What Are the 3 Best Bargain Artificial Intelligence (AI) Stocks to Buy Right Now?

What Are the 3 Best Bargain Artificial Intelligence (AI) Stocks to Buy Right Now?

Key Points
The S&P 500 bounced back from its massive decline during the first four months of 2025.
Nvidia, ASML, and Amazon provide diverse opportunities for gaining AI exposure.
Although they seem richly valued, all three are all trading at discounts to their historical valuations.
10 stocks we like better than Nvidia ›
In April when the S&P 500 sunk about 19%, bargain hunters were having a field day. Today, however, the opportunities to find quality artificial intelligence (AI) stocks hanging on the discount rack may seem fewer and farther between.
But that's not to say that they don't exist.
In fact, today seems like a great time to pick up shares of Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), ASML (NASDAQ: ASML), and Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) while they're sitting in the bargain bin.
Do this before you decide Nvidia isn't a bargain
Trading today at around 52.5 times operating cash flow, Nvidia stock certainly doesn't seem like it's a value opportunity at first glance. Before making this determination, however, you'd be wise to remember that it's often useful to consider a stock's valuation in context of its historical valuation. In doing so, you'd find Nvidia stock's five-year average cash-flow multiple is 55.1, illustrating its less expensive valuation today.
Similarly, shares of Nvidia seem admittedly higher trading at 53 times trailing earnings, but since they have a five-year average P/E ratio of 70.2, shares seem attractively priced right now.
A semiconductor stalwart, investors would be hard pressed to find a company that supports advancement of the AI industry as much as Nvidia thanks to the graphics processing units it designs for data centers, where AI computing occurs. Additionally, Nvidia has ownership stakes in a variety of AI companies that are driving innovation in a variety of fields including generative AI and healthcare.
You might not know the name, but its AI influence is huge
Unsurprisingly, the production of sophisticated semiconductors that companies rely on to drive AI innovation is far from a simple process. That's where ASML comes in. The company provides hardware, software, and services that help facilitate the mass production of microchips found in AI applications. Most notably, the company provides semiconductor makers with extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography systems -- systems that enable the printing of the smallest features on microchips at the highest density. This is an invaluable tool for advanced semiconductor makers such as ASML customers Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing and Intel.
It's hard to overstate the allure of ASML with respect to the vital role it plays in helping chipmakers; it's currently the only company worldwide to manufacture EUV lithography systems.
Like with Nvidia, ASML stock's trailing P/E ratio of 33.7 might not shout "bargain," but considering its five-year trailing earnings multiple of 40.8, the current valuation seems more compelling.
Don't be fooled by Amazon's underperformance so far in 2025
Climbing 2.6% since the start of 2025, Amazon stock has failed to keep pace with the S&P 500, which has risen 6.4% as of this writing. With the lack of uncertainty regarding tariffs and how they will impact the company's retail business, investors have chosen to keep their distance -- unlike 2024 when Amazon stock soared more than 44%.
While the stock's lackluster rise in 2025 may be disheartening for current shareholders, it helps to provide a good entry point for prospective investors. Currently, shares are priced 36.7 times trailing earnings -- a hefty discount to their five-year average P/E of 64.1.
From its cloud platform, Amazon Web Services, which supports its customers develop their own AI resources, to the development of AI tools like the virtual assistant Alexa and Amazon Q, an AI assistant used in workplace settings, the company has broad exposure to the AI industry. Plus, there's the numerous ways that Amazon is leveraging AI in everything it owns, making it even clearer that this AI powerhouse has a great opportunity to flourish in the years ahead.
Bargain shoppers have several choices to quench their thirst for AI stocks
While it's always important to focus on the present and look toward the future, taking a peak at the past can also prove to be pretty helpful -- especially with respect to valuing stocks. At first glance, Nvidia, ASML, and Amazon may all seem to sport rich price tags, but, when taking into account their historical valuations, it becomes much clearer how they are all available at a discount right now.
All three companies provide varying opportunities, but Nvidia is arguably the best choice right now for those seeking the most concentrated exposure to the burgeoning field of AI.

