Noel Gallagher lookalike offers VIP engineering support in British Gas 'Sally Can't Wait' campaign
His career may have taken off at supersonic speed - but before that Noel Gallagher worked as a subcontractor for British Gas.
The Oasis superstar, currently on a sold-out comeback tour with brother Liam, even composed some of the band's early hits, including Live Forever, in a company storeroom.
With fans old and new singing along to Don't Look Back in Anger, the energy giant has delivered a playful tribute to its famous former employee - and to one of the song's most iconic lyrics.
Anyone named Sally won't have to wait as the company is offering same day VIP engineer support throughout Oasis' tour dates as part of a campaign inspired by the line 'So, Sally can wait.'
They'll also be in with a chance to win tickets to the Oasis gig at Scottish Gas Murrayfield in Edinburgh, where a Noel Gallagher lookalike has been spotted unveiling a special 'Sally Can't Wait Fast Track Gate'.
A spokesperson for British Gas said: 'Whether it's a broken boiler or getting to the gig on time, we're here when it matters most.
'This is a fun way to spotlight the fast, reliable service we offer - including same-day support for urgent issues - while giving a little love to the Sallys of the UK.
'And with Noel having once worked as a subcontractor himself, it felt only right to get him - or at least his British Gas engineer lookalike – involved.'
If you're not named Sally, you can still get same day service from British Gas for a boiler breakdown if you call before 11am.

Oasis are said to be in "negotiations" to add an extra date to their hugely successful Live '25 tour, which has seen the band perform a string of shows across the UK As the Oasis dates across the UK are coming to an end, there is a possibility that more may be added. Noel and Liam Gallagher have been entertaining fans across Cardiff, Manchester, and now London with their euphoric Oasis Live '25 tour, 16 years after the band split. The tour was announced last year, almost 15 years to the date of their split, and a move that fans never believed would happen due to the tensions between Liam, 52, and Noel, 58. Ever since Noel walked away, the two siblings have hurled insults at one another across social media and in interviews. But now, those days are firmly in the past with the two brothers walking out on stage each night holding hands, as though there had never been any bad blood. Currently, the band has two more shows at Wembley Stadium before heading to Edinburgh and then over to Dublin to kick off the global leg of the tour, before heading back to Wembley in September. It comes after Cruz Beckham 'steals' his dad's tiny white trunks and family have epic response. One place that isn't on the tour dates, though, is Italy. But this could all change in the coming weeks. The Rome City Councillor for Major Events has suggested that there are currently talks to have the band perform in the capital city, Rome. Alessandro Onorato said: "Oasis in the capital? These are live shows for companies that organise events all over the world, and the financial aspect is crucial. Negotiations are underway." He went on to tell Radio Sei that in the past, Rome had missed out on huge opportunities. He explained: "Organising a large event in Rome is very complicated; in the past, Rome has been the 'city of missed opportunities.'" It's not the first time that Onorato has been vocal about wanting Liam and Noel to perform in the capital. According to new figures released by Delaware North, the company behind Wembley Stadium's catering operations, Oasis fans have set a new stadium record by guzzling more than a quarter of a million pints of beer per night during the band's current run of shows. That's not a typo, that's 250,000 pints being poured every evening the Gallagher brothers take the stage in London and put on a show many called 'a spiritual experience.'
