Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, is often known for his very serious attitude towards his work, but this perfectionism sometimes becomes a burden on his collaborations . Something similar happened during the film 'Ghulam' released in 1998, when director Mahesh Bhatt left midway. Why Mahesh Bhatt Left Aamir Khan's Ghulam
Famous actor-director Deepak Tijori has made a new revelation in this matter. Aamir Khan got the title of 'Mr. Perfectionist' at the very beginning of his career, but after working in few films with Mahesh Bhatt, many differences came between the two great stalwarts of Cinema. Deepak Tijori himself was a part of the film 'Ghulam'. Recently, in a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, he recalled this incident and explained why Mahesh Bhatt refused to do this film and left the film.
Deepak Tijori told that Mahesh Bhatt was initially directing the film 'Ghulam', but he left the film. Deepak said, 'I came to know that Bhatt sahab has left 'Ghulam', he said, Main nahi kar sakta, main Aamir ko nahi jhel sakta. He said the film was already being made for two years and during this time, Mahesh Bhatt decided to back out. After this, director Vikram Bhatt took charge and completed the film after 2 years, i.e., the film took 4 years to be made.' What Mahesh Bhatt Said On Aamir Khan?
Earlier, in an old interview with Screen, Mahesh Bhatt himself had told that he told Aamir Khan, 'Films are not so important to me that I can give my whole life to them. If I say so, I would be lying.' In an interview with Radio Nasha, Mahesh Bhatt also said that once Aamir had discussed his hat in 'Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin' for 10 hours .
In another interview shared on the YouTube channel of Wild Films India, Mahesh Bhatt also said, 'Working on Ghulam was not a good experience for me, especially when a person is burdened by his greatness, then that burden is also felt by those working with him. In such a situation, making a film in a limited budget becomes more difficult.' How Many Projects Were Done By Mahesh Bhatt and Aamir Khan?
Before Ghulam, Mahesh Bhatt and Aamir Khan had worked together in 'Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin alongside Pooja Bhatt' and 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke alongside Juhi Chawla', which were successful at the box office .

Amaal Mallik's Father On Son's Breakup Over 'Islamic Background': 'I Know Your Pain'

Last Updated: Amaal Mallik revisits heartbreak over interfaith relationship; father Daboo Malik responds with emotional support on Instagram. Music director and singer Amaal Mallik recently revisited a painful chapter from his past, recalling a breakup in 2019 that ended due to religious differences. The emotional post, shared by SCREEN on Instagram, included reflections on his personal and professional struggles during the time he was working on Kabir Singh. His father, musician Daboo Malik, responded to the post with a message of love and support. He wrote, 'Son … Remember Your Father is always there … I know your pain and I love you to eternity … there can be none like you … ❤️❤️". Also read: Amaal Mallik On Uncle Anu Malik's Sexual Harassment Allegations: 'There Must Be Truth To It' In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Amaal shared a particularly difficult period of his life when he was in a relationship that did not culminate into anything. Their relationship spanned from 2014 to 2019, but Amaal revealed that her parents were never on board — objecting to both his Muslim heritage and his connection to the film industry. He said, 'They didn't want their daughter to be associated with someone from Bollywood. They were Jaats and said, 'You're from an Islamic background.' I was like, there's not even an 'I' of Islam in me." Amaal, whose father is Muslim and mother is a Saraswat Brahmin Hindu, clarified that his family has always believed in spirituality over strict religious dogma. 'We go to Mt Mary when we feel empty. We believe in God but we don't fear God. There's no 'kattar' anything in us. In fact, their problem was more with the industry than religion." What stung more, however, was the prejudice. 'To be judged based on my surname or the fact that I'm part of Bollywood — I knew then that these were not my kind of people. I need broad-minded people. I don't think our relationship would have worked in the long run." Amaal Mallik recently sparked a wave of reactions online after sharing that he had emotionally stepped away from his family. Aamir Khan's 'Sitaare Zameen Par' Screens At Worlds Highest Altitude Theatre in Ladakh for Autistic Children

A special show of Sitaare Zameen Par was held on Saturday evening at the mobile digital company Picturetime's Ladakh cinema hall for children with autism and their parents read more Two months after Aamir Khan raised concern over Indian films not being able to reach every corner of the country, his latest comedy drama Sitaare Zameen Par has achieved a wonderful milestone— of being screened at the worlds highest altitude theatre at 11,562 ft in Ladakh. A special show of Sitaare Zameen Par was held on Saturday evening at the mobile digital company Picturetime's Ladakh cinema hall for children with autism and their parents. In attendance at the scenic mobile cinema hall were seven children, 18 parents and four staff members of Dr Daichin's Hopeful Steps Clinic, which organized the screening. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD The reaction, as expected, was overwhelming as the children laughed going on an adventure with Aamir and the kids on screen, while the parents shared an emotional moment watching the RS Prasanna directorial thrill them in the hills, where big screen entertainment isn't easily accessible. 'During the Waves Summit, Aamir Khan had spoken about the deep emotional power of cinema and how it must be accessible to every Indian — regardless of geography or circumstance. At Picturetime, that sentiment always stayed with us. Today, screening Sitaare Zameen Par at the world's highest altitude theatre, for children with autism and their parents, is not just a show — it's a moment of quiet fulfilment for what we believe cinema can and should do,' Sushil Chaudhary, Founder & CEO, Picturetime said. 'We are deeply grateful to Dr. Daichin and Hopeful Steps Clinic for making this happen. To witness these children experience the magic of storytelling, in a space created just for them, is exactly the kind of purpose we envisioned when we built Picturetime,' he added. Backed by Aamir Khan Productions, the film featured the actor as a suspended basketball coach who must serve community service by helping a team of players with disabilities prepare for a tournament. A spiritual sequel to Aamir's beloved 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par, the film has emerged as one of the biggest successes of the year, marking not only the comeback of the superstar but also the comedy-drama genre which was struggling post-pandemic. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Also starring Genelia D'Souza, Sitaare Zameen Par features 10 debutants, including Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.

After Armaan Malik reveals ex-girlfriend broke up because of his ‘Muslim background', father Daboo Malik assures he's ‘always there'

Earlier this year, singer Armaan Malik revealed he's severed ties with his parents — veteran music composer Daboo Malik and Jyoti Malik. Weeks after that, Armaan's elder brother and composer Amaal Mallik also followed suit. He claimed while his bond with Armaan is 'stronger than ever,' he blamed their parents for creating a gap between the two brothers. Now, Daboo has reached out to Armaan on Instagram after the latter opened up on issues he's faced in his love life in the past. He claimed that an ex-girlfriend had dumped him because of his 'Muslim background,' although he maintains 'there is not even I of Islam in me.' She'd even asked Armaan to gatecrash her wedding. Daboo Malik commented on SCREEN's Instagram post detailing these revelations by Armaan. 'Son… Remember your father is always there… I know your pain and I love you to eternity… There can be no one like you…,' he wrote. Armaan is yet to respond to his father's comment. A post shared by SCREEN (@ieentertainment) In March, Amaal Malik had shared on his Instagram handle, 'Today, I stand at a point where I have been robbed of my peace, drained emotionally & maybe financially too but that's the least of my concerns. What really matters is that I am clinically depressed because of these happenings. Yes I have only myself to blame for my actions but my self-worth has been diminished countless times by actions of near and dear ones that stole pieces of my soul.' 'Journey has been terrific for the both of us but the actions of my parents have been the reason we as brothers have gone too far from one another,' he added. Amaal further said he is 'stepping away from these personal ties' and that his interactions with his family will be strictly professional from now on. 'This isn't a decision made in anger, but one born from the necessity to heal and reclaim my life. I refuse to let the past rob me of my future any longer. I am committed to rebuilding my life, piece by piece, with honesty and strength,' he wrote. However, Amaal deleted his post later and asked fans to 'sensationalise & give negative headlines to my vulnerability.' Also Read — Anu Malik 'betrayed' his brother Daboo Malik, 'sabotaged' his career, claims Amaal Mallik: 'He dealt with depression, was too naive to fight back' 'It's taken a lot for me to open up & it is a very tough time for me… I will always love my family but for now, from afar. Nothing changes between us brothers, Armaan and I are one and nothing can come between us,' he added. Amaal Malik was also present at Armaan Malik's wedding as the latter tied the knot with girlfriend Aashna Shroff in April. 'Tu hi mera Ghar (you're my only home) (red heart emoji),' Armaan had captioned the Instagram post in which he shared pictures with his newlywed wife.
