Prayers Pouring In For Deion Sanders After Latest Health Post

Prayers Pouring In For Deion Sanders After Latest Health Post originally appeared on The Spun. Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has been privately battling back from some serious health issues for a while now and offered a new update on Saturday. On Saturday, Sanders shared a new photo alongside his son Deion Jr. declaring that he's "coming to a stadium sold out soon." He thanked Deion Jr. for being there alongside him for his health journey. "#Every little step I take My son @deionsandersjr has been there so we've decided to keep on stepping! #CoachPrime coming to a stadium sold out soon," Sanders wrote on Instagram. The post comes just a couple of days after he announced that he's getting "one step closer everyday." "1 step closer Everyday, I'm Walking it out! Our Team is working their butts off therefore I've got to match that (fire) they have!" he wrote on Thursday. The positive health updates have led to an outpouring of support and prayers for Coach Prime's continued recovery: "Thinking about you brother," NFL legend Barry Sanders wrote on Instagram. "Praying for you Coach!" another user wrote. "We are with you Coach!!!!! Love you," wrote a third. "Praying for you brother🙏🏾❤️🔥," Terry Crews wrote. "You know we need you prime. Get well ❤️soon!" "Bucky is always the "good ole son". Thank you for taking care of our Coach Prime, Bucky. His family and the world needs him!! Coach Prime is such a blessing from God!!" "(Love) my brother in Christ! Continued Prayers for God's healing Grace -Jesus." It's still not entirely clear what the health issue