Police issue urgent appeal to find missing 84-year-old not seen since yesterday
Stuart Menzies, 84, was last seen in Broadclyst Gardens on Saturday (August 2) at about 6pm but hasn't been seen since.
He is about 5ft 10in tall and was last seen wearing a maroon long sleeved t-shirt and blue pyjama bottoms.
He may also be travelling with a black Schnauzer dog.
He is travelling on foot and we believe still in the Southend area.
A police spokesman said: "We need to find him as soon as possible to make sure he's okay. "If you have seen Stuart or you are with him, please call 999 with incident number 378 of Sunday August 3."

Stockton police officers find fatally injured man in elevator shaft
An investigation was underway early Tuesday morning in Stockton after a man was found dead in an elevator shaft. Stockton police say officers responded to a downtown building near N. Aurora and E. Man charged after incident aboard boat on Norfolk Broads
Police were called to a boat on the Norfolk Broads after receiving reports of a man shouting abuse. The incident happened in Potter Heigham at around 6.15pm on Sunday. With the help of the coastguard, officers were able to reach the vessel and a man aged in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence. Robert Bindley, 52, of Johnson Place, Norwich, was later charged with using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.
