Women's Organization in Hajjah holds events commemorating Al-Wilayah Day & solidarity stands with Gaza

Saba Yemen15-06-2025
Hajjah - Saba:
The Women's Organization in Hajjah province organized celebratory events marking the Day of Imam Ali's (AS) Wilayah (Guardianship) and solidarity stands in support of Gaza.
During the events and stands held in the districts of Shihah, Mustaba, Kashr, Al-Shahal, Aflah Al-Yemen, Aflah Al-Sham, and Kuhlan Ash-Sharaf, participants chanted slogans of loyalty to Allah, His Messenger (PBUH), and Imam Ali (AS), while disavowing the enemies of Islam.
Speeches by participants emphasized that Wilayah is an extension of the Muhammadan message—a mobilizing, educational, and faith-driven milestone to emulate Imam Ali (AS), draw lessons from his life, virtues, and his role in defending Islam. They linked Yemen's suffering from aggression to its unwavering allegiance to Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and support for the oppressed.
The speeches stressed the importance of adhering to divine directives and sincere loyalty to the Prophet (PBUH) and Imam Ali (AS), noting that the Muslim Ummah's current humiliation stems from following the enemies of Islam—Jews and Christians—and abandoning the Muhammadan path.
Participants reaffirmed absolute commitment to the Palestinian cause as the central issue of the Islamic Ummah, which cannot be compromised. They condemned the Zionist enemy's brutal crimes against civilians in Gaza, emphasizing that these atrocities will not fade with time.
A statement issued during the events declared that the principle of Wilayah is the cornerstone preserving the Ummah's dignity, independence, and unity. Abandoning it, the statement warned, leads to subjugation and violation by enemies.
It highlighted the urgent need to understand Wilayah through the Quran and the Prophet's (PBUH) guidance, especially in an era of rampant corruption and deception. The statement clarified that the Declaration of Ghadeer is not merely a historical event but a divine proclamation vital to the Ummah's revival and adherence to Islam.
The statement strongly condemned the Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which martyred several leaders, scholars, and Mujahideen, exposing the American-backed Zionist hatred toward free voices and noble stances in the Ummah.
It affirmed that the Palestinian cause remains inseparable from the Ummah's struggles and vowed unwavering support, including continued humanitarian duty toward Palestinian women and children. The statement called on Arab and Muslim nations to fulfill their responsibilities against the genocide in Gaza, foremost by sustaining economic boycotts.
Lastly, the statement renewed allegiance to the revolution leader , Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddin Al-Houthi, declaring readiness to sacrifice everything for Al-Aqsa Mosque's liberation, regardless of consequences.

Doha – SABA: The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced on Friday that it has delivered a positive response to mediators regarding the latest proposal for a ceasefire to end the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. In a brief statement received by SABA News Agency, Hamas said: 'The movement has completed its internal consultations and discussions with Palestinian factions and forces regarding the latest proposal by the mediators to stop the aggression against our people in Gaza.' It added: 'The movement has delivered its response to the mediators, which was characterized by positivity, and it is fully ready to immediately engage in negotiations on the mechanism for implementing the proposed framework.' Thousands of victims are still trapped under the rubble or stranded in the streets, unreachable by ambulance and rescue teams. Facebook Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

OCHA warns of continued Israeli attacks on displaced, starving civilians in Gaza

New York – SABA: The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has warned of the continued Israeli attacks directly targeting tents and schools sheltering displaced persons in the Gaza Strip, as well as civilians attempting to access food aid, resulting in large numbers of casualties. In its latest report issued on Friday, OCHA stated that more than 714,000 people—about one-third of Gaza's population—have been displaced in the past three months alone, amid escalating aggression and a deepening humanitarian catastrophe. The report also warned of imminent fuel shortages, threatening to shut down life-saving services such as intensive care units and water production, with catastrophic consequences for patients and healthcare facilities. It further noted that the lack of fuel has forced child protection workers to travel on foot, causing dangerous delays in emergency responses and increasing risks for separated and unaccompanied children. In the occupied West Bank, OCHA reported that settlers carried out nearly 740 attacks targeting over 200 Palestinian communities during the first half of 2025, resulting in 340 Palestinian injuries and widespread property damage. June 2025 recorded the highest number of injuries in two decades, with 95 Palestinians injured by settlers—an average of three per day. OCHA also documented a mass demolition operation by Israeli forces in the Tel al-Khashaba pastoral community in the Jordan Valley, which led to the displacement of five Palestinian families. This marks the third mass demolition in the community since the beginning of the year. Meanwhile, the Israeli army issued demolition orders for 104 structures inside the Tulkarm refugee camp, further threatening already vulnerable populations. Hezbollah SG: Defending homeland requires no one's permission

Beirut – SABA: The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sheikh Naeem Qassem, affirmed on Friday that 'defending the homeland requires no one's permission', adding that the resistance remains open to discussions when a serious and effective alternative for national defense is proposed. In remarks delivered during the ninth night of Ashura commemorations at the Sayyed al-Shuhada Complex, as reported by Al-Manar, Sheikh Qassem stated: 'We are not far from discussion and understanding with those who claim to be capable of protecting the country. But we will not accept demands to hand over our weapons without first demanding an end to aggression.' He criticized those calling for disarmament while remaining silent about the Israeli occupation, saying: 'It is illogical to criticize only those resisting occupation while ignoring the occupier itself.' Addressing those betting on foreign powers or hiding behind hostile forces, Qassem said: 'You miscalculated. The people of resistance do not fear enemies, nor will they surrender their rights. True achievement lies in liberating land and restoring sovereignty — and we are always ready for this mission.' He emphasized that Ashura commemorations are a revival of Islam's broad and timeless teachings, noting that Islam is not a set of rigid rituals, but rather a comprehensive project for humanity, built on unchanging values and flexible practices that adapt to time and experience. Sheikh Qassem added that the emergence of pioneering figures in Lebanon who adhere to Islamic principles reflects a living embodiment of the values Hezbollah believes in. He also recalled the resistance's role in recent confrontations: 'In our last two battles — 'Al-Awliyaa' al-Ba's' and 'Al-Aqsa Flood' — we fought alongside the people of Gaza and sacrificed many martyrs, including women and children, because our resistance is comprehensive and inclusive.' He concluded by stressing that true patriotism lies in attachment to the land and defending it, educating future generations to love and belong to it: 'We believe in our country. There is no contradiction between Islam and patriotism. Islam encourages love of the homeland and urges its defense.' Qassem reiterated that Hezbollah's choice of resistance stems from Islam, inspired by the paths of Imam Hussein (A.S.) and Lady Zainab (A.S.), stating: 'Our resistance is not a slogan, but a firm stance against the Israeli enemy. He must leave — and we have no option but to resist him until he does.' Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)
