'Riveting' new Netflix documentary debuts with perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes score as fans rave 'it's a must-watch!'
American Manhunt: Osama Bin Laden, released on the streamer on May 14, follows the pursuit and capture of the terrorist leader who planned the 9/11 attacks.
A follow-up to 2023's American Manhunt: The Boston Marathon Bombing, the three-part series goes behind the scenes of the US government's counter-terrorism efforts at the time.
Directors Daniel Sivan and Mor Loushy use footage from the time and talking head interviews to let viewers in to the perspectives of decision makers - and show the tough calls they had to make.
They told Netflix news site Tudum it is not about the war on terror but instead 'tells the story of the people tasked to find the world's most wanted terrorist and bring him to justice'.
Some fans have already taken to X, Metro reports, to praise the portrayal of their manhunt that 'changed their lives, America and the world as we know it', as the directors said.

One user said: 'American Manhunt Osama Bin Laden was a riveting documentary series.
'Just three episodes, most of which I've seen bits and pieces [of] over several documentaries/movies, but it was put together so well.
'Especially the third episode was nail-biting cinema. Hard-hitting, must-watch.'
Another added: 'That Osama Bin Laden American Manhunt instalment is so good. Tens to whoever produced and directed it.'
Someone else said: 'Intense, gripping and outstanding. American Manhunt Osama Bin Laden is superbly narrated and executed. I was hooked from beginning to end.'
Meanwhile, though, other viewers found it one-sided, weighted too in favour of government efforts.
One person said: 'It feels like the main point of the show is to make people sympathise with the CIA and the intelligence officers for their years-long intelligence failure. It's overkill at this point.'
Similarly, someone else weighed in: 'Netflix has released American Manhunt Osama Bin Laden which seems to feature the "heroic" CIA officers who worked in Alec Station?

'FBI and Congress blamed those clowns for actively concealing the presence of known Al-Qaeda terrorists in [the] USA before the 9/11 attacks. Not heroes. Idiots.'
The directors explained their approach: 'For us, the best way to understand history is to truly experience it.
'Being thrown into the driver's seat after the worst attack in American history would rattle anyone, even these brave men and women who had devoted their lives to protecting Americans by assessing geopolitical threats and sounding alarms that were often ignored.
'But the intelligence analysts didn't have time to grieve or reflect. They had a mission at hand: to figure out who did this and stop them before the next attack.'
The first episode follows CIA analysts as they trace the 9/11 attacks back to terrorist group Al-Qaeda and its leader bin Laden, before trying to apprehend him.
The second instalment depicts government frustration when the trail goes cold after the failed Battle of Tora Bora, the December 2001 American military engagement in Afghanistan aiming to capture or kill bin Laden.
Finally, the last episode sees then-President Barack Obama order the highly risky special forces raid in Pakistan in 2011 which saw bin Laden killed at last.
It comes after another film that recently dropped on the streamer was similarly hailed by fans on Rotten Tomatoes as 'the most intense movie I've ever seen'.
James Cameron is known for his involvement with movie classics like Titanic, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Directing as well as Avatar, which earned him a Global Globe Award.
Another film directed by Cameron, which is not as well known, is 1989 sci-fi thriller The Abyss - which hit Netflix earlier this month.
The adventure movie follows a diving team, made of civilians, who are roped into helping with a search for a lost submarine.
Ed Harris, Mary Mastrantonia, Micahel Biehn and Dick Warlock are amongst some of the talented cast members.
The Abyss received an Academy Award for the Best Visual Effects and James was presented with a Saturn Award for Best Director.

