Gripping sci-fi series with 'preposterous twist' now streaming on Channel 4
We've had Andor season 2, Doctor Who season 15, and a brand spanking new series of Charlie Brooker's twisted brainchild, Black Mirror.
If, though, you've already watched the Rebels rise up, the Doctor save the day and enjoyed Black Mirror's twists and turns, then you might be looking for something new to watch.
Well, if that's the case, you're in luck. Channel 4 has a brand new show you can watch right now, and even better, it's supposedly got a bonkers twist.
The new drama is called BETH, and it follows Joe (Nicholas Pinnock) and Molly (Abbey Lee), a couple who unexpectedly get pregnant after multiple failed IVF attempts.
Needless to say, though, once the miracle child is born, it becomes clear that something is very wrong for reasons we won't go into here – the spoiler police are everywhere .

Written and directed by award-winning filmmaker and photographer Uzo Oleh, the show is already being compared to Black Mirror, although critics are divided on the series.
In their three star review The Guardian's Lucy Mangan praised the show for it's stylish direction and impressive cast but critisised it's pacing, writing 'the script needs to be tighter and work harder so that we aren't left feeling as if we've just watched the beginning of a Black Mirror episode.'
The Independent also gave the show three stars in their review. Much like The Guardian, they felt the premise was a little underbaked and criticised the 'poorly executed', and 'preposterous' twist.
That said, though, they did say it provided 'food for thought' and urged their readers to check it out because, in their words, 'when it's good, it's a little miracle'.
Sadly, Anita Singh from The Telegraph was far less kind. She gave BETH just two out of five stars and wrote that while it looks beautiful that Uzo 'was too hung up on the visuals'.

On X @AndrewOldbury wrote: 'It's great to see Channel 4 breaking new ground by commissioning digital dramas. Beth is a meditative and delicately told story by Uzo Oleh of a couple's attempt to conceive.'
Meanwhile, on YouTube @catharinalara220 added 'Fabulous film. Tense and suspenseful. Wonderful work' a sentiment echoed by @mariamysoul, who added 'Love Nicholas Pinnock's effortless acting, and Uzo Oleh is a talented new director. Wish it had been longer. Hope it becomes a series.'

Channel 4 announces new lifestyle shows including railway series with Si King
The four-part series, which has a working title of Top Of The Stops, will follow King, 58, as he explores the more than 2,600 train stations that make up the UK's railway system, meeting the people that keep the structures operating. Spector, 67, said: 'It's hard for people to make good dietary choices when what they're sold as 'healthy' food, in my view, can hardly be defined as food at all. 'I passionately believe that even quite modest changes to our diet can have a big impact on our health, and I cannot wait to get started on this new series where I'm going to try and change people's lives by changing what they eat.' Elsewhere, design expert George Clarke will offer help to homeowners facing design dilemmas in a new programme titled George Clarke's Kitchen Vs Garden. Clarke, 51, will be joined by garden design expert Luke Millard for the programme, which follows homeowners facing design dilemmas. Clarke said: 'This is a show that will inspire and help viewers to see the space they have in their homes differently. 'I know that the decisions involved in refurbishing them can be overwhelming so I'm excited to lend my expertise to help our renovators, and the viewers at home, to make the most of their spaces and create environments they'll love for years to come.' George Clarke's Kitchen Vs Garden starts on Wednesday August 13 at 8pm on Channel 4. Top Of The Stops will be available to watch on Channel 4 later this year and What Not To Eat will be broadcast in 2026. Ms Green said: 'Together, these new titles demonstrate the strategic ambition of Channel 4 lifestyle's commissioning approach: engaging specialist communities, sparking national conversation, celebrating everyday life, and offering unmissable entertainment. More 'lost' Doctor Who episodes will be found soon, expert predicts
Of the 97 BBC episodes still missing from the early years, there are more yet to be discovered, thanks to private collectors Several more lost episodes of 1960s Doctor Who are probably owned by private collectors and will turn up at some point, an expert has revealed. At present, 97 shows starring the first two Time Lords, William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton, are missing from the BBC archives. The master tapes were believed to have been destroyed in the 1970s when it was thought no one would want to watch the black and white episodes again. But the BBC's first archive selector, Sue Malden, said she believes some copies still exist and has made a plea for their return. Speaking at the Recovered festival in Leicester, hosted by archive recovery project Film is Fabulous!, she added: "As far as Doctor Who goes, we do not have a statement or anything to make at the moment. We do know fairly certainly that there are episodes missing in private collections. Some members of the Film is Fabulous! team are in a considerably significant position to help on that. "So, when the time is right, we really do hope that it will be Film is Fabulous! that manages to return at least one or two, I don't know, of the missing episodes of Doctor Who to the BBC." Only eight episodes of the show were ever repeated during the 1960s, with copies being made for sales overseas. A source said: "There's a lot of grounds for optimism that some episodes could be returned before too long. The films will be donated to De Montfort University in Leicester, and carefully restored." Lost episodes were as earlier returned by collectors Francis Watson, Terry Burnett and Bruce Grenville. Since the early 1980s, a trickle of copies have been sent back to the BBC, with a batch of nine shows starring Troughton being recovered in 2013 after being found in Nigeria. The most likely stories to turn up are: 1 The Tenth Planet, episode 4, October 29, 1966 Final Hartnell show where he defeated the Cybermen for the first time. 2 The Daleks' Master Plan, episode 4, December 4, 1965 The Daleks' Master Plan serial was never shown outside the UK but three episodes of this 12-part epic survive. 3 Marco Polo (broadcast from 22 February - March 4, 1964) Many copies of this were sold around the world. 4 The Web of Fear, episode 3 (broadcast February 17, 1968) Featuring Troughton battling the Yeti on the London Underground, other episodes were returned in 2013. 5 The Macra Terror (broadcast from March 11 - April 1, 1967) Introduced the first set of opening titles to feature Troughton's face. Doctor and friends encounter a race of giant alien crabs.
