Guardiola, 54, has gone into business with a DOCTOR and a therapist in Barcelona, his home base where he spends time with family during rare stints of time off.
The Etihad gaffer has put his cash and image behind high-performance recovery facility called the Monarka Clinic, which opened its doors last month.
The clinic is located at a prime address in Barcelona, right on the historic Passeig de Gràcia, an avenue that hosts some of Spain's most pricey real estate.
Days after a shock exit from the Club World Cup last-16 to Al-Hilal in June, Guardiola told GQ: 'I'm a big investor in large projects."
The Premier League manager got lapped into the Monarka Clinic through a chance meeting in unfortunate circumstances.
He had been treated by one of the creators Dr Mireia Illueca after suffering from a slipped disc in his back a few years ago.
Guardiola explained: 'I had a back problem and she fixed it, and since then we've gotten to known each other and become very close.
'She told me about the clinic and her project, about the things she wants to do. As I've always believed that sport, health and wellness are all fundamental, she asked me: 'Why don't we work together?'

'And I replied, 'Why not?' And here we are. I'm not going to cure anyone, but I'll keep her company while she does. I've already been doing that for a while.'
Dr Illueca is a neurosurgeon and expert in regenerative medicine and pain management, while co-owner Montse Escobar is a psychologist who specialises in identifying the emotional root causes of physical ailments.

Meanwhile, Guardiola debuted a brand new clean shaven look while visiting to the clinic last month - ditching his usual beard for a striking moustache.
Guardiola thinks the clinic can help both the general public and professional athletes in dealing with physical pain through mental methods.
So people are waiting for me to fail? Yes, yes, I'm sure that's true.

He even half-joked that being City boss has taken years off his life when he said: 'Quite a few, especially if things are going badly.
'As I am now I'm 75 years old! I'm a wreck, everything hurts right now.
'So, if it's my biological age… maybe if I take the test, I'll come out younger. I hope to be better than I am now in a while.

'A friend of mine, who I think defined me very well, once told me that I have three states as a person: euphoric, depressed, and absent. Those are my three states.
"So the point is to try to stay in the middle of these three.'
The Spaniard is desperate to restore City back to the top when the Prem kicks off this month, after a record spell of four league titles in a row ended in failure last season.
While speaking to GQ, he later agreed with the notion that people are "waiting for him to fail" after years of domination.
When quizzed, Guardiola said: "So they're waiting for me to fail? Yes, yes, I'm sure that's true. And I'm delighted to see them too. Delighted.
"That gives you energy. In competition, you need people to say to you: 'Really? We'll see about that.'
"They were the ones who said: 'He won't be able to do it in Germany, he was at Barcelona because of who he knew,' and 'In England, you'll see, English football is different.'
"Well, no. We did it. And then we did it again and again. Do things sometimes go wrong? Of course they do."
City open their Premier League campaign against Wolves at the Etihad on August 16.

Revealed: Huge difference between what Vinicius Junior wants and what Real Madrid are offering as contract standoff continues
Vinicius Junior 's contract saga at Real Madrid has taken another twist — with fresh claims revealing just how far apart the two parties are in negotiations. The Brazilian winger, who turned 25 last month and celebrated with a lavish two-day party in Rio de Janeiro, is said to be demanding more than €25million net per year to extend his stay at the Bernabeu. According to Spanish radio programme El Larguero, broadcast on Cadena SER, that figure has been deemed excessive by Real Madrid, who are reportedly only willing to offer close to €20m net annually — around £335,000 per week before tax. One source close to the player reportedly told El Larguero that accepting the club's current offer would be 'absurd', adding: 'He wants to earn more than €25m net, regardless of what other players earn.' Vinicius is under contract until June 2027 and has publicly stated he wants to remain in Madrid 'for a long time'. But the ongoing standoff means no new talks are currently scheduled. According to Cadena SER, the forward's entourage have now 'parked' the issue and will not re-enter discussions until 2026 at the earliest. Real Madrid's patience may also be wearing thin. While Vinicius has a huge €1billion release clause, the club are reportedly willing to consider offers if his wage demands don't soften — a startling change of tone considering his status as one of the team's most marketable stars. It's a far cry from the optimism Vinicius expressed earlier this year. Back in February, he said: 'It's very exciting to be able to open talks with Real Madrid about my renewal.' He added: 'God willing, the negotiations will be resolved in the coming days and I'll be able to stay here for much longer.' Vinicius has scored 106 goals in 322 games for Madrid since joining the club as an 18-year-old in 2018.

