2 charged, over $20k worth of stolen items found in Waldorf, deputies say
CHARLES COUNTY, Md. () — Charles County deputies said a man and woman were charged after they were accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of fragrances and clothes.
According to the Charles County Sheriff's Office, the pair was connected to a series of retail thefts from a store on Mall Circle in Waldorf
Deputies said that during the thefts, the man and woman entered the store and took nearly $3,000 worth of fragrances. They then returned the same day and stole more items.

Loss prevention told Charles County deputies that they watched the pair place the stolen items in a blue SUV, which was later located near a restaurant.
When deputies arrived at the restaurant, they found both suspects, Robert Lee Pettigrew, 52, of Brandywine, and Zatay Ejasia Owens, 26, of Bowie.
Deputies said Pettigrew tried to run from authorities, but was taken into custody along with Owens.
Following their arrest, detectives obtained a search warrant for Pettigrew's Range Rover and recovered about $20,000 worth of fragrances and clothing, which were believed to have been taken from other thefts.
On May 11, Pettigrew and Owens were released on personal recognizance from the Charles County Detention Center.

A proposed settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit called In re: NCB Management Services, Inc. Data Breach Litigation, Case No. 2:23-cv-01236-KNS (the 'Lawsuit'), which is pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (the 'Court'). The Lawsuit alleges that the unauthorized third-party access to NCB Management Services, Inc. ('NCB') systems identified on or around February 4, 2023 (the 'Data Breach') caused Class Members' Personal Information to be accessed, stolen, or compromised. Who is a Settlement Class Member? The Settlement Class includes all Persons in the United States whose Personal Information was compromised in the Data Breach disclosed by NCB on or about March 24, 2023, including all who were sent notice of the Data Breach. What does the Settlement provide?
