Sanjay Dutt
is surely one of the most loved actors in Bollywood and all thanks to his on-screen and off-screen charm. As the actor celebrates his birthday today, it seems worth taking a throwback look at an interesting interactions between
Salman Khan
and Sanjay Dutt.
During a nostalgic episode of 'Dus Ka Dum', hosted by Salman Khan, viewers got a glimpse into one of Bollywood's most candid friendships. Salman Khan, joined by guests Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff, recalled the very first time he met Sanju Baba. 'Sanju baba ke saath jo first mulaqat thi wo thi on a flight,' Salman shared, explaining that his entire family was returning from a holiday in London when they happened to be on the same flight as Dutt.
Curiously, he asked Dutt, 'Wahan kya karne gaye the?'—to which Dutt, with his trademark humour, replied, 'Pata nahi, daaru peene gaya tha.' The response left not just the audience but even Jackie Shroff in laughter.
Rehab, long hair, and tight jeans—A snapshot in time
Adding to the moment, Salman offered more context. While his family was coming back from a vacation, Dutt was returning from rehab. 'Toh lambe lambe baal, boots, tight jeans thi,' he said, painting a vivid picture of Dutt's iconic look.

A strong friendsip
Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt's camaraderie has always stood out in an industry known for its highs and lows. They've been each other's constants, offering support, friendship, and sometimes just a well-timed joke. Jackie Shroff, too, chimed in with his own fond memory, recalling a visit to Dutt's home to borrow a music CD and being awestruck by the massive speakers. On the work front, Sanjay Dutt was last seen in 'Housefull 5' and Salman Khan's recent outing was 'Sikandar'.

Jeremy Allen White, Mikey Madison To Team Up For The Social Network Sequel? What We Know

Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White may star in The Social Network II, written by Aaron Sorkin, focusing on Facebook's impact. Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White are reportedly being eyed for the long-rumoured sequel to The Social Network. Insiders close to the film's writer, Aaron Sorkin have told Deadline he has the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star, 26, and The Bear actor, 34, in mind for the leading roles in The Social Network II. However, it's still early days and no formal offers have been made, as the team are still figuring out the budget and fine-tuning the script, per the outlet. The Academy Award winning filmmaker is said to have already written a screenplay for a sequel to his 2010 blockbuster, which starred Jesse Eisenberg as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and told the story of the social media platform's creation. As recently reported by Deadline, Sorkin is set to direct the follow-up, which comes 15 years after David Fincher was at the helm for the original. According to the outlet, sources say the upcoming movie will not be a straight sequel, but instead a 'follow-up to the original movie" which explored the platform's origins. It's said the screenplay delves into the story behind the Wall Street Journal's Facebook Files, which were a series of October 2021 articles by Jeff Horowitz. The pieces sought to expose Facebook's inner workings, and the harms caused by them. The focus won't all be on the suggestion that Facebook played a role in the January 6, 2020 attack on the US Capitol. It will also delve into the impact the site has on teenagers and preteens, as well as violence, and its wider effect on countries around the world. Back in 2021, Sorkin opened up on his plans for a sequel, insisting 'what has been going on with Facebook these last few years is a story very much worth telling." At the time, he suggested a sequel relied on Fincher agreeing to return to helm the follow-up. Last year, he insisted he 'blamed Facebook" for the US Capitol attack, but teased The Town podcast listeners that they would 'need to buy a movie ticket" to find out why. He did reveal that he'd started writing a sequel, and offered a hint about what direction that was taking. He said, 'Facebook has been, among other things, tuning its algorithm to promote the most divisive material possible. Because that is what will increase engagement. That is what will get you to — what they call inside the hallways of Facebook — 'the infinite scroll'… There's supposed to be a constant tension at Facebook between growth and integrity. There isn't. It's just growth." It's not yet known if Eisenberg will return as Zuckerberg. First Published: July 31, 2025, 21:12 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. All new event weapons leaked in Genshin Impact 6.0

Image via: HoYoverse As Genshin Impact nears Version 6.0, leaks have begun to shape player expectations, especially regarding one of the most talked-about updates: weapons. Supposedly, seven new 4-star weapons will be introduced, five of which belong to the Nod-Krai craftable line. Two others, according to data miners, will be unlocked from a quest and from an event respectively. Stat upgrades aside, these additions further cement the deepening ties into elemental gameplay and regional lore. Nod-Krai Craftable Arsenal Typical of a new region, Genshin's Nod-Krai introduces an entire set of forgeable 4-star weapons, including Sword, Polearm, Bow, Catalyst, and Claymore. What stands out, though, is the synergy with Elemental Reactions as well as a unique mechanic called Lunar Phase. The Forge Sword focuses on Energy Recharge and HP scaling for utility to healers or hybrid supports. Triggering an Elemental Reaction grants Max HP to the user, fitting for Nilou or Xianyun in particular. The Forge Polearm is a good choice for DPS units because it includes ATK as a secondary stat and offers a hefty bonus to Electro-Charged and Lunar-Charged damage. Expect this very niche synergy to be quite helpful for Raiden or Cyno. The Forge Bow and Forge Claymore , on the other hand, focus on enhancing Elemental Mastery after a reaction. If Lunar Phase (there might be a new regional or combat buff mechanic) goes over a special threshold, they trigger other effects-they could very well relate to meta changes with rotation dynamics. The Forge Catalyst goes down the Bloom path, raising damage for Bloom and Lunar-Bloom. This is quite the green light for Dendro and Hydro to continue being pivotal for team comps. Together, these weapons would probably cover nearly every elemental system but require players to fine-tune their reaction execution. City Sword : Quest-Based Utility with Tactical Energy Scaling One of the more interesting leaks is that City Sword is supposedly attained via a 6.0 questline. Unlike the craftables, this sword gives Buffs to Elemental Burst Damage tailored depending on the character's Energy threshold. The scaling mechanic is flexible, increasing Burst Damage between 20% up to possibly 48%. Its official name is kept under wraps for now, but the early data suggest that it increases Blood and Lunar-Bloom damage, similar to the craftable variant. Perhaps this could mean that the future events of Nod-Krai will strongly focus on Dendro-Hydro synergy or maybe it would be a nod toward the introduction of a new character who makes the best use of this Catalyst. 6.0 FULL BREAKDOWN! Banners, Reruns, Events, Full Kits, Columbina, New Mode - Genshin Impact Though the weapons may not directly compete with top-notch 5-stars, their passives are complex and rewarding in terms of interactions, both for casual and theory-crafting players. Placing heavy emphasis on Elemental Reactions, Lunar Phase, and Energy scaling sounds almost like a brave step toward adding more layers to combat in the game. For those getting into Nod-Krai, these weapons could possibly be your strongest allies, in battle and in creative endeavors.