Fate of Jimmy Fallon's late-night spot at NBC is revealed after Stephen Colbert's brutal firing
Jimmy Fallon 's spot in the world of late night television has been declared safe, just weeks after news broke of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert 's shock cancellation. According to Page Six, Fallon, 50, and his fellow NBC late-night host, Seth Meyers, 51, will continue their hosting gigs, despite having to navigate some budget shifts. 'Seth and Jimmy had budget cuts last year, which saw Jimmy go from five days a week to four days,' an insider told the outlet. 'He records Monday through Thursday and the show repeats on Friday.' In June, Fallon renewed his multimillion-dollar contract with NBCUniversal to continue on as the host of The Tonight Show through 2028. The extension came a month after he rang in his 10-year anniversary on the show with a two-hour special, which included surprise celebrity appearances including Robert De Niro, Kim Kardashian, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lady Gaga and more. He has held onto the coveted role since 2014 after Jay Leno stepped down from the position in 2014. Over at ABC, Jimmy Kimmel has also been spared. 'Even if he was thinking of retirement, he most definitely will stay now,' a source insisted to Page Six. '[Disney President] Dana [Walden] would never ax Kimmel.' Daily Mail has reached out to Fallon's representatives and NBC, but they have not yet responded. Last month, Colbert's cancellation after a 10-season run drummed up considerable controversy as many dubbed him a political martyr under President Donald Trump. At the time, Trump praised CBS' decision to let Colbert go. 'The reason he (Colbert) was fired was a pure lack of TALENT, and the fact that this deficiency was costing CBS $50 Million Dollars a year in losses — And it was only going to get WORSE!' he wrote on Truth Social. Trump then asked: 'Next up will be an even less talented Jimmy Kimmel, and then, a weak, and very insecure, Jimmy Falon. The only real question is, who will go first?' Trump, who once gained reality television notoriety as the face of The Apprentice, tried to offer the trio a lesson in showbusiness, writing: 'Show Biz and Television is a very simple business. 'If you get Ratings, you can say or do anything. If you don't, you always become a victim. Colbert became a victim to himself, the other two will follow.' CBS announced the cancellation of the Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this month, just days after the host blasted the network's $16million settlement with Trump as a 'big fat bribe.' Executives said the decision was made after the show's revenue plummeted by around $40 million a year. 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will end its historic run in May 2026 at the end of the broadcast season,' they said in a statement. 'We consider Stephen Colbert irreplaceable and will retire the Late Show franchise at that time,' the executives continued. 'We are proud that Stephen called CBS home. He and his broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television.' At the time, Trump praised CBS' decision to let Colbert go The network explained that the decision to cancel the show is 'purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night.' 'It is not related in any way to the show's performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount,' it added. But Colbert has not held back in his criticism of his employers since the decision was finalized, telling crowds: 'They made one mistake, they left me alive! For the next ten months, the gloves are off!' He dedicated much of his first show back after the announcement to criticizing the network, inviting other liberal late night talk show hosts and comedians onto his program to stand united against the decision.

A-List star's generous gesture of support to woman beaten up in Cincinnati street brawl
Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen has made a generous gesture of support to a woman who was severely beaten following a street brawl in Cincinnati. The victim, known only as Holly, was attacked in the downtown area of the southern Ohio city alongside an unidentified man. The shocking July 26 attack, which was captured on camera, left the single mother severely bruised and suffering from a 'very bad' brain trauma. Conservative political commentator Benny Johnson launched a crowdfunding campaign to help support Holly with the 'mounting medical and legal bills' she is now facing after the brutal attack. Sheen, whose parents are Ohio natives, made a $1,000 donation to the campaign, vowing the attack 'will NOT be tolerated by the "true" Ohioans' and that 'justice will reign supreme'. The actor, 59, encouraged Holly to 'heal well' and reminded her that 'we are all rooting for you'. Johnson thanked Sheen and the 'thousands' of others who have 'stood with Holly'. As of Tuesday, the campaign has raised more than $493,000. The FBI on Monday arrested a fifth suspect in the now-viral violent beatdown. Police are still searching for a sixth suspect. Sheen donated to Holly's GiveSendGo campaign anonymously, but fans were quick to identify the actor as the generous giver. Not only did his sign his message 'CS', but Sheen left little clues to his identity riddled throughout the post Sheen donated to Holly's GiveSendGo campaign anonymously, but fans were quick to identify the actor as the generous giver. Not only did his sign his message 'CS', but Sheen left little clues to his identity riddled throughout the post. 