US stocks hold near all-time highs after a better-than-expected update on inflation

NEW YORK (AP) — U.S. stock indexes are hanging near their records following a better-than-expected update on inflation. The S&P 500 was up 0.3% early Wednesday and just a bit below its all-time high set last week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 185 points, or 0.4%, and the Nasdaq composite was adding 0.1% to its own record set the day before. Treasury yields eased in the bond market after a report said inflation at the wholesale level slowed last month by more than expected. Johnson & Johnson rose after beating analysts' sales and profit targets and raising its full-year forecasts for both. THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. AP's earlier story follows below. Early trading on Wall Street was quietly mixed on Wednesday as markets shift their attention toward a deluge of corporate earnings reports while monitoring ever-changing developments on U.S. trade policy. Futures for the S&P 500 were flat before the bell, while futures for the Dow industrials rose 0.2% Nasdaq futures were down 0.2%. Johnson & Johnson rose 1.8% after the drug and medical device giant beat analysts' sales and profit targets and raised its full-year outlook on both. J&J said it expects 'game-changing approvals and submissions' in the second half of 2025 on an array of products in its pipeline. Bank of America ticked up less than 1% after it beat Wall Street's second-quarter profit targets. The bank's net interest income grew for the fourth straight quarter, but came in slightly lower than expectations. Goldman Sachs also beat Wall Street's sales and profit targets on a strong performance from its trading division, which took advantage of market volatility triggered by President Donald Trump's on-again-off-again tariff announcements this spring. Its shares rose about 1% before markets opened. Netherlands-based ASML, the world's leading supplier of chipmaking gear, said in its latest earnings report Wednesday that the impact of Trump's tariffs on its business was less negative than anticipated, but its shares tumbled more than 7% after the company said it couldn't guarantee growth next year. The company makes equipment used in cutting edge semiconductors and one of its key customers is Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., or TSMC, a major supplier for Nvidia. "The level of uncertainty is increasing, mostly due to macroeconomic and geopolitical consideration. And that includes, of course, tariffs,' CEO Christophe Fouquet said. United Airlines posts its most recent quarterly results after the bell Wednesday. Also coming Wednesday is the government's report on producer prices, which measures inflation at the wholesale level. A report on Tuesday showed that consumer inflation in the United States accelerated to 2.7% last month from 2.4% in May. Economists said higher prices for clothes, toys and other imported goods suggest that Trump's stiffer tariffs are fueling inflation. That sticky inflation could mean that the Federal Reserve will hold its ground on interest rates, which have remained elevated in recent years after red-hot demand and supply chain breakdowns in the wake of the pandemic sent prices for just about everything skyrocketing. Wall Street loves lower interest rates because they juice prices higher for stocks and other investments, and Trump himself has been clamoring for the Federal Reserve to cut rates more quickly. But the Fed has been keeping interest rates on hold this year since lower rates can give inflation more fuel while they boost the economy. Fed Chair Jerome Powell has insisted he wants to see more data about how tariffs affect the economy and inflation. Elsewhere, in Europe at midday Germany's DAX rose 0.4%, while Britain's FTSE 100 gained 0.3%. The CAC 40 in Paris was unchanged. In Asian trading, Tokyo's Nikkei 225 edged less than 0.1% lower, to 39,663.40. Investors are focusing on the potential impact of an election for the Upper House of Parliament on Sunday that is expected to lead to tax cuts and higher spending as lawmakers try to restore the waning popularity of the ruling Liberal Democrats. Worries over a deterioration in Japan's fiscal health have pushed yields of long-term Japanese government bonds to their highest levels in years. 'What's at stake isn't simply which party hands out the biggest bundle of goodies. It's whether the walls holding up Japan's house of debt can withstand another round of fiscal fireworks…' Stephen Innes of SPI Asset Management said in a commentary. Elsewhere in Asia, Hong Kong's Hang Seng shed 0.3% to 24,517.76, while the Shanghai Composite index slipped less than 0.1% to 3,503.78. South Korea's Kospi lost 0.9% to 3,186.38 and in Australia, the S&P/ASX 200 declined 0.8% to 8,561.80. Taiwan's Taiex jumped 0.9% and India's Sensex added 0.2%. Thailand's SET dropped 0.3%. In Jakarta, shares rose 0.7% after President Donald Trump said on Truth Social that he plans to charge imports from Indonesia a tariff of 19%, while American goods sent to the Southeast Asian country will face no tariffs. Trump also said Indonesia committed to buying U.S. energy, agricultural products and aircraft. Indonesia's central bank cut its key interest rate by 0.25 percentage points on Wednesday, to 5.25%. 'We have calculated everything and discussed everything. The most important thing for me is my people, as I must protect the interests of our workers," Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto told reporters, adding that "this is our offer, and we are not able to give more (to the U.S.).' In energy trading, U.S. benchmark crude oil shed 79 cents to $65.73 per barrel. Brent crude, the international standard, slipped 67 cents at $68.04 per barrel. The dollar fell to 148.75 Japanese yen from 148.87 yen. The euro was steady at $1.1601.

