This internship program symbolizes the transformative journey that interns undergo, emerging as confident, skilled individuals ready to enter the workplace. It also empowers interns with future-oriented opportunities and professional guidance, encouraging personal and professional growth, resilience, and practical application of skills, enriching the overall internship experience. Over the past 15 years, stc Bahrain has played a pivotal role in empowering youth by bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world corporate experience. Since 2010, the company has delivered over 80,000 hours of internship and summer training, shaping the skills of Bahrain's future workforce. The interns also participate in a two-day iCAMP workshop conducted by INJAZ Bahrain, where they acquire essential leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.' Bapco Energies Joins Hands with Ministry of Youth to Support "Youth City 2030" Program
The Ministry of Youth Affairs has signed a new partnership with Bapco Energies to support this year's edition of "Youth City 2030", a summer training program aimed at preparing young Bahrainis for the future. The agreement was signed by Youth Minister Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi and Bapco Energies CEO Mark Thomas, in the presence of senior officials from both sides. Minister Tawfiqi said she was proud of this partnership, which reflects the Ministry's efforts to work with private companies to help young people grow and succeed. She highlighted that the program is guided by the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who strongly supports youth development in Bahrain. 'This agreement with Bapco Energies is a big step forward. It will help us offer young Bahrainis the skills and training they need to succeed in the future,' she said. 'We want to give them real opportunities to shine and turn their success stories into an inspiration for others.' Bapco Energies CEO Mark Thomas said supporting youth is one of the company's top priorities.
