Dunelm hotel duvet cover that gives a 'real taste of luxury' now 50% off in sale

Now while your everyday duvet covers can feel great, nothing can beat crawling into a hotel bed with their clean, pristine sheets. While snuggling up in their luxurious feel, many people wish they could have the same experience at home.
Well thanks to Dunelm, now shoppers can as the retailer has slashed the price of their popular Hotel Cotton 230 Thread Count Stripe Duvet Cover. Normally starting at £28 for a single, prices for some of the colourways now start at £17 as part of the spring sale.
For shoppers who want to make the most of this deal, they will either need to purchase the charcoal or black editions as they are the only covers that are part of the sale. The black edition is currently selling a double for £17 and a super king size cover for £24, while the charcoal also has the regular king size cover for £20.
Neither of these colours where available in a single edition at the time of writing. However, Dunelm's regular prices for the Hotel Cotton duvet cover aren't unreasonable as they range from £28 for a single to £48 for a super king size. The cover is also available in emerald, navy, natural, cream, silver and white.
Described as "simple yet stylish" this duvet cover is expertly crafted from luxury 230 thread count cotton sateen. This is said to give the cover a "high quality, silky smooth finish". While gorgeous to look at, shoppers should be aware that this duvet cover does not come with pillowcases, which they will need to buy separately.
Thankfully, these pillowcases are also part of the sale, with the charcoal and black editions selling for £5.50. However, if shoppers choose one of the other colourways, they will need to spend £11 on the accompanying pillowcases.
For those looking for a full set, Dunelm has also reduced the price of the Jessa Pintuck Duvet Cover & Pillowcase Set. Shoppers can get the white or charcoal set for between £14.40 and £25.60 in the sale. However, fans of the blush and sage editions will need to spend a bit more as prices start at £18 and go up to £32.
Alternatively, Argos has put the Habitat Wavey Printed Bedding Set into their clearance sale. The single is currently selling for £10.67, but shoppers can also get this funky duvet set in a double size for £13.33 or spend £16 for the king-sized edition.
However, it turns out that those who are a fan of the Dunelm Hotel Cotton Duvet Cover aren't alone as the cover currently has a 4.2 star rating from over 800 reviews. Many shoppers have complimented the cover for its "luxury feel", with some claiming to go back and buy another in a different colour.
One happy shopper wrote: "The name of this bedding says it all. Absolute comfort at an affordable price. It not only looks good but feels good too. Would highly recommend."
While another is waiting for other colours to be released: "Love this bedlinen. Looks so fresh and stylish. Also find it easy to iron. I also bought navy which looks stunning! Would love it have it in a dusky pink and a sage green colour. Keep checking site to see if it has been added but sadly not."
However, one customer wasn't pleased with the finish of the cover, writing: "It feels amazing BUT it has buttons, but these buttons are like no other buttons…. If you look at them they become undone… if you move, undone! If you breathe… undone!
"For the cost of the cover you would expect the buttons to to stay fastened at the most a zip!! But it does feel amazing when you get in bed!!"
Another shopper grumbled about having to pay for the pillowcases separately: "I think it should be made more clearly that this duvet comes with no pillowcases. They have to be bought separately. For the money paid it will now cost another £11 for two pillowcases. The pack to state clearly this is for a duvet set only."
Despite this, a five-star reviewer simply wrote: "A real taste of luxury, gorgeous. Money well spent." With another customer adding: "Absolutely love this bedding feels so nice and expensive even though it wasn't."
A further shopper claimed they will be buying more: "Lovely bedding with a real luxury feel. The colour is bold and beautiful and finishes off our bedroom perfectly. Will be buying more sets in alternative colours."

Amazon drops 'great quality' £130 smartwatch that's 'perfect' to £24
Amazon has reduced a "great" smartwatch that shoppers say "does everything an Apple Watch does" Amazon shoppers are praising a "great quality" smartwatch that's been significantly reduced online. The retailer has dropped the price of a popular watch by a huge 83%. The Cillso smart watch has been reduced from its original price of £129.99, down to £23.99. The smartwatch features a 1.95 inch HD touch screen, and can make/answer calls. Users can create custom wallpapers or choose from multiple dials, as well as track their heart rate and sleep. The watch comes with 110 sports modes, message notification functions, activity tracking, sedentary alerts, music control and more. The watch comes in black, blue, deep black, rose and rose gold. It is compatible with Android 5.0 or above, and ios 9.0 or above. Alternatively, the Sekonda Connect Smart Watch is available for £89.99, while Argos stocks the Radley Pink Strap Smart Watch and Wireless Earbud Set for £73.99. The Reflex Active Women's Series 23 RGP Pink Strap Smart Watch is on sale at H. Samuel for £35. The Amazon smartwatch has racked up rave reviews online, with a 4.9 star rating overall. Among the many reviews, one person said: Great smart watch and worth every penny. Attractive looking watch with a super soft wristband. Very easy to set up and connect to my phone. The store also says the Black Alivio Hanging Basket Egg Chair is ideal for the decking, patio, lawn or slabs. It adds: "The hanging egg chair is perfect for sitting in the tranquility of your garden. With comfy cushions the Egg chair is a cosy seat to relax in at any time of the day." The "soft and comfortable" cushion is also designed to be "breathable", "washable" and "water resistant". Overall, the Black Alivio Hanging Basket Egg Chair is 202cm tall, 129cm wide, and 68cm deep. Its weight capacity is 200kg and Debenhams says the a ssembly time is approximately 20 minutes. If you are after a similar hanging egg chair, there are various other options to consider. Dunelm is selling this Santorini Egg Chair for £124.50, which was originally £249. It comes with a stand, "thick" cushions, polyrattan weave and a steel frame. Debenhams' Black Alivio Hanging Basket Egg Chair has an average customer rating of 4.5 stars out of five, with the majority posting five-star reviews. The chair's value is described as "excellent", as well as its value. One shopper, called Sharon, admitted she had dozed off a couple of times in the chair due to how comfortable it is. " Absolutely adore my new egg chair, the cushions are so comfortable, even fell asleep twice. Been amazing, the chair is also well made, strong and sturdy, best item I've purchased this summer. :) definitely recommend," she said. Debbie is another who insists the chair is 'sleep worthy'. "This is a lovely chair, it is so comfy that I fell asleep the other day. The chair is also foldable for easy storage, and the frame is solid, giving you full support," she said. Carolyn said the Black Alivio Hanging Basket Egg Chair provides her with "peace", writing: "I adore this chair. It's superbly made, and the cushion is so comfortable. I look forward to snatching some time to sit in it due to a ridiculous schedule, and it gives me absolute peace." Shazza said: "Bought this after searching through a few, absolutely perfect. Son fixed it up and said it was so easy and it's so comfortable, would definitely recommend it to friends and family." Nancy said: "Fabulous, well made chair for the price in the sale.
