SINGAPORE/BANGKOK -- Falling inflation in several Southeast Asian nations has sparked concern among economists over weakening consumer demand as the region's economies grapple with the fallout from U.S. President Donald Trump's trade tariffs and an influx of cheap Chinese goods.
Thailand's headline consumer price index in June dropped 0.25% from a year earlier, according to official data released Monday, marking the third consecutive month of year-on-year declines following a 0.57% fall in May.
