Siddhant Chaturvedi Sings Dhadak 2's Duniya Alag With ‘Yaar' Shreyas Puranik
Sung by Arijit Singh and composed by Shreyas Puranik, Duniya Alag captures a raw truth: facing the world is the toughest challenge a person can encounter, not love.
As the song continues to win hearts, Siddhant recently sat down for a special music session with his 'college friend' and composer Shreyas. In a video shared on Instagram, the two artists are seen jamming on Duniya Alag. The monochrome clip captures the Gully Boy actor on the mic, while Shreyas also lent his vocals and played the guitar.
Siddhant Chaturvedi On Working With Shreyas Puranik:
Sharing the clip, the actor reflected on collaborating with his college buddy in Dhadak 2. He wrote, 'Jab college ke do nikaamme yaar saalon baad ek hi project pe kaam karein, it hits different. I think this is every upcoming artist's dream."
He wrote, 'Shreyas and I attended the same college — two small-town boys balancing KTs while pursuing big-city aspirations. You may know him as Shreyas Puranik, the hit maker behind some of the biggest chartbusters and amazing tunes that will shake your spirit. But I recall him as the boy with fearless assurance, sitting on the canteen bench, curls bouncing, strumming his rustic guitar. A crowd of students gathered around him, hooting, humming, and harmonising. What about today? Sab usi ke dhun pe gaa rahe hai. I love you, brother. This is only the beginning. There's so much more to come."

Reacting to the post, Shreyas commented, 'Bhai, this post made me emotional. From college spaces to film credits, it's been a crazy and amazing adventure. You've always handled your heritage gracefully, and sharing this moment with you means the world. Here's to more music, memories, and dreams shared together. Grateful for you always."
Dhadak 2: Story and Plot:
The film is an official Hindi remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal, and follows the story of Nilesh (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Vidhi (Triptii Dimri), two young lovers navigating the complexities of caste and class prejudice in modern India.

A reminder that what I do matters: Shah Rukh Khan on winning National Film Award
New Delhi, Superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Friday said he was 'overwhelmed with gratitude, pride and humility' after being named best actor at the 71st National Film Awards, his first win at the prestigious film honours in a career spanning over three decades. A reminder that what I do matters: Shah Rukh Khan on winning National Film Award In a video message on Instagram, the 59-year-old actor said the National Film Award serves as a reminder that his work "matters" and encourages him to "keep going, working hard, keep creating and keep serving cinema". Shah Rukh, who shared the award with "12th Fail" actor Vikrant Massey, was rewarded for his performance in filmmaker Atlee's action drama "Jawan" . The movie, which minted over ₹1,100 crore at the worldwide box office, was a high-octane thriller and featured SRK in the dual role of Army officer Vikram Rathore and his jailor son Azad. "I am overwhelmed with gratitude, pride and humility. To be honored with the National Award is a moment that I will cherish for a lifetime," he said in the video message. In the video, the actor's right hand was in a sling following an injury he sustained while shooting for his upcoming film "King". "A national award is not just about achievement. It's a reminder that what I do matters. It tells me to keep going, keep working hard, keep creating and keep serving cinema. "In a world full of noise to be heard, truly heard, is a blessing. And I promise to use this recognition, not as a finish line, but as fuel to continue striving, learning and giving back. This award is a reminder for me that acting is not just work but a responsibility, to show the truth on the screen. I am grateful for all the love," Shah Rukh said. The actor extended his thanks to the award jury, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, and his recent collaborators directors Rajkumar Hirani , Siddharth Anand and especially Atlee. "Thanks to Atlee sir and his team for giving me the opportunity in 'Jawan' and trusting me to deliver and be worthy of this award. Atlee sir, this is like you say 'mass'," he said. Shah Rukh also gave a special mention to his team, acknowledging their patience and hard work. "I want to thank my team and management, which works tirelessly with me. They bear with me, my eccentricities and impatience and give me their full attention and make me look much better than I am... like even now in this video. This award, without their perseverance and love would not be possible at all. Thank you so much for everything you do," he said. Shah Rukh, who made his film debut with 1992's "Deewana", also expressed gratitude to his family. "My wife and kids who, over the last few years, give me so much more love and care as if I'm the kid in the house and want only the best for me. They know my obsession with cinema takes me away from them, but they all bear it with a smile and allow me the time. So thank you very much for that," he added. The actor also thanked his fans and said they will see him on screen soon. "Thank you for all the cheers and all the tears, and really, thank you for pausing your scrolling while watching my award. This award is for you, as each award is and yeah, I would love to spread my arms for you and share my love, but I'm a bit indisposed. But don't worry, just keep the popcorn ready. I'll be back in theaters and soon on the screen. So till then, just with one hand," he said. This article was generated from an automated news agency feed without modifications to text.

Bangladeshi model used fake Indian documents to purchase properties
Kolkata, Aug 1 (PTI) Bangladeshi model and actress Shanta Pal allegedly used fake Indian documents to jointly purchase properties in the southern part of the city along with her live-in partner, a police officer said on Friday. Pal was arrested earlier this week, with fake Indian documents like Aadhaar card, ration card. Police are verifying the details of the property transaction, the officer said. Initial probe revealed that Pal allegedly used fake documents and entered into a 'digital marriage" with the man, hailing from Andhra Pradesh. She arrived in Kolkata in 2023 from Barisal, Bangladesh, using her Bangladeshi passport. 'She brought along her friend and alleged partner, Ashraf, a resident of Andhra Pradesh, who works in the merchant navy. 'The duo rented an apartment in Park Street and later moved to Golf Green, where they began living together. Shanta reportedly kept Ashraf's passport in her possession. With the help of a local agent she allegedly forged multiple Indian identity documents, including ration card, Aadhaar card, voter ID, and PAN card," the officer said. She obtained a fake Aadhaar card, falsely claiming to be a resident of Gopalpur, Barshul in Burdwan, and later procured another under her Golf Green address. 'Using both her and Ashraf's documents, they allegedly purchased properties in Kolkata," police said. Further investigation revealed that Shanta had represented Bangladesh in the Indo-Bangla Beauty Pageant in 2016, and in 2019, she went on to become Miss Asia Global. 'Following her success in modelling, she began her acting career before eventually joining a Bangladeshi airline," he said. Police are cross-checking her professional background as part of the ongoing investigation into alleged identity fraud and property acquisition in India. In the last two years, Shanta acted in Tamil and Bengali films, and even signed an Odia film, the officer said.
