series of dreadful atrocities' were inside, Mr Taylor said, adding that he gained their trust to be interviewed. The conversations were conducted without prison officers' oversight, he added. At Windsor Castle, the former BBC journalist told PA: 'In the end, when they saw the film they were glad that they had taken part because it gave a different view of the contribution that they were potentially prepared to make towards peace. 'You know you've succeeded when you get that kind of reaction, when they're clearly expecting to take you to the cleaners for what you've done, and they say 'wasn't bad for a Brit'.' He earned the trust of major figures including former IRA commander Martin McGuinness, whose funeral he attended, and Ian Paisley, previous leader of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), whose memorial he was invited to. The aim was 'to get behind the mask' and that 'required them trusting me, but me trusting them to be as straight as they were prepared to be'. 'They knew I had a job to do, so when I asked really difficult questions – which in most cases they tried to answer, they knew that was part of my job – they didn't take it personally, but they knew what I was trying to do.' Another major scoop was accessing the 'back channel between MI5 and the IRA' leadership. The security service ran a secret mission designed to 'encourage the IRA to stop killing people and engage in the political process', he said. The MI5 officer, unearthed by Mr Taylor and his team, was 'part and parcel' of that process. He 'flatly denied' working for MI5 when Mr Taylor first approached, but the journalist left his calling card and a book he had written titled The Provos: The IRA And Sinn Fein. Around 20 years after Mr Taylor first started working on the story, the officer wrote to him and said he had watched his documentary My Journey Through the Troubles. 'He said, if there are any gaps in your knowledge that you would like to sort out, I'm now prepared to talk to you.' Mr Taylor travelled to interview him on the condition of anonymity. Fewer programmes like Mr Taylor's are now made because of lack of funding, he said, adding that his did not attract 'huge viewing figures'. 'My worry is that public service broadcasting and the climate in which I grew up and learned my trade is under threat,' he told PA. 'It needs finances. What we do, people like me try and do, is to help people understand and make political choices and pass judgments on these extremely difficult, complex issues.' The public's appetite is changing too, he said, adding: 'People just grow weary of bombs, mayhem, murder, bad news.' They are not legally allowed to work but have used shared accounts to dodge checks. Last night PM Sir Keir Starmer said: 'The Sun has rightly put the spotlight on migrants working illegally as food delivery riders. "And we're tackling the problem. If a rider is staying at this accommodation, the companies will know and can close down the rider's account. 'We will do what it takes to uphold the law and to ensure fairness for the British people.' Under the agreement, hot-spots for such riders will be flagged up for raids by to immigration enforcement officers. And delivery companies — who insist that they are already investing heavily in security systems to prevent abuse — will be hauled in again in the coming weeks to give updates on what progress they have made. Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said: 'Illegal working undermines honest business, exploits vulnerable individuals and fuels organised immigration crime. 'By enhancing our data-sharing with delivery companies, we are taking decisive action to close loopholes and increase enforcement.' Last month we revealed how more than 20 cops in body armour swooped on the Thistle City Barbican hotel in central London after our investigation revealed migrants living there were working illegally. Undercover delivery driver investigation But the migrants were allowed to return to their taxpayer-funded rooms after being questioned. Tory Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp said: 'It shouldn't take a Sun investigation to get the Government to finally take action. We've already returned 35,000 people — way up on the year before. We're working with Germany to close a legal loophole there, allowing police to seize small boats being stored and transported in their country. By working with France, we have agreed to a totally unprecedented returns pilot. We're also taking a zero-tolerance approach to the illegal jobs which gangs promise. Meanwhile the Sun can reveal the Thistle City Hotel, one of the capital's biggest asylum accommodation locations, is still being used as a base for illegal riders. When The Sun returned yesterday it appeared nothing had changed — as a steady stream of migrants came and went in full delivery rider gear from a fenced-off area put up to hide them from public view. We previously revealed that owners the Clermont Hotel Group, headed by CEO Gavin Taylor, had raked in £28million in revenue since taking on asylum seekers in November 2021. But at the same time residents of a block of apartments across the road fear the value of their homes has plummeted. One, who moved in 15 years ago, told The Sun: 'It is just constant noise, every day and every night. 'They all work. 'The police are here constantly. 'It's annoying a lot of residents in the block. 'I put my place on the market last year but nothing happened and I ended up taking it off the market because I had a newborn. Staff don't quiz 'kids' SMALL boat migrants who claim to be children are being given the benefit of the doubt by staff. A report by borders inspector David Bolt found that immigration workers show a 'lack of curiosity'. An Iranian with grey hairs and black stubble had his age claim of 17 accepted despite being assessed as 22. AI technology is set to be rolled out in 2026 which can accurately assess a person's age. Last year half of the 'children' were really adults. 'I'm not against people coming here for a better life. 'And obviously asylum seekers need to be somewhere. 'But if the hotel closed it would make the area a lot better. 'I'm sure the people who own the hotel are doing really well, funded by the Home Office while we pay our service charge and our taxes.' And a 27-year-old city finance worker said the problem had 'got a lot worse' since he moved in at the start of the year. He said: 'We went over there to try to get information on how long it would be a migrant hotel. 'We were pretty much kicked out straight away. 'They said they understand the problems but once the residents are on the street, they have no control.' The owner of a coffee shop said customers were staying away and his business had been broken into three times. He added: 'I pay £8,000 every three months in taxes and business rates. 'If the hotel closed down I am sure business would improve.'

Phillips, of Harlow, Essex — who claimed his aim was to 'expose' a Russian agent — was convicted of assisting a foreign intelligence service at Winchester crown court. Jocelyn Ledward KC, prosecuting, told the court that it is possible Shapps will provide a victim impact statement which would be read out at Phillips's sentencing. Phillips shook his head just before being led down to the cells, and appeared to mouth the words 'can't believe it'. He will be sentenced later.
