'Skytanic'
Soon to be the world's biggest plane, WindRunner, will be able to carry 12-times more than a Boeing 747.
Dubbed "Skytanic", the airliner will take to the skies by 2030, almost a decade after the idea was put forward by aerospace firm Radia.
It will be tasked with transporting enormous cargo.
WindRunner will clock in at an incredible 356ft - longer than the pitch at Wembley - and will be 79ft tall.
'Blended wing' jet
The world's first "blended-wing body" plane, dubbed the Z4, could someday replace older Boeing jets.
The unique design was just backed by United Airlines, which has plans to purchase up to 200 of the swanky new planes.
The 250-passenger Z4 plane, built by JetZero, has not yet been certified - but the company is hoping to launch it by 2030.
Managing director of United Airlines Venture told Business Insider that the Z4's oversized wing could create a "living room in the sky".

Yunxing superplane
A futuristic 'superplane' that could ferry passengers from London to New York City in just 90 minutes is hoped to be in the sky by 2027.
The Chinese company, Space Transportation, behind the project is reportedly inching closer towards the production of the aircraft, called Yunxing.
In October last year, the Beijing-based firm said that it successfully completed the first test flight for the prototype model.
The jet could potentially reach the speed of Mach 4 (3,00mph) - twice as fast as the British Concorde.

It has three luxurious living areas for up to 19 passengers, as well as a dedicated crew compartment for maximum in-flight comfort.

Boom Overture
The supersonic Overture jet is on track for a 2029 launch, according to the company behind the project.
US-based Boom Technology has forecast a market for up to 1,000 supersonic airliners, across 500 viable routes, with fares comparable to business class.
Overture aircraft could feasibly fly passengers from London to New York City in just 3.5 hours at supersonic speeds.
The flight currently takes roughly 8 hours on a standard commercial carrier.
Laying the groundwork for Overture, Boom's XB-1 jet successfully reached supersonic speeds earlier this year.

BEIJING, Aug 5 (Reuters) - China's services activity expanded at its fastest pace in 14 months in July, fuelled by stronger demand, including a rise in new export orders, a private-sector survey showed on Tuesday. The S&P Global China General Services PMI rose to 52.6 in July from 50.6 the previous month, marking the fastest pace since May last year. The 50-mark separates expansion from contraction. The reading contrasted with China's official survey, which showed services activity edging down slightly to 50.0 in July from 50.1 in June. The S&P PMI is considered a better read of trends among smaller, export-oriented firms, particularly along the east coast, while the official PMI primarily tracks large and medium-sized enterprises, including state-owned companies. Meanwhile, the S&P China General Composite PMI dipped to 50.8 in July from 51.3 the previous month. China's economy, the world's second largest, slowed less than expected in the second quarter helped by policy measures and factories leveraging the U.S.-China trade truce to front-load shipments. However, concerns remain about the second half of the year as export momentum weakens, prices decline and consumer confidence remains subdued, partly hurt by a prolonged property market downturn. According to the S&P Global survey, the fastest growth in new business in a year supported the rise in activity heading into the second half of the year. The new export orders sub-index rose for the first time in three months, bolstered by stronger tourism activity and more stable trade conditions. Last week, U.S. and Chinese officials agreed to pursue an extension of their 90-day tariff truce after two days of what both sides called constructive talks in Stockholm. A Cardiff firm has launched an AI-powered platform designed to help steel manufacturers to reduce waste, lower carbon emissions and improve production efficiency. from Nightingale HQ (NHQ), is purpose-built for the reinforcement steel industry and has already worked with manufacturers such as Midland Steel to use digital tools to address practical, day-to-day challenges such as automating data extraction, optimising reinforcing bar (rebar) production planning, and monitoring environmental impact. The firm said the launch comes at a critical time for the industry, aligning with the UK Government's newly announced £725 billion infrastructure investment strategy. The strategy, which emphasises large-scale public infrastructure development, is underpinned by digital innovation and a strong commitment to achieving net zero. In line with the UK strategy, the Wales-made platform can impact the wider UK market by finding waste-cutting opportunities beyond the ability of human effort, helping manufacturers increase revenue and save tonnes of steel from scrap, the firm said. Steph Locke, Head of Product for NHQ, said the new platform would bridge the gap in the sector, helping manufacturers leverage AI to increase competitiveness. Steph said: 'For us as a Wales-based tech scale-up, we're excited about the opportunity to support local steelmakers during this transformative time.
