Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is thrown into chaos as Rebecca Loos gives up on her very first challenge before Louie Spence and Hannah Spearritt QUIT just 30 minutes into opening episode
Series seven of the beloved Channel 4 show kicked off on Sunday night as 14 famous faces were put through their paces.
Chief instructor Billy Billingham and his team Jason Fox, Rudy Reyes and Chris Oliver also returned to our screens to put the celebrities through it.
Celebrities taking part include former glamour model Rebecca Loos, Tasha Ghouri, Harry Clark, Michaella McCollum, Lucy Spraggan and Adam Collard.
For their first extraction challenge, the celebrities were forced to throw themselves into freezing cold water before swimming a checkpoint.
They had an allocated time to reach that point, where they'd be collected by a nearby boat.

However, for model Rebecca Loos, the first challenge already proved too much for her as she gave up midway through.
Rebecca, 48, could be seen swimming towards the checkpoint before stopping dead in the water, remaining to float as the DS' watched on.
Meanwhile, S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt handed in her badge when it came to the Hostage Rescue mission.
As she saw what was ahead of her, Hannah could be heard saying 'I'm sorry'.
She continued: 'I'm done. I'm sorry. I'm done. I've reached a point.'
It came just 30 minutes into the new series, where Hannah had said in her introductory VT how 'wouldn't give up so easily'.
She told the camera: 'I'm pretty determined. I wouldn't say I give up easily. But whether I'll get to the end or not, I don't think I'd go on the first day as I wouldn't forgive myself.'
In a major shock for viewers, Louie Spence also threw in the towel before the end of the first episode.
He had failed the Hostage Rescue challenge after being partnered with Love Island's Chloe Burrows.
After the challenge, he declared: 'I want to do an immediate withdrawal.'
Explaining why he was suddenly quitting the show, Louie added: 'I don't have the conviction. I'm not dedicated enough.'
Last year, John Barrowman quit SAS after just 32 minutes into filming.
He dubbed the 'worst recruit' in the show's history after he told Directing Staff 'I'm done' adding: 'I just... it's not for me, I know who I am and what I'm about, it's not for me' following his arrival on set.
Despite his abrupt exit, Daily Mail revealed how John received a whopping £30,000 appearance fee by bosses.

They do things that they – rational, sensible, grown-up people, people who have kitchen islands and know exactly which day is right for recycling – ever saw themselves doing. Suddenly, they find themselves paying hundreds of pounds to go to NCT classes to make friends with other pregnant people. They attend sessions at the local hospital where they learn how to handle a giant, woolly womb. They listen to hypnobirthing tapes and talk about 'breathing the baby out' or wanting to 'give birth without pain relief'. They even go to gong baths. Then, there are slips into the truly weird – like men who take a shot of their partner's 'natural sweet vanilla milk' (I'm looking at you, Joe Wicks), or Calvin Harris, who caused a bit of a stir this week with his... unorthodox approach to the arrival of his baby boy, Micah, after a home birth in Ibiza. In a photo deemed even too graphic for Instagram (the shot has been slapped with an age restriction by the social media site), the Scottish DJ – who is married to BBC Radio 1 presenter and broadcaster Vick Hope – proudly shows off his wife's placenta and the umbilical cord, positioned in a heart shape. And trust me, you do not want to look at that while eating your breakfast. The other images, in perfect sequence, appear to show the organ being dehydrated in some kind of air fryer contraption and turned into tasty placenta pills. Harris captioned the unusual photo montage with: 'My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom!' To which many have been asking: where was Harris's 'primal wisdom' when posting those shots? Some fans blasted the warts-and-all snapshots as 'unnecessary', while others said simply: 'Placenta pic was not needed bro.' And one commenter wrote: 'Placenta pic is exactly what I needed to remind me to stay single and childless for a few more years.' Snarf. Now, I'm not opposed to lifting the lid on the gory, scary, visceral reality of childbirth – personally, I think it's pretty cool (and important) to show exactly what women go through to bring babies into the world. I find myself eye-rolling when I see images of the royal family, for example, looking pristine on the steps of a posh private hospital after giving birth when I know – we all know – that behind the door of the delivery suite is absolute carnage. There's a lot going on when you give birth, to say the least. There are screams and sweat and tears and swearing and third-degree tears and stitches afterwards and savage, feral declarations that you hate the person who did this to you, that you wish you'd never decided to get pregnant in the first place, that you will never, ever do it again – until you do. There's even mesh underwear. Even those who have elective C-sections don't get away scot-free. There is blood and gore and latex gloves covered in all sorts of fluids; there is fainting and pain from epidurals and (according to friends who have had them) a sensation of 'being pulled apart'. And among the 'natural birthers' who are lucky enough to labour in water, there are sieves handed to husbands and partners to – how shall I put this delicately? – fish out any floaters from the birthing pool. After I gave