Barcelona reject Chelsea swap offer for Christopher Nkunku
Barcelona rejected Chelsea's offer of a swap deal involving Christopher Nkunku, according to reports in Spain. Chelsea have been open to offers for Nkunku this summer as the French forward has struggled to secure a regular role at Chelsea since his £52 million move from RB Leipzig in 2023. The 27-year-old has attracted plenty of interest with Arsenal and Bayern Munich both making enquiries in the January transfer window, while Manchester United have also considered a move this summer after failing with a loan bid earlier this year. Chelsea have also dropped their asking price for Nkunku from £65 million to £43m. According to Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea have also used Nkunku as a makeweight in their bid to sign Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez. Wake up to find news on your club in your inbox every morning with Metro's Football Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your team in the link we'll send you so we can get football news tailored to you. However, Barcelona turned down the chance to sign Nkunku and opted to sign Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United instead. Fermin has also been linked with a move to United, with reports in Spain claiming that Ruben Amorim's side are ready to pay a €70m (£61m) fee. However, Fermin is intent on staying at Barcelona, while the club's head coach, Hansi Flick, does not want the 22-year-old to leave. More Trending Nkunku, meanwhile, faces an uncertain future and Enzo Maresca did not rule out the prospect of still having the 27-year-old in his squad for the start of the new Premier League season. 'If Christo is here with us, it is because we think he can help us and he can be with us even next season,' Maresca said during the Club World Cup. 'But as you said, there are many speculations, not just about Christo, about many players. 'And then if something is going to happen, I don't know because we said many times when the transfer window is open, anything can happen in terms of players that can arrive or players that can leave.' Venus Williams reflects on harrowing health battle a year on from surgery: 'I was told I could bleed to death'
Venus Williams has opened up on the depths of her recent health struggles, a year on from having surgery to remove fibroids from her uterus. The 45-year-old Williams, who recently confirmed her engagement to her actor boyfriend Andrea Preti, took a 16-month break from tennis due to the issue, returning to the court back in July. Now, for the first time, Williams has revealed just how much her condition was impacting her life away from tennis in a moving Instagram post 12 months on from her operation in New York. 'On this day 1 year ago I was having surgery, an open myomectomy to remove fibroids and a large focal adenomyoma that was imbedded in the muscle of my uterus,' Williams wrote on Instagram. 'What a difference a year makes! I played my first tournament in over 16 months and I am now preparing for the US Open. This post is in celebration of the last day of fibroid awareness month. There can be happy endings!' Williams won her first singles game since March 2024 at the Citi Open in Washington D.C. in July, the latest landmark step on her road to recovery. The 45-year-old took a 16-month break from tennis, before returning to the court back in July She told reporters at the tournament that the difference in her health is 'night and day' from the summer of 2024. But Williams told her 2 million followers on Instagram that she was now opening up her journey to recovery to reassure other women with the same condition. 'I was told I was inoperable,' she wrote. 'I was told I could bleed to death on the table. 'I was told to get a surrogate and forget the hope to carry my own children. I was misdiagnosed. 'I went untreated for years and years and years. It's so important to advocate for your health! I suffered from severe anemia, debilitating pain, excessive bleeding and abnormally frequent menstrual cycles for many years. It affected my tennis and the trajectory of my career.' 'I told my story so other women don't have to go through this and so they can get better sooner. I play tennis now because I can play healthier than ever, it is a dream come true!' It promises to be an emotional return to Queens for Williams later in August at the competition she first won in 2000. Williams confirmed her engagement to her Italian boyfriend Preti on her return to the game in DC, telling the crowd after her win: 'My fiancé is here and he really encouraged me to keep playing. 'There were so many times where I just wanted to coast and kind of chill. Do you know how hard it is to play tennis? You guys don't know how much work goes into this, like it's 9 to 5 except you're running the whole time. 'Lifting weights and just like dying and then you repeat it the next day. So he encouraged me to get through this and it's wonderful to be here. He's never seen me play.' The couple were first linked last summer when they were on vacation on the Amalfi coast. Speculation over their engagement had been rife for months - Williams was seen practicing with a huge ring back in February.
