Harrisburg restaurant relocating due to public safety concerns
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A long-time Italian restaurant in Midtown Harrisburg has closed its doors after operating for 12 years. A local Italian eatery named Pastorante, which is situated at 1012 North 3rd Street in Harrisburg, is owned and operated by Sri Kumarasingam, who first debuted his restaurant back in June of 2013. Close Thanks for signing up! Watch for us in your inbox. Subscribe Now Recently, Pastorante closed its doors, and its last day of operation in Harrisburg was held on Saturday, June 21. According to Kumarasingam, he decided to close the Midtown restaurant due to a variety of reasons that had been building up over the years. Kumarasingam says he has continued to have problems with bar fights breaking out in the area, the frequent smell of marijuana from people outside, and West Shore customers feeling uncomfortable visiting the area. Kumarasingam adds that he and other local business owners had a meeting with the mayor and the police chief about two years ago to address their concerns, but he says that nothing changed as a result. Although Pastorante's presence in Midtown has come to an end, they will soon be reopening inside a new location at 175 South Front Street in Steelton. According to Kumarasingam, the new restaurant location is approximately 2,200 square feet, and is slightly bigger than his Harrisburg restaurant. The new Pastorante in Steelton will boast seating for 26 guests at a time, in addition to outdoor seating during the warmer months. Once open, the new Pastorante's hours of operation will be: Mondays – Thursdays // 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays // 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays // 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Currently, Kumarasingam is hoping for a mid-July opening pending a final inspection. abc27 news will keep you updated as more information becomes available. Tesla Q2 Delivery Estimate Trimmed; TD Cowen Reaffirms Buy Rating
Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) ranks among the best FAANG stocks to buy according to hedge funds. On June 27, TD Cowen maintained its $330 price target and Buy rating on Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA), ahead of the electric vehicle manufacturer's second-quarter delivery report. From its initial prediction of 400,000 vehicles, the firm lowered its Q2 delivery projection to 362,000. While forecasts for Europe were largely the same, the adjustment reflected lower delivery expectations in China and the US, which were somewhat offset by other international markets. Even with the decrease, the updated delivery estimate is still greater than the 337,000 vehicles that Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) shipped in the first quarter of 2025. Based on the lower delivery prediction, the firm also decreased its second-quarter earnings per share estimate from $0.37 to $0.33. That said, TD Cowen stuck to its longer-term earnings forecasts for the company. Based in Austin, Texas, Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA) is a well-known clean energy company that is best known for its electric vehicles (EVs). In addition to designing, producing, and marketing EVs, Tesla also offers solar panels, solar shingles, and energy storage devices. While we acknowledge the potential of TSLA as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk.
