Race Across the World star Sioned Cray has shared some honest insight into how she feels about her fellow contestants upon her return to Wales. The popular BBC show came to a tense conclusion last week, with mother-and-son team Caroline and Tom Bridge coming in first place and scooping the £20,000 prize.
Sioned, 20, joined the show alongside her partner, Fin, with the couple being the youngest participants to take part in the hit travel competition. The BBC star confessed 'coming home to Wales was a bit of a shock to the system', while Fin said he 'missed everything about the race', especially the 'suspense of not knowing where you're going to go next'.

The young couple finished in third place.

As the show has come to its gripping conclusion, instead of a nail-biting racing episode, this week's final instalment offered viewers a reunion among the players, with each duo reflecting on their experiences.
For all the competing teams, many parts of the race proved to be difficult and emotionally taxing - and this was no different for Sioned and Fin.
During the reunion episode, Sioned revealed there were times she didn't think she'd be able to carry on. She said: 'I think there were many times in India where I thought, 'I can't do this, I need to go home, not want to but I need to because this is too much'.

'But, I'm really glad I just stuck it out because experiencing it has been really valuable.'
In another update, posted on Instagram, Sioned offered further insight into her thoughts on her Race Across the World experience, as well as behind the scenes insight after reuniting with her fellow contestants
Sioned described them all as being 'bonded for life'.

She shared a carousel of images and penned: 'We had the sweetest reunion! We are genuinely bonded for life and like a little extra family. Who knew Race Across The World would result in SO MANY positives!?
'Not only positives for myself and my own journey, but positives for mine and Fin's relationship, positives in regards to sharing memories with strangers who have ultimately became our best friends and also positives when [it] comes to all of you watching!?'

She then went on to thank viewers for all the 'kind messages' they 'received along the way', as well as the many 'kind words' that have been said to the couple 'in public'.
Sioned branded the response as 'insane' while praising the 'whole process' of taking part in Race Across the World as 'so rewarding and so valuable'.
The 20-year-old highlighted how important it was for her to have potentially helped many people who, like her, 'struggle with confidence' which may have stopped them from 'reaching goals or achieving things you desperately want to'.

Fin was open about his Type 1 diabetes throughout their journey, and the couple were glad to have raised awareness of the condition.
In the comments section, people shared their thoughts. One person declared: 'I love this program but what a great group you clearly are.
'A life changing experience for everyone one of you. You are all winners. The producers of this show really chose well.'

Another added: 'Going to miss watching you guys loved this series'.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom reps break silence on split after nine-year romance

The representatives for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have broken their silence following reports in recent weeks that the pair called it time on their nine-year relationship Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have finally broke their silence after a week of swirling speculation that they have called it quits on their nine-year relationship. The couple have seen ups and downs since they first dated in 2016. They went Instagram official in May 2016 when the musician shared a funny photo of herself and Orlando dressed in bathrobes on the steps of the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cannes, France. ‌ They dated for a little over a year before calling it quits in early 2017, but they soon got back together in 2018 and announced their engagement in 2019 before moving in together that same year. Her ring consists of a ruby in the middle surrounded by eight white diamonds in a floral pattern. ‌ Katy and Orlando then took their relationship to the next level and welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove in August 2020. The pair was last spotted together publicly at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March 2025. And an expert has pinpointed a telling sign that the couple weren't their usual selves even then, as unearthed snaps show a sad signal from Katy - who looks 'almost unrecognisable'. Their reps have now issued a joint statement following rumours fo their split, USMagazine reports. 'Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.' ‌ It comes after Orlando Bloom shared a series of cryptic quotes referring to "darkness" and "loneliness" on July 2. He shared a post by the account @sapienkind which focused on the late Carl Jung, who's considered the founder of analytical psychology. The post included more than a dozen quotes attributed to the psychologist. One quote included in the repost from Orlando was about loneliness. It read: "Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself." Whilst another of those featured in the post focused on love and power. That quote read: "Where love rules, there is no will to power, and where power predominates, love is lacking. The one is the shadow of the other." "Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness," one quote read. Whilst another read: "Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul, be just another human soul."

Love Island star's past racist slurs resurface and fans want her 'off the show'

Just weeks after one Love Island USA cast member was booted off the show for past use of racial slurs, web sleuths have uncovered slurs used by another cast member. Yulissa Escobar, a 27-year-old real estate professional from Miami was booted in just the third day of Season 7, after videos surfaced of her using the N-word in a podcast. After the swift removal of Escobar, many fans are hoping the same will happen with Cierra Ortega, a 25-year-old content creator from Phoenix, who arrived on Day 2. Past Instagram posts have surfaced of her using a racial slur towards Chinese people in two separate instances many years apart. One post from January 2015 showed a snap of her at the top of a mountain, using a version of the slur to describe how she smiles. There was also an Instagram story post from February 2023, showing her getting Botox treatments, again using the slur to describe her smile, and many fans are furious, calling for her immediate removal. One post from January 2015 showed a snap of her at the top of a mountain, using a version of the slur to describe how she smiles. While it remains to be seen if the show's producers will remove her like they removed Escobar, Ortega has already taken a bit hit in regards to her Instagram followers. She has lost over 200K followers in the past 48 hours after the posts first re-surfaced. Ortega was poised to potentially cross the 1 million follower mark at some point during Love Island Season 7, but her follower tally now stands at 709K. While she's currently coupled up with Nic Vansteenberghe as filming continues in Fiji, many are calling for her removal on social media. A new petition calling for her removal was started two days ago, when the Instagram posts first surfaced, which currently has 6,670 verified signatures. One fan - @deannacortes - shared the petition link on X, adding, 'Send Cierra Ortega home,' with the hashtags #racist #LoveIslandUSA #stopasianhate. Another X user - @ShaneAnime1990 - insisted, 'Cierra Ortega used a racist word now we have to cancel her if she did it once she'll do it again.' Cass Rabbit (@cassrabbit) tagged both @LoveIslandUSA and @Peacock in her tweet, which read, 'Get Cierra Ortega off your show. This is now the third time I'm seeing she used the slur for asians. Y'all rightfully kicked off Yulissa for saying the n word, what about Cierra? Or does racism against asians not matter to you guys?' Another X user - @h0td1lfj0hnny - asked, 'Why has cierra not been dropped from the villa,,,, she's f***ing racist using slurs. X user @SSTARZZNE added, 'cierra better be at the BOTTOM of that vote after her racist a** got exposed #LoveIslandUSA.' Mai (@mainpopvirgo) said, 'yulissa said a racial slur (the literal nword) and was kicked out of the show (as she should) bc of the rightful outrage how is this different to cierra saying another racial slur she cannot claim.' Ortega has not yet addressed the controversy personally via her verified Instagram page.
