My top 5 small kitchen appliances I'd buy again and why you should too
Even better, with Amazon Prime Day just around the corner (July 8-11), many of these gems are already on sale. So, check out the list below and grab these fantastic deals today!
At the top of my list is this highly-rated air fryer. Air fryers are great for cooking so many things in a snap! One of my favorites to make is bacon; it's become my go-to appliance for perfectly crispy strips, all without the usual mess and splatter. It's also perfect for cooking frozen foods like French fries, personal pizzas, corn dogs and so much more.
Next up on my list is the trusty Instant Pot Pressure Cooker Duo. This appliance is a lifesaver for whipping up comforting meals like stews and roast beef dinners. You simply toss in your ingredients, set it and forget it. After a long day, you'll walk into your home greeted by the delicious aroma of a perfectly cooked comfort meal. Plus, with its pressure cooking capability, it can whip up a quick meal in no time, even if you forget to defrost your roast the night before.

This Keurig was gifted to me as a wedding gift and has quickly become my go-to for a quick and easy cup of coffee every single morning. It consistently brews a perfect cup, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that its iced coffee option tastes fantastic too!
After discovering the potential dangers of heating water in the microwave, I immediately began my search for an electric kettle. That's how I found the Chefman Electric Kettle, an affordable gem that boils water in no time! It's constantly in use in my household for making a perfect cup of tea or hot cocoa. As an added bonus, it lights up, looking really sleek on my countertop.

Another wedding gift I absolutely love and frequently enjoy is this Ninja Blender. Before I got it, I had no idea how poorly my previous cheap blender was actually performing when I made smoothies. Using this Ninja Blender has honestly created some of the frothiest and creamiest smoothies I've ever had at home. Plus, it's fantastic for making tomato soup from scratch and whipping up marinades for cooking.
Amazon's members-only Prime Day 2025 sale will run from Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11.

18 Mixed Metal Jewelry Pieces You Can Wear With Anything
Wearing silver and gold jewelry at the same time was once considered a fashion faux pas. But according to the runway and street style alike, the tides have turned: Mixed metal jewelry is one of the biggest accessory trends of the year. Two-tone jewelry is a genius concept, in my humble opinion. The inclusion of multiple metals lets you mix and match with both silver and gold pieces in your existing collection. And while mixed metals aren't exactly a new concept—take a peek inside your grandma's jewelry box for proof—its modern renaissance is a great excuse to layer necklaces, pretty rings, and chunky bangles. Ready to try out the trend? Many of our editors' favorite jewelry brands are one step ahead of you. Shop everything from watchband rings woven with gold and silver accents to vintage-inspired button earrings sporting multiple metals from Jenny Bird, Baublebar, Mejuri, and more below. The secret to a curated earscape? Personality. While a mixed metal earring stack could be as simple as alternating between gold and silver hoops, you can also play around with chunky vintage-inspired button earrings or subtle charms. I'm partial to these dome earrings from Bibi + Kim, but you can't go wrong with the best-selling Baby Knot earrings from Heaven Mayhem or this under-$40 pick from Anthropologie. Rings are one of my favorite ways to play around with personal style, and mixed metal rings even more so. Textured watchband rings (a la this option from NÜR San Francisco) add utilitarian style to your ring stack, while molten-looking gold and silver rings like this pair from Mejuri are the definition of classy. A curated necklace stack is the best way to elevate an outfit—and a mixed metal moment makes that easier to achieve, since you don't have to choose between silver or gold. Some of our favorite takes on the trend include chunky chain necklaces with interlocking metals, like this option from Machete. If you prefer a simpler stack, try a dainty herringbone chain or a simple pendant. From charm bracelets to cuffs, there are plenty of ways to decorate yourself in two-tone jewelry. If you're a fan of the chunky bracelet trend like me, try a chain from Artizan Joyeria (and pop on a few charms for personalization). Or keep your stack sleek and simple with this slender bangle from Missoma. Quick! My favorite Nike running sunglasses are 63% off in a rare early Prime Day deal
It might feel like running sunglasses keep getting bigger and brighter, and it can be hard to find a low-profile design that still gives you proper eye protection. One model that really stands out and features in our best running sunglasses guide is Nike's Victory Elite sunglasses. These Nike running sunnies usually cost $102, but thanks to an early Amazon Prime deal, they're down to just $38 right now. Paying under $50 for a high-performance pair is rare in my experience testing running sunglasses, so I'd act fast if you want to snag a pair before stock runs out. The Victory Elite sunglasses aren't just lightweight. They also have a sleek wraparound design that stays secure and minimizes distractions while you run. If you wear glasses, you can even clip in prescription lenses, which is a big bonus. For me, these are a timeless pair of running sunglasses that will stay in my kit long after trendier designs come and go. Keeping things extra low-key with the Victory Elites, I tested and trained for a marathon wearing the Matte Black colorway. Right now in this Amazon deal it's the Matte Fossil Rose version that's on sale with a huge 63% discount — and I immediately want this colorway. The pinkish tones aren't bright or flashy, so they'll pair well with other colors and running outfits without standing out too much. Prefer sunglasses that adjust to you? The Victory Elite sunglasses have an adjustable nose bridge and flexible temple arms, so you can customize the fit to your face shape. The arms are also wrapped in rubber sleeves to enhance grip and keep them secure, so you can run hands-free without constantly pushing them back up. They're lightweight, stable, and stay put even on long sweaty runs.