'Hi Holly. Both of my parents are from Ohio. I'm a lifelong Reds fan and I also played for the Indians in a film years ago,' he wrote, referencing his role in Major League. Sheen portrayed rookie Cleveland Indians pitcher Ricky 'Wild Thing' Vaughn in the beloved 1989 sports comedy film. 'My Ohio connections run deep and what happened to you will NOT be tolerated by the "true" Ohioans (like yourself), as justice will reign supreme,' the actor continued. 'Heal well young lady, and know that we are all rooting for you!' Johnson shared a screenshot of Sheen's heartfelt message with his 3.8million X followers and thanked the star, as well as the countless others who donated to Holly's campaign, for 'saving a life'. Sheen replied to Johnson's post, praising the commentator for his 'stunning and compassionate' donation plan. 'Benny! I was merely following your gracious lead!' Sheen tweeted. 'The speed at which you and Sen Moreno hatched the donation plan, was stunning and compassionate and as patriotic as it gets. You both reminded all of us of the America we remain proud to call - home. He added: 'Keep up the great work, and to Holly, "we" have your six. xox. CS' Conservative political commentator Benny Johnson publicly praised Sheen's generous donation online, prompting a thoughtful reply from the actor Holly is a single, working-class mother and is out of work due to her injuries, the crowdfunder states. She is suffering from a severe concussion as well as hemorrhaging, with the money raised going to help her medical and legal bills. Images emerged last week of her extensive injuries, revealing that both sides of her face were extremely bruised following the assault. Her bottom lip was also cut open slightly, with dark bruises seen around her neck and upper torso. Holly is also living in an undisclosed location due to threats on her life. She spoke out for the first time since the attack last week, sharing an emotional video message that was posted to Johnson's X account. 'I want to say thank you to everyone for all of the love and support,' Holly shared. 'It's definitely what's keeping me going. And you have just brought back faith in humanity. 'It's been very, very hard, and I'm still recovering. I still have a very bad brain trauma. God bless you all. Thank you.' Investigators in Georgia on Monday arrested a fifth suspect in connection to the assault, Fox News reports. Patrick Rosemond, 38, was taken into custody by the FBI and the Atlanta Metropolitan Major Offender's Task Force in Fulton County, Georgia - more than 450 miles south of Cincinnati. Rosemond has been charged with two counts of felonious assault and aggravated riot, as well as one count of fugitive from justice for a fingerprintable charge. He is being held in Fulton County Jail until he is extradited back to Ohio. Officials say Rosemond lives in Cincinnati. It is unclear why he fled to Georgia as he does not appear to have any registered addresses in the state. Rosemond's arrest comes just days after police arrested Jermaine Matthews, Montianez Merriweather, DeKyra Vernon and Dominique Kittle for their alleged roles in the brawl. Kittle, 37, was taken into police custody on Friday night and was charged with felonious assault and aggravated riot, his bond was set at $150,000. He appeared in court on Saturday where his lawyer told the judge that he suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, according to WLWT. Matthews, 39, Merriweather, 34, and Vernon, 24, were taken into custody earlier last week after the ordeal, which JD Vance waded in on. Matthew and Merriweather were initially charged with aggravated riot and assault over the brawl. Matthews, however, was hit with three more charges on Thursday - two felonious assault and one misdemeanor assault charge. It is alleged that Merriweather was the 'catalyst' for what detectives have described as a 'coordinated attack'. New footage has also emerged showing the moments leading up to the attack, with one of the men who police said was a victim using racial slurs. The video, obtained by The Enquirer, shows the unknown individual say: 'Get him! Get that little n*****.' Two black men appeared to try and talk to the man to calm him down before the brawl starts. Matthews' attorney Brandon Fox released the video. Merriweather's family have also claimed that he was called racial slurs and spat on in the lead up to the fight. Fox said: 'It was not a Black, racist mob attacking people. These were separate fights that were triggered by racial slurs that ultimately poured gasoline on the fire.' The melee prompted an outcry from Police Chief Theresa Theetge who admonished witnesses for failing to call 911. 'Nobody called the police,' she said Monday. 'Nobody got us there as quickly as we could get there. They waited until they saw it on social media. 'That is unacceptable to not call the police when you view this. Traffic was horrendous. People saw this, they were fighting in front of traffic.'
