
Kids' ‘dream holidays' revealed from zoos with every animal in the world to slides from their room into the pool
A poll of 600 6–12-year-olds and their parents revealed what youngsters are really dreaming of doing when they go travelling, with having ice cream for every meal also high on the list.

Others long for magic-themed theme parks, beaches home to every type of fish and sea creature, and visits to a museum – dedicated to their favourite fictional characters.
The study also found 98 per cent of parents let their little ones have at least some input in their holiday planning.
And 82 per cent claimed this makes their trips more fun.
The research was commissioned by Crayola, which partnered with Jet2holidays to launch a competition asking kids to draw what their dream holiday looks like.
A spokesperson said: 'We can finally see how fun it could be if you let the kids plan the whole holiday and unleash the full scope of their imaginations.
'It's also really lovely to know how much parents appreciate their little one's ideas when it comes to choosing where to go and what to do.
'If only all the magical and wonderful things kids can imagine could come true and make their trips even more unforgettable.'
The study also revealed kids' imaginations in this department definitely can't be limited to the realistic – with 51 per cent wishing for a unicorn or a dragon (45 per cent) as their mode of transport on holiday.
While others said a trip to meet dinosaurs (42 per cent) or knights (35 per cent) also wouldn't go amiss.
But with 81 per cent wishing the world was a more magical place in general, 67 per cent claimed that going on holidays does make them feel this way, even if temporarily.
It also emerged 86 per cent of children want a real say in where they go, while 88 per cent would like input into what they do on their holidays.
Although 68 per cent of parents insist their child does get a say in the activities (68 per cent), excursions (48 per cent), and destination (29 per cent) when planning a trip.
With 69 per cent prioritising what their children want to do on holiday more than themselves – 48 per cent of the average trip specifically catered to the whims of little ones.
The research, carried out via OnePoll.com, also found six in 10 in parents said their children's creativity inspires them to be more creative themselves, and 51 percent saying the same about their imagination.
While 59 percent believe everyone could benefit from seeing the world through a child's eyes.
The winner of the competition will get to see their drawing come to life and £1,000 worth of vouchers towards a holiday with the UK's largest tour operator.

Victorian seaside town named WORST for a UK break is turning its fortunes around in '21st-century renaissance'
A VICTORIAN seaside town once described as the worst for a UK short break is undergoing a "21st-century renaissance". In a Which? survey of more than 3,500 people, the South East coastal resort ranked last in a list of the "best small UK cities for a short break". 3 But a recent article in National Geographic praised Hastings for turning round its fortunes – particularly in the past decade. It stated: "Mention Hastings and people still refer to the battle of 1066, which is a shame given the town has changed so much — since the 11th century, certainly, but over the past decade, too. "Like many British seaside resorts, Hastings and its neighbour, St Leonards-on-Sea, had their heyday in the Victorian era before falling into a period of decline. "Their revivals in recent years have been huge and heartening. These are places packed with independent shops, restaurants, pubs and boutique hotels, so many that a week-long visit would hardly even scratch the surface." 3 It added: "Hastings is popular in the spring and summer, when the sunlit sea is turquoise, the seafront rides are in full swing and the entire town heads out for Jack in the Green — a day of folk dancing, parades and merriment held on May Day. "But in the winter, too, it takes on an all-new Zen, when pubs feel even cosier and the sunsets even more sublime." National Geographic also suggests making time for a session at the Samphire Sauna on Hastings Pier for "great sunset views and direct access to the beach below for a dip." The ranking was based on scores taken from feedback from 3,500 people for each location based on a number of categories. This included food and drink, accommodation, and cultural sights. 3 These were then collated to provide an overall average score - which for Hastings came in at just 57 per cent. Hastings received a "food and drink" score of two out of five, an 'accommodation' score of three out of five, and a 'cultural sights' score of three out of five. The town was also rated two for "ease of getting around", two for "value for money", and three for "lack of crowds". Where to eat and drink in Hastings While the original Which? report was critical of the food and drink on offer in Hastings and nearby St Leonard's, the National Geographic heaped praise on the pubs and restaurants in the area, stating they remain one of the main reasons to visit the towns. It said: "The food scene here extends to some excellent options in St Leonards, so leave time for both towns. "In Hastings, you can grab fresh seafood by the fishing huts on The Stade. For a sit-down meal, try the fish and chips at Maggie's, a long-standing cafe with spindle-back chairs and swooping seagull views. "The Crown pub is the spot for a locally brewed pint, while further along the seafront, in St Leonards, you'll find Half Man Half Burger. "The pioneers behind the cool joint took a punt settling in this once rundown town in 2015, but dozens of restaurants have followed. THE Chapel House is beautifully quaint hotel in the town of Penzance and perfectly located to explore the Cornish coast. Read on to find out about the great food options - especially the homemade smoothies. 2 Where is the hotel? In the heart of the historic, market town of Penzance in Cornwall, it is just off the A30. There is free street parking and public parking. However, if you fancy a suite, each has its own parking space. To the town, there is a main railway service from London Paddington and 10 minute taxi from there. What is the hotel like? A stone's throw from Penzance harbour, this red-brick Georgian townhouse has been lovingly transformed into a boutique hotel. Everything is impressive - from the huge hallway and sweeping staircase to the comfortable communal sitting room. What is there to do at the hotel? The hotel has a tiny secret back garden, home to a sauna and hot tub from where you can look out to sea. Just blissful. You can book a Wellness Weekend with your friends if you fancy some downtime. What is there to eat and drink at the hotel? The breakfast/brunch spread is delightful – home-made smoothies, poached egg and samphire, West Cornwall specialities. Although we popped out for dinner at The Old Coastguard in Mousehole where we had great food mainly consisting of fresh fish, the restaurant is worth a try with locally-sourced ingredients and a delicious menu. All six rooms have sea views, and on a clear day, you can see as far as Lizard Point – the in-bedroom bath offered a great view of the harbour, plus the well-placed binoculars on our bedroom's windowsill.
