Digital Turbine (NASDAQ: APPS) stock saw explosive gains after reporting quarterly results earlier this week. The company's share price closed out the week up 23.1% from the previous week's market close.
Before the market opened on Tuesday, Digital Turbine published its results for the fourth quarter of its last fiscal year, which wrapped up on March 31. While the stock saw significant pullbacks later in the week, it still ended the stretch with big gains.
Digital Turbine's fiscal Q4 report arrived with sales and earnings that came in ahead of Wall Street's expectations. The business posted non-GAAP (adjusted) earnings per share of $0.10 on sales of $119.15 million, beating the average analyst estimate's call for adjusted per-share earnings of $0.04 on revenue of $116.64 million. While its adjusted per-share profit was down roughly 16.7% year over year, sales were up by around 6.2%. Investors were happy to see stronger-than-anticipated sales and earnings performance in the period.
In addition to reporting Q4 results that beat Wall Street's targets, the adtech specialist also issued forward guidance that came in better than anticipated. With guidance for sales between $515 million and $525 million this year, Digital Turbine's midpoint target calls for annual revenue growth of roughly 6%.
Meanwhile, the company is targeting adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of between $85 million and $90 million. Hitting the midpoint of that guidance range would mean posting annual growth of 21%.
Digital Turbine's business appears to be stabilizing, and its efforts to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) tools into its services for app promotions appear to be yielding beneficial results. The company's heavy exposure to the Chinese market poses a significant risk factor if geopolitical tensions with the U.S. continue to rise, but the company's cost-cutting moves and strategic shifts have been bearing fruit.

August's Social Security payments are on the way. Here's the full payment schedule for the month. CNET Social Security payments for the month of August are on their way out. With one round down and three more to be sent throughout the month, we'll break down exactly when you can expect to get paid. Social Security benefits are sent monthly to people who've applied for their retirement, survivor or disability benefits. The payments are sent in waves throughout the month. When you receive your Social Security check is determined by how long you've been receiving benefits, whether you receive additional government benefits or the day of the month you were born. This is the Social Security and SSDI payment schedule for August. Social Security payment schedule for August 2025 If you have received Social Security since before May 1997 Aug. 1 If your birthday falls between the 1st and 10th of any given month Aug. 13 If your birthday falls between the 11th and 20th of any given month Aug. 20 If your birthday falls between the 21st and 31st of any given month Aug. 27 How to determine your Social Security payment date Social Security payments are typically paid out starting on the second Wednesday of the month. The remaining two payments will be paid out on the following two Wednesdays of the month. Which week you receive your payment depends on your birthdate. There is one big exception, which we'll cover below. Birthdate between Social Security check date 1st and 10th 2nd Wednesday of the month 11th and 20th 3rd Wednesday of the month 21st and 31st 4th Wednesday of the month Other federal benefits will not be sent the same day If you've received Social Security benefits since before May 1997 or receive Social Security and Supplemental Security Income, your payment schedule isn't determined by your birthdate. Instead, payments are paid out every month on the same date with a couple of exceptions. Social Security payments will be sent out on the third day of each month, while SSI payments are sent out on the first of each month. These dates will sometimes change if the first or the third of the month falls on a weekend or holiday. For example, March 3 of last year fell on a weekend, so Social Security recipients received their March payments two days early, on March 1. The only benefits that are paid on the same schedule are Social Security and Social Security Disability Insurance. Paper Social Security checks are going away An executive order from the White House will end the use of paper Social Security checks on Sept. 30. This means all payments after that date will be sent digitally, including direct deposits, debit and credit cards, digital wallets and other real-time payment systems to reduce the overall cost of sending physical checks to beneficiaries. The decision is not surprising when you consider that only 485,766 Social Security checks are mailed each month, which pales in comparison to the 68,104,184 direct deposit payments made each month. While this will undoubtedly be an adjustment period for those people who have been receiving physical checks, moving mailed benefits payments to digital forms will increase security. It's important to note that some exclusions will be made for certain individuals. A missing Social Security check? Try these steps If your check fails to arrive when it's supposed to or not at all, the Social Security Administration suggests waiting three additional mailing days before contacting it. After that, you can call the national toll-free number: 1-800-772-1213. The SSA notes that "wait times to speak to a representative are typically shorter in the morning, later in the week and later in the month." If you're having trouble reaching the SSA through the national number, you can use its office locator to find a local office. What to Know About, and Where to Find, Apple Intelligence Summaries on Your iPhone
Apple is set to release iOS 26 this fall, and the update will bring a new Liquid Glass design, Games app and more to your iPhone. But when Apple released iOS 18.1 in October, it gave people with the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max or a device from the iPhone 16 lineup access to some Apple Intelligence features, like AI-generated summaries across the device. With Apple Intelligence and a compatible iPhone, your device can provide you with a summary of a lengthy email, a webpage, Message notifications and more. It can also show you a summary of what you have written in Notes and other messages. Here's what you need to know about summaries with Apple Intelligence on your iPhone. Summaries in Mail Parsing through emails and email chains for information can be tedious, especially if you get a lot of work emails sent to your device. Thankfully, Apple Intelligence can summarize emails for you so you aren't reading a lot of preamble and want to just get right to the heart of the message. It was a great show if you were wondering. Apple/Screenshot by CNET To view email summaries, open Mail, choose the email you want to read, and then pull your screen down to reveal a new Summarize button. Tap this and you'll see some lines of summary. You can change how many lines of summary you see by going to Settings > Apps > Mail > Preview and choosing anything from no lines of summary to five. It's also important to note that if you're using Mail Categories, you can only see AI summaries for emails in your Primary category. Emails in other categories won't give you summaries. If you're using List View in Mail all your emails will have a summary available. Read more: What You Need to Know About Mail Categories in iOS 18.2 Notification summaries With Apple Intelligence, some of your apps can give you summaries of notifications on your Lock Screen, and this feature is on by default in most cases. This feature can summarize your notifications in a few words, but be careful while reading these. According to the BBC, one of the publication's headlines was summarized inaccurately. Following the BBC's allegations, Apple temporarily disabled these summaries for notifications from news and entertainment apps. The tech company reintroduced these summaries to those app categories in the iOS 26 beta with a warning about the content of the summaries. Developers and beta testers can see these summaries again in the beta. However, since iOS 26 is still in beta, Apple could alter or disable this feature again when the company releases iOS 26 this fall. If you don't want to risk reading a bad summary now, you can turn this feature off. Go to Settings > Notifications > Summarize Notifications and tap the toggles next to the apps you no longer want to receive notification summaries from. You can also tap the toggle next to Summarize Notifications at the top of the menu to turn the feature off for all apps. To view these summaries, open Safari and go to a webpage, then look on the left side of the address bar. You should see a rectangle with a few dashes beneath it and sparkles. Tap this symbol and it pulls up a menu showing the summary of the webpage. Be aware that this feature isn't available on all webpages. On webpages this feature isn't working yet, the symbol on the left side of the address bar won't have any sparkles. Summarize text with Writing Tools Writing Tools is an Apple Intelligence menu that lets you proofread, edit or alter something you're writing. It also lets you summarize your message or notes. To view these summaries, highlight what you want to summarize, tap Writing Tools in the pop-up menu -- you might have to scroll through the options in this menu -- and then tap Summary. Writing Tools will show you a summary of what you have highlighted, and it will let you Copy, Replace and Share that summary. These summaries could help you prepare for a presentation, let you quickly read over anything in Notes or trim your own messages down to just the key points.
