The ultra-cheap Lenovo Tab One drops below $100 in this rare sale

Phone Arena3 days ago
Lenovo is having some lovely deals today. Earlier, we shared an epic promo on the gaming-focused Legion Tab Gen 3. But users seeking an ultra-affordable device aren't left out: the Lenovo Tab One is also on sale, and it's available at its lowest price.
$99 99
$129 99 $30 off (23%)
The Lenovo Tab One is back to its best price at the official store. Right now, you can save $30 on the ultra-affordable tablet, allowing you to enjoy everyday entertainment at an even lower price. Get yours and save while this doorbuster sale lasts. Buy at Lenovo That's right! The $129.99 slate can now be yours for just $99.99, $30 off its original price. Sure, that's not a mind-blowing price cut, but it still brings the device to an irresistible price. Even better, this is only the second time the Tab One has dropped this low since launch. So, if you're after a solid everyday tablet that costs under $100, this might just be the one.Featuring a lightweight design and a compact 8.7-inch display, this Android tablet is ideal for on-the-go streaming, browsing, and light use. While it won't knock your socks off with ultra-crisp visuals, its HD resolution is more than decent at this price point. Lenovo also packed in dual speakers, tuned for Dolby Atmos, to give you a surprisingly immersive audio experience. When it comes to performance, you have a decidedly modest MediaTek Helio G85 chip inside. Although low-tier, this SoC should still handle everyday tasks, but you might want to steer clear of heavy multitasking. In terms of battery life, you can expect up to 12.5 hours of nonstop YouTube streaming per charge. The Tab One packs a 5,100mAh battery, which, again, fits its price range nicely.
Then again, this budget tablet has some drawbacks. Arguably the biggest one is the minimal software support promise. The tablet ships with Android 14 and gets only one OS upgrade. This, of course, might not be a dealbreaker, especially if you're looking for reliable daily use and not much else.
Overall, while it can't possibly compete with the best Android tablets, the Tab One is more than adequate for casual use. If you're willing to make some compromises, this ultra-cheap Lenovo tablet should definitely be on your radar. Get yours at the Lenovo Store and save $30 with this rare promo.

iPhone 17 Air's battery leaks and it's ridiculously small

Vlad, 01 August 2025 Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 Air this year alongside the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. The Air will be very thin and is the replacement for the Plus model in the line, which has been the worst selling by far. To accomplish better success, the iPhone 17 Air will be all about radical slimness, but in the service of that it will only have one rear camera like the iPhone 16e. And it's also been rumored to have a tiny battery. Today a new leak brings us some shots that purportedly show its battery in all its glory, here it is. Alleged shots of the iPhone 17 Air's battery The source of these images tells us to expect the iPhone 17 Air's battery capacity to be "around 2,900 mAh", which even for iPhones (that are notoriously more efficient than Android devices) is incredibly small. For comparison's sake, note that the vanilla iPhone 16 has a 3,561 mAh cell, and that's the smallest one of the family. The iPhone 17 Air's battery will be encased in steel. Such technology was first used for the iPhone 16 Pro last year. The steel case is supposed to improve heat dissipation and battery density thanks to its higher structural resistance. The steel case can also very easily be integrated with the L-shaped design of the phone's inner side, fitting its reduced-size logic board perfectly. The entire iPhone 17 lineup is said to come with new battery adhesives that will serve to make replacements easier. The new devices will be unveiled in September, most likely during the week which commences on September 8. Source

Nintendo sold almost 6 million Switch 2 units in less than a month

The Switch 2 continues to be a very successful product for Nintendo. Following over 3.5 million units sold in the first week, Nintendo has now announced that it's sold 5.82 million units by the end of June. That's almost a full month of availability, and the number is more than double what the original Switch managed in its first month on the market - 2.7 million units sold. Nintendo says demand for the Switch 2 is still exceeding supply "in many countries", and regrets the inconvenience this is causing. It's promised to increase production to match demand everywhere. The Switch 2 has become the fastest-selling game console of all time. The Switch 2's success has driven a 132% rise in quarterly revenue for Nintendo in Q2 (April to June), up to $3.8 billion, compared to Q2 2024 (around $1.6 billion). The company is forecasting 15 million Switch 2 units sold by the end of March next year. It remains to be seen how US tariffs may or may not impact that, as the Trump administration has just announced a 20% tariff on imports from Vietnam, where the Switch 2 is manufactured (up from 10% before).