birth, the placenta dropped out on the floor beneath me and wobbled there, looking menacing – and not a little like a Portuguese man o' war. The only difference between me and Harris is that I didn't take a picture and post it – but after seeing it, believe me there's no way on earth I would have wanted to eat it, even in pill form. Still, I get it. I get the temptation to consume your child, I really do. It's a strange and powerful, atavistic sensation – it's the strange feeling we get when we are in love; when we want to (almost literally) bite or nibble or eat the thing we adore: lovers, children, pets. There's even a term for it: 'cute aggression'. So, it doesn't entirely surprise me that Harris loves his wife and child so much that he wants to devour every single part of them. If you squint (and scroll past the gory shot), it seems quite sweet. Plus, I know for a fact that you're borderline insane after you've brought a child into this world: I buried the stump of my daughter's umbilical cord beneath a rose bush in the garden – at the full moon. I didn't eat her placenta, though. I did not do that. So, why do some do it at all – and do they regret it? Hilary Duff has confessed that she still feels 'repulsed' by the fact that she drank her placenta in a smoothie, shortly after giving birth to her daughter, Banks. 'I saw that thing, it looked gnar,' she said on Whitney Cummings ' podcast Good For You, in 2020. She said that she did it on the guidance of her midwives – and that her sister did the exact same thing (only in pill form, rather than blended with strawberries, berries and bananas). 'They say that it stops your body from haemorrhaging after you have a baby,' Duff said. 'They say that it gives you all kinds of energy and nutrients and [it] helps balance your hormones and stuff like that." She then added: 'And I'm still completely repulsed by it.' Some people – including Harris, presumably – believe that eating the placenta can help prevent postnatal depression (PND) and improve milk supply, or provide important nutrients like iron; whereas others point out that its entire purpose is to filter out waste away from the baby. Mermaid statue be removed after sparking criticism over its breasts
A mermaid statue in Denmark is set to be removed after it was deemed an unrealistic representation of a woman's body. The Danish Agency For Palaces And Culture will reportedly take down the Den Store Havfrue (the Big Mermaid) from Dragor Fort after criticism from locals. Mathias Kryger, a Danish art critic, branded the statue 'ugly and pornographic', while Sorine Gotfredsen, a priest and journalist, statue: 'Erecting a statue of a man's hot dream of what a woman should look like is unlikely to promote many women's acceptance of their own bodies.' Gotfredsen said it was encouraging to know that many people find the statue 'vulgar, unpoetic, and undesirable, because we're suffocating in overbearing bodies in public space'. Peter Bech, the man behind the sculpture, and Torben Bodtker, the Fort's owner, both believe the artwork is not of a pornographic nature. Bech said: 'I hear that many times. It's pure nonsense. The face is big, the upper body is big, the tail is big, and of course the breasts are big. The mermaid has completely normal proportions in relation to her size. Of course the breasts are big on a big woman'. While the statue, which was carved in Beijing, drew sharp criticism from many locals, some backed the artist and Fort owner in their position to keep the statue erected. For Aminata Corr Thrane, a debate editor for a local newspaper, the scrutiny over the mermaid's breasts was equivalent to body shaming. She said: 'Do naked female breasts have to have a specific academic shape and size to be allowed to appear in public?' Bech went on: 'It is placed in its high position to show that women have gained an independent place over time and to show the respect that women have achieved. I think it is well in line with the desire for more statues of women in general.' He said that Dragor Fort 'benefits greatly' from the on-site statue, raking in more stars on Google Maps than the Little Mermaid at Langelinie in Copenhagen. However, the assessment from the Danish Palaces And Culture Agency does not mention anything about the size or appearance of the statue's bust. Instead, the assessment states that the statue 'is not considered to fit into the cultural-historical environment' because it does not align with the cultural heritage of the 1910 Dragor Fort landmark. Since the removal of the sculpture has been in the works, Bech said he offered to donate his artwork to the municipality. This was swiftly declined. Helle Barth, chair of Dragor muncipality's climate, urban and business committee, told a local newspaper: 'It was a really nice offer, but it's hard to fit into Dragor - so we politely declined the offer. But the matter was discussed thoroughly and at length'. Following the announcement of its planned removal, the Fort's owner, Torben Bodtker, said: 'I'm sorry that it has to be removed. There are many people who come out here to see it. I've been very happy to have it standing as an attraction. Very happy. People have shown great interest in it'. Bech said he received an offer from a private sculpture park offering to buy the work. However, he declined, saying: 'It has gradually become part of Dragor's history. So I think it belongs here'. Therefore, Bech is now considering a citizen proposal as a possible way to preserve the statue's place somewhere in Dragor. 'It would be sad if it ended up in a parking lot somewhere. It's so much more than just a garden gnome,' he added.
