US begins evacuation flights from 'Israel'

Roya News6 days ago

The US Ambassador to 'Israel' Mike Huckabee announced "Operation Exodus," a series of assisted departure flights and cruise ship evacuations to help American citizens and lawful residents leave 'Israel' as tensions with Iran intensify.
A State Department official said around 70 people were flown from Tel Aviv to Athens, Greece on Saturday on two government-organized flights.
He urged citizens to depart on their own if possible.
The operation comes in response to a week-long conflict marked by 'Israeli' airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and retaliatory missile attacks from Iran, which have closed 'Israeli' airspace and disrupted commercial travel.
"The U.S. embassy in Jerusalem has arranged for masses to leave & our team is working around the clock," Huckabee wrote on X, urging citizens to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) for updates on evacuation options, which include cruise ships, commercial or charter flights, and limited US government-operated flights.
The State Department has placed 'Israel' under a Level 4 "Do Not Travel" advisory, citing risks from armed conflict, terrorism, and civil unrest.

Prince Turki Al-Faisal: In a Fairer World, U.S. Bombers Would Target Israel's Nuclear Arsenal Instead of Iran

A recent opinion piece by Prince Turki Al-Faisal, former head of Saudi intelligence, has sparked widespread reactions on social media after he criticized the latest U.S. strike on Iranian nuclear facilities and drew comparisons to Israel's Dimona nuclear reactor. اضافة اعلان In his article published Thursday in The National, Prince Turki wrote: 'In a world governed by justice, we would have seen American B-2 bombers raining bombs on Dimona and other Israeli sites, because Israel possesses a nuclear arsenal, is not a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), and is not subject to inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).' He added that those who justify Israeli attacks on Iran based on statements by Iranian leaders calling for Israel's demise tend to overlook statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has, since 1996, openly called for the 'overthrow of the Iranian government.' 'Iran's threats have brought ruin upon itself, but the West continues its hypocritical support for Israel—whether in its aggression against Iran or Palestine—despite a recent shift in stance by some countries.' These remarks recall a 2023 interview Prince Turki gave to France 24, where he commented on the possibility of an Israeli strike on Iran, saying: 'Netanyahu doesn't need a pretext. We've been hearing for 15 years about possible Israeli strikes on Iran, but nothing has materialized.' In a related development, Saudi Arabia has expressed 'deep concern' over the latest escalation, issuing an official statement saying it is 'closely monitoring the developments in the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly the U.S. targeting of nuclear facilities.' The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the 'violation of Iranian sovereignty' and called for restraint, de-escalation, and intensified international efforts toward a political solution that ensures regional security and stability. Earlier, on June 13, Saudi Arabia had issued a similar statement strongly condemning Israeli strikes on Iran's nuclear program and the assassination of senior military figures, holding the UN Security Council accountable for halting 'this aggression,' according to the statement. Israeli army issues displacement orders for civilians in central Gaza

Ammon News - The Israeli occupation army continues to forcibly displace thousands of Palestinian civilians from various areas across the Gaza Strip, this time targeting central regions, as part of the ongoing aggression on the region since October 2023, marked by widespread destruction and forced displacement. In the latest move, the Israeli military issued a warning around midnight through social media platforms, ordering residents in numerous neighborhoods across central Gaza — including certain neighborhoods in Nuseirat, Al-Zahra, Al-Mughraqa, to evacuate immediately toward the southern area of Al-Mawasi. The targeted neighborhoods include Al-Sahel Al-Shamali, Al-Nazha, Al-Bawadi, Al-Basma, Al-Zahra, Al-Basateen, Badr, Abu Huraira, Al-Rawda, and Al-Safa, among others. The Israeli military warned civilians not to return to the areas it designated as 'dangerous combat zones,' referring to those now under evacuation orders. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 56,331 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 132,632 others injured. Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
