Beloved soap pulled off air in surprise schedule shake-up – but there's another way fans can watch
A BELOVED Aussie soap has been ripped off the air to make way for a sporting broadcast.
Home and Away will not air on Channel 5 from Wednesday until Friday, but keen viewers can still catch this week's episodes on 5Stream or on the network's streaming catch-up service.

The beach-based soap has been replaced this week by the live broadcast of the Snooker World Seniors Championship.
The sports tournament begins on May 7 and runs until May 11, with 16 players competing to take out the big prize.
Some of the sport 's biggest legends are competing at the Crucible with the winner of the iconic event eligible to take home a whopping £20,000.
The surprise schedule shake-up comes just a few weeks after show bosses revealed exciting new opening titles for 2025.
The new titles, which have been refreshed for the first time in 17 years, were unveiled in February in a social media post.
While some fans praised the new look opener, some were concerned it signalled more changes were coming to Home and Away, including a mass cast exodus.
And while some fans have praised the video with one stating: "Great to see H&A's iconic opening titles back,
"I've missed seeing the characters sitting on that amazing beach gazing out to the sea deep in thought!
"Colleen Smart got a mention in a recent episode too. And Marilyn was chatting away on the burger phone in the diner! Love it!"
"I (Soph) have mixed feels. Opening titles need updating when cast members leave to stop them getting out of date.

"Also, Leah/Justin and Mac/Levi have been filmed as couples.
"But other couples (like Remi/Bree) have been filmed separately. To cut them out later??" said one worried fan.
Another added: "It's very possible with 3 year contracts for some about to come to an end."
Back in 2020, the show faced uncertainty due to the Covid pandemic, wage cuts and falling viewing figures.
Channel Five bosses decided to ration Home and Away episodes as television channels struggled with the impact of the pandemic.
Since then however, it seems to have found its feet again especially after Neighbours was axed and then successfully rebooted just a few months later.

A FORMER reality TV star charged with the murder of her partner was acting strangely in the weeks beforehand, locals say. Bizarre videos of Tamika Chesser, known from Beauty and the Geek, have surfaced - as cops search for the missing head of Julian Story, allegedly decapitated by her on June 17 in southern Australia. 5 5 5 Police allege Tamika, 34, murdered and dismembered Julian, 39, on the bathroom floor of his home in Port Lincoln. She then allegedly disposed of the victim's head, carrying it in a bag and dumping it in an unknown location. Tamika was arrested at the scene and charged with murder two days later. Police and emergency services are scouring cliffs and waters off the Eyre Peninsula for the missing head, Daily Mail Australia reports. Bizarre CCTV released by police - along with videos filmed by locals - shows Tamika acting strangely in the weeks leading up to the murder. Footage obtained by Channel 7 shows her at a Port Lincoln hotel wearing a long dark wig and a hat before ripping it off and screaming. Two locals told Daily Mail Australia they'd only ever seen Tamika with a shaved head since she arrived in town months ago. Tamika's sister, Kiya-May, claimed her family is devastated by reports she'd been charged with murder. She told Daily Mail Australia: 'Please report how my sister is in a mental psychosis... This is not her... She would never do these things.' She added her sister had suffered 'a life of trauma and abuse, and now this – it has fried her brain'. Viewers slam 'depressing' and 'boring' new current affairs show 10 News+ as debut episode of hard-hitting series replacing The Project fails to impress: 'Temu ACA'
The new show taking over the slot left behind by the axing of The Project has aired its debut episode. Channel Ten 's 10 News+ had its first outing on Monday night, with what promised to be a 'classy' current affairs series failing short of impressing viewers. The show's hosts, recently poached Seven journalists Denham Hitchcock and Amelia Brace, opened the episode by telling the audience what they can expect from the hard-hitting program 'Firstly, we're not here to here tell you what to think, to scare or depress you' Hitchcock said. 'We will give you facts, information you can trust - the truth' Brace added. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'Of course, we are a daily news program, so you won't miss the stories that matter' Hitchcock went on. 'But we are also digging deeper with investigations and original reporting you won't see anywhere else' Brace said. Not everyone liked what they saw however, with many sharing their thoughts on X. Several compared 10 News+ to A Current Affair with one posting: 'This is like ACA. Hitchcock and Brace had promised to deliver 'trust and truth' and put the 'truth first' in their reporting on the new show, which began airing on Monday, June 30 at 6pm, after the five o'clock news bulletin. Others however were impressed A preview of what the show will have on offer was then related by Brace, including 'a political party torn apart, conflicts causing chaos, bills pushing families to the brink. 'If it affects your life, we will ask the tough questions' the pair promised. The Project was officially axed after 16 years last week, and aired its final episode on June 27. After announcing The Project was ending, Ten then released another statement announcing the news program will be replacing the axed show. 'Network 10 will be introducing a revised early evening program schedule later this month,' a spokesperson said. 'At the core of the changes will be an expansion of Network 10's successful news coverage, with the launch of a new national one-hour 6pm news, current affairs and insights program six days a week to complement 10's one-hour 5pm local news bulletins. 'This reflects the successful growth in audiences to Network 10 local news bulletins and coverage. Our focus continues to be on serving our free-to-air audiences with more of the content they are increasingly watching.'
