Moto G06 is coming, here's the price

GSM Arena5 days ago
Motorola's Moto G series has always been quite expansive, but recently it feels like it's grown even more than ever. And it will continue to - according to a new leak, the Moto G06 is coming, even though its predecessor has only been on the market for a few months.
As the name implies, this should be a barebones entry-level model, and today a European retailer listing has revealed its ballpark pricing. According to this, the Moto G06 with 64GB of storage will go for €122.90 in the Eurozone, while if you opt for 256GB of storage it will cost you €169.90.
It's weird that there's no 128GB option, but perhaps that's just an issue with this listing and it will be offered as well. If so, expect its price to fall in between the aforementioned values. All the storage variants come with 4GB of RAM, by the way.
The Moto G06 will be available in three colorways, it seems, based on this particular listing, and their names are Tapestry, Arabesque, and Tendril. These sound like Pantone-certified colors, and that wouldn't be surprising given Motorola's long-standing partnership with Pantone.
Unfortunately, no actual specs for the G06 have been outed right now. For reference, note that the Moto G05 has a 6.67-inch 720x1604 LCD screen with 90 Hz refresh rate, the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme SoC at the helm, a 50 MP rear camera, an 8 MP selfie camera, and a 5,200 mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging. So the G06 should be higher-end than that somehow. We'll let you know when we find out more about it. Motorola Moto G05

The Motorola Razr (2024) remains a solid choice for flip phone enthusiasts at $200 off

Flip phones are great — they fit easily into pockets and are fun to interact with. And when they're on sale, they're even more exciting. If you've been on the fence, now's the perfect time to jump in: Amazon is offering a generous $200 discount on the Motorola Razr (2024). $200 off (29%) Motorola's 2024-released mid-range flip phone, the Razr (2024) still holds its own. With a gorgeous design, great everyday performance, and two beautiful displays, it's a top pick for many. And now, the device sells for $200 off at Amazon, making it even more attractive. Buy at Amazon Sure, this isn't the first time the discount has popped up, but that doesn't make it any less impressive. After all, who wouldn't want to get a ~$700 phone for less than $500? Better yet, Amazon is spreading the price cut across multiple colors, making it even more attractive. But what's so awesome about this Android phone, besides the hefty price cut? Firstly, it features a beautiful 3.6-inch cover screen and a 6.9-inch main display, offering vibrant colors and a great visual experience. Still, since it's a "mid-range foldable", the device supports a 90Hz refresh rate on its cover screen and up to 120Hz on the main panel, so keep that in mind. Performance-wise, the handset delivers a fantastic everyday experience. Apps launch quickly, and day-to-day performance feels snappy. Still, as you can see from our Motorola Razr (2024) review, its MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor doesn't exactly shine on the benchmark tests. The good news is that you get pretty good-looking photos from this fella. It packs a 50MP main sensor, delivering great dynamics and vibrant colors. That said, there's some oversharpening in some settings that may make your photos look a bit less natural. Battery life is another strong point. Thanks to a 4,200mAh battery, it can keep going for over 18 hours of nonstop browsing—or more than 10 hours of continuous streaming. At the end of the day, the 2024 flip phone might not be your primary choice now that the Razr (2025) is here. However, this buddy is going for about $600 right now. So, if you're after a solid flip experience without overspending, now's your chance to save $200 on the Razr (2024) at Amazon. Samsung Galaxy S25 FE will also feature a smaller battery, real image leaked

*Header image is referential and showcases the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. | Image credit — PhoneArena The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 FE will apparently ( translated source ) feature a smaller battery than its predecessor: the Galaxy S24 FE . In addition, the leak has provided a real-world look at the S25 FE and, unsurprisingly, it looks just like the FE model that came before it. This is the Galaxy S25 FE. | Image credit — Setsuna Digital The reduction is battery capacity is supposed to facilitate the other upgrades on the phone. For example, it's thinner than the S24 FE ( 7.4 mm instead of 8 mm ), and it's lighter too ( 190 grams instead of 213 grams ). This is further proof of Apple and Samsung diverging in how they approach their smartphones moving forward. The battery on the Galaxy S25 FE will be 4500 mAh, while the S24 FE had a battery capacity of 4,700 mAh. While a reduction of 200 mAh isn't too bad, it's still a bit disappointing to see. Especially considering that previous reports were saying that the phone will have a 4,900 mAh battery instead. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra kept the same battery as many of its predecessors. | Video credit — Samsung However, I would advise taking this leak with a grain of salt. The thing is, this insider is generally very reputable, and there's another tipster backing up the claim of a smaller battery. However, a recent post which listed all of the Galaxy S25 FE specs claimed to have made a typo, and written down '4,500' instead of '4,900'. I would not be surprised if the typo caught on and people began to spread it around as fact. After the new Galaxy S25 Edge, it's very plausible that Samsung might sacrifice battery life for slimmer phones, but it's equally possible that the exact opposite happens. The S25 Edge will directly take on the upcoming new model by Apple, the iPhone 17 Air. I don't think that Samsung needs to sacrifice battery life on other models, and so I wouldn't pout about the S25 FE just yet. For all we know, this leak may be completely wrong, no matter how reliable the source is.
