Brad Pitts Legal Encounter With Angelina Jolie Gets Intense As He Looks For Private Messages Related To Winery Sale
According to court documents filed on June 30 and obtained by PEOPLE, the 61-year-old actor requested records and a deposition from Alexey Oliynik, an employee of the Stoli Group. Pitt believes Oliynik has key information about Jolie's 2021 sale of her stake in the winery to Stoli's wine division, Tenute del Mondo.
The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star claims that Jolie made the sale without his consent, violating a past agreement that neither of them would sell their share without the other's approval. In February 2022, he sued Jolie, while Jolie responded in September 2022 with a countersuit, accusing Pitt of "waging a vindictive war" against her since their separation in 2016.
As per PEOPLE, in Pitt's new document filed in the Superior Court of California, Oliynik has refused to provide documents or sit for questioning, stating that he cannot be forced to do so since he resides in Switzerland. Pitt's team argues these records are important to prove that Jolie "acted with malice" by selling her share to a buyer Pitt had long opposed.
Jolie's legal team has previously claimed Pitt would only buy her out if she signed a non-disclosure agreement meant to keep her from speaking about alleged abuse. That includes an incident on a private jet in 2016, where Pitt was reportedly verbally and physically abusive. Authorities investigated but did not press charges, and Jolie did not pursue legal action at the time, PEOPLE reported.
The two, who share six children, finalised their divorce in December 2023, but the legal battle over Chateau Miraval remains unsettled.
In 2024, a judge ordered Jolie to submit eight years' worth of NDAs she issued to others as part of the dispute over the terms Pitt allegedly asked her to agree to.
A source close to Jolie told PEOPLE that she hopes the family can find peace.
According to PEOPLE, a source close to Pitt shared that Jolie's actions have caused "tremendous collateral damage to those in and around the family."

'Im really proud of him': Rebecca De Mornay recalls working with Tom Cruise in Risky Business
Washington DC [US], July 20 (ANI): Actress Rebecca De Mornay shared screen space with Hollywood star Tom Cruise in the 1983 coming-of-age teen comedy film 'Risky Business', written and directed by Paul Brickman. She opened up about her connection with Cruise, whom she dated for two and a half years in the 1980s, according to People. "I'm really proud of him," shared the 65-year-old actress. While discussing De Mornay and Cruise's real-life relationship, the actress previously confirmed that she and the 'Top Gun' star dated briefly after filming the movie. Mornay compared Cruise to a "major chord" while describing herself as a "minor" chord. "He's like, 'I am Top Gun and that's what America really wanted, and so he's fulfilled it," she said, adding, "He is a brilliant, brilliant interpreter of what the zeitgeist is. I'm really, really proud of knowing him from when we were in the suburbs of Chicago filming Risky Business, and knowing what he wanted and where it is now," reported People. "We started this together, and look what he did with it," she added. Cruise began acting in the early 1980s and made his breakthrough with leading roles in Risky Business (1983) and Top Gun (1986). Cruise established himself as a star of science fiction and action films, often performing his own risky stunts. He played fictional agent Ethan Hunt in eight Mission: Impossible films, beginning with Mission: Impossible (1996) and ending with Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning (2025). Rebecca's latest movie, Saint Claire, which also stars Bella Thorne, Ryan Phillippe, and Frank Whaley, is now available in select theatres, according to People. (ANI)

Paranormal investigator dies after Annabelle tour, infamous doll was ‘not in room', says coroner
Paranormal investigator Dan Rivera was found dead in his hotel room in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, just hours after wrapping up a show that featured the so-called haunted Annabelle doll but the doll itself was not in the room, according to the coroner who reached the spot, People reported. Rivera, 54, had taken part in a stop on the 'Devils on the Run' tour at the historic Soldiers National Orphanage on Sunday, July 13. He was discovered unresponsive later that evening by hotel staff. Adams County Coroner Francis Dutrow told that the doll 'was not present when I arrived at the scene,' and confirmed it 'had not been in the hotel room at all.' The Pennsylvania State Police confirmed to reporters that officers were called to the hotel after a man was found dead in his room. 'There was nothing unusual or suspicious observed at the scene,' the police said in a statement on Wednesday, 16 July. Coroner Dutrow added that Rivera had been feeling unwell earlier in the day and told colleagues he was returning to his room. The cause of death is still unknown. Autopsy results are expected in eight to 10 weeks. The missing Annabelle doll, the apparently haunted object at the centre of Rivera's tour, raised immediate questions online. 'The doll wasn't in the room,' said NESPR, the group Rivera worked with, in a statement quoted by The New York Post. 'She is safely secured.' Rivera had been touring with the doll and speaking about its controversial history, often warning audiences about its supposed dangers. Dan Rivera was a lead investigator with the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR), founded in 1952 by famed ghost hunters Ed and Lorraine Warren. He was also a US Army veteran, a father, and a husband. He had worked on several paranormal programmes, including Most Haunted Places on the Travel Channel, and produced Netflix's 28 Days Haunted. In a tribute to Rivera, NESPR said, 'Dan was not only a vital part of our team for over a decade, but also a deeply compassionate, loyal, and dedicated friend. His integrity, creativity, and generosity defined him.' They added, 'Dan's passion for the paranormal was rooted in a genuine desire to educate, help, and connect with others whether through social media, conventions, or investigations with local families seeking peace.' According to NESPR, the Annabelle doll became infamous in 1968 after a student nurse in Connecticut claimed it behaved strangely. A medium later said it was inhabited by the spirit of a child named Annabelle. Ed and Lorraine Warren, however, said the doll was not a harmless ghost but demonically possessed. They locked it in a glass case at their museum in Connecticut, where it remains today. The story helped inspire The Conjuring film series and a spin-off franchise centered on Annabelle. Rivera is survived by his wife and children. His friend Ryan Buell, host of Paranormal State, posted a tribute on Facebook describing Rivera as 'a thoughtful, committed investigator and a devoted family man.' While officials say there is no foul play, the mystery surrounding Rivera's death and the absence of the doll from the scene continues to draw public attention. One person wrote under NESPR's tribute post: 'What happened in that room?'