AITX Surges 57% in Revenue and 80% in Gross Profit for Q1 FY 2026 vs Q1 FY 2025, Closes in on Profitability

Strong Start to FY 2026 with Record Gross Profit and Accelerated High-Value Deployments Detroit, Michigan--(Newsfile Corp. - July 16, 2025) - Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc., (OTCID: AITX) (the "Company"), a global leader in AI-driven security and productivity solutions, today announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026 (Q1 FY 2026), as reported in its 10-Q filing for the period ended May 31, 2025. The results reflect continued strong revenue and gross profit growth, driven by increasing deployments of higher-value units and a growing base of recurring revenue. The Company also reaffirmed its expectation to report net profitability in Q2 FY 2026 and achieve operational positive cash flow near the end of its fiscal third quarter (Sept/Oct/Nov). To view an enhanced version of this graphic, please visit: Financial Highlights Revenue Growth: For the three months ended May 31, 2025, AITX reported revenues of $1,854,837, representing a 57% increase compared to $1,182,800 in the prior year period. Rental Revenue Growth: Revenue from rental activities increased 66% year over year to $1,627,286, driven by continued deployment of higher-value units. Goods and Services Revenue: Revenue from goods and services totaled $227,551 for the quarter, an increase of 11% compared to $202,264 in the same period of the prior year. Gross Profit Growth: Gross profit reached $1,233,501 for the quarter, an increase of 80% compared to $685,334 in the same period of the prior year. Unit Deployments: 76 new devices were deployed during the quarter. While this figure is lower than the prior year's comparable period, deployments in Q1 FY 2026 consisted of higher-value units contributing to the increased rental revenue. Debt Settlement Agreement: The Company negotiated a favorable settlement to eliminate $4.79 million in debt, with a $4.37 million gain expected to be recorded in Q2 FY 2026. This is anticipated to support reporting net profitability for Q2 FY 2026. Operational and Strategic Updates The Company's 66% year-over-year quarter growth in rental revenue was driven by continued deployments of higher-value devices, led by the RIO™ 360 solar-powered security tower. A total of 76 new units were deployed during the quarter, reflecting a strategic shift toward higher per-unit revenue compared to the prior year period. During the quarter, the Company finalized a settlement agreement with a lender to eliminate approximately $4.79 million in debt. The settlement, requiring a total payment of $420,000, of which $200,000 has been paid, is expected to be completed in Q2 FY 2026, ending August 31, 2025. Upon completion, the Company expects to recognize a gain on debt settlement of approximately $4.37 million. This gain will be reflected in the upcoming quarter's financial results and is expected to contribute to reporting net profitability for Q2 FY 2026. The Company reaffirmed its expectation of achieving operational positive cash flow in or shortly after Q3 FY 2026, with Q3 being the period from September through November 2025. This milestone is anticipated as recurring monthly revenue continues to grow and operational efficiencies are realized. "I'm pleased that we are consistently producing improved results. Furthermore, we are making progress reducing debt, and its related interest expense, with more debt reductions beyond the $4.79 million debt we expect to be settled in this current quarter. These are important steps on the way to total profitability. It's thrilling that this current quarter we expect to show an overall net profit but we're laser focused on increased sales so we can achieve the milestone of operational positive cash flow," said Steve Reinharz, CEO, CTO and founder of AITX. "We remain excited for the expected revenue gains from ROAMEO ™ deployments throughout the rest of the year as well." Outlook The Company anticipates continued expansion across its core markets, including healthcare, education, logistics, and critical infrastructure. Management believes that growing demand for its AI-driven autonomous solutions, combined with the favorable debt settlement completed in Q2, positions AITX to enter calendar year 2026 with strong financial momentum, operational stability, and a clear path to consistent positive cash flow.
