Hi SHERELLE. Who will you be supporting at EURO 2025?
England, obviously!
If you had to choose one of your songs to inspire your team, which one would you pick?
'SPEED' because as soon as it drops, the energy goes up! Also, I would want to annoy the team next-door in their dressing room.
Which player are you most looking forward to watching at EURO 2025?
Jess Carter and Michelle Agyemang! Mainly because as someone who used to play football when I was younger, I gained so much confidence seeing Rachel Yankee and Alex Scott playing. They both seem like future stars so hopefully we see more of them at the tournament.
Who is your favourite all-time women's player?
Speaking of Rachel Yankee, then Alex Scott...they would have to be my two, closely followed by Faye White.
If you were a professional footballer, which position would you play and why?
I would either be a striker or some sort of attacking midfielder. I enjoyed those positions a lot and was quite good at it because I could shoot from long range as well. Also, I am quite fast so that always helps.
Can the Lionesses retain the trophy they won in 2022?
100% I still think they are the best in the world. With Leah Williamson at helm as captain, the drive will be there to retain it and keep it home.
Which nation could be the surprise package of the tournament?
It's not really a surprise at all but Spain and their team have been very good individually, Aitana Bonmatí is now back in the squad so will see how she does after being out for a bit. Germany are ones to watch too.
Who will win Euro 2025?
INGERLAND!
SHERELLE's debut album 'WITH A VENGEANCE' is out now.

Seamer Sanderson extends Northants deal to 2027
Seam bowler Ben Sanderson has extended his contract with Northamptonshire to remain at Wantage Road until the end of the 2027 season. The 36-year-old plays across all formats for the club and has taken 584 wickets in 245 appearances. Advertisement "He's been an outstanding player for Northamptonshire for a long period of time and is so important for us," head coach Darren Lehmann told the club website. "The knowledge that he's able to pass on to the younger players around the dressing room is invaluable." Sanderson began his career at Yorkshire but, after being released, developed his game in National Counties cricket before Northants gave him a second chance as a professional in 2015. He helped Northants win the T20 Blast in 2016 and is currently the leading wicket taker in this season's competition with 21, helping his county top the North Group. Advertisement Altogether, over his career, Sanderson has taken 416 first-class wickets at an average of only 22. "We've got a great group here, everyone's eager to learn and there's a real hunger to succeed among the lads," Sanderson said. "I've loved my time here, it's a great place for me to play my cricket and I'll continue to enjoy it over the next couple of years."

(AP Photo/Scott Heppell) BIRMINGHAM, England (AP) — India cruised to lunch on 419-6 as Shubman Gill and Ravindra Jadeja collected easy runs against England on the second morning of the second test at Edgbaston on Thursday. The captain and Jadeja ate up ideal batting conditions — a flat pitch under sunny skies — in a partnership of 203 runs. Advertisement Gill moved from 114 overnight to 168, his maiden 150-plus score. Jadeja advanced from 41 to 89 when he tried to fend off a Josh Tongue short ball that reared up. Jadeja gloved it to the wicketkeeper about 10 minutes before lunch. That wicket finally exposed India's wobbly tail and bowling allrounder Washington Sundar was with Gill on 1 at lunch. India scored 109 runs in the session in a slow 25 overs. Until Tongue's breakthrough, England didn't look like taking a wicket. The only disturbance to the serenity was very early when England complained to the umpires about Jadeja running on the pitch. Advertisement Jadeja's reply was to cut and drive England captain Ben Stokes for consecutive boundaries. He reached his 50 in 80 balls, his ninth 50-plus score against England. Gill flicked, drove, pulled and punched Brydon Carse for fours, and reverse swept spinner Shoaib Bashir for another. Closer to lunch, both batters hit sixes off Bashir in the same over; Jadeja over long-on to bring up India's 400 total, and Gill a sweep. They were smiling and chuckling in the middle. But the smiles were gone moments later when Jadeja was out after a 173-ball knock including 10 boundaries and a six. Gill has 18 boundaries and the six. ___ AP cricket:

Iconic '90s Rock Band Fooled Fans With 'First' Soundcheck in 15 Years — See Viral Clip
Iconic '90s Rock Band Fooled Fans With 'First' Soundcheck in 15 Years — See Viral Clip originally appeared on Parade. It's been 15 years since this beloved band last took the stage together — and now, they're closer than ever to reuniting. Though Oasis had split in 2009, they recently announced they've put their feud aside and will perform together on Friday, July 4. 'The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised,' the band wrote in their announcement. Kicking off their tour in the Welsh capital, the Gallagher brothers are slated to perform across the UK throughout the summer. As preparations for the show got underway, fans lingered near the venue hoping for a sneak peek of the band rehearsing their set. Videos from the soundcheck quickly went viral across social media, including clips of the band performing their hit track 'Cigarettes and Alcohol.' One fan posted on X, 'Epic! Cannot wait for Friday!!' while another added, 'I know this is just a soundcheck, but the bumps are goosing.' Another user, disappointed at missing out on tickets, wrote, 'I've been chilled about not getting tickets but that is cool as f--k. Shivers.' Oasis soundcheck in Cardiff just now@liamgallagher sounding biblical — Conor Gogarty (@ConorGogarty) June 30, 2025 However, some fans were skeptical the band was actually performing live since Noel's voice was missing from the recordings. 'I believe this audio is from the Definitely Maybe tour rehearsals last year,' one person suggested, while another added, 'This is a pre recording to test sound levels i would assume. Not sure the band are actually there.' Amid the speculation, Liam Gallagher took to X on Monday, June 30 to set the record straight — and it was a bit of a bummer. When asked if he and Noel Gallagher were performing live, Liam replied, 'I've been in my pool all day doing under water farts, so it's defo a recording from rehearsals unless there's 2 of me, which I'm absolutely 1 million per cent here for.' Regardless, excitement remains high for the reunion. Formed in 1991, Oasis had quite a contentious history together. Despite this, the band toured and released new music until their breaking point on August 28, 2009. According to Noel, the brothers had a fistfight before their world tour and started traveling separately to shows. '[Liam] goes out the dressing room, for whatever reason, he went to his own dressing room, and he came back with a guitar, and he started wielding it like an axe, and I'm not f— kidding,' Noel said in 2015 to Far Out Magazine. 'I'm making light of it because it's kind of what I do, but it was a real unnecessary violent act. He nearly took my face off with it.' Following the fight, Noel decided it was time to walk away from the band and his brother. It seems time has healed old wounds, as the brothers have put the past behind them — giving fans 24 chances to see Oasis live again, hopefully without any flying guitars.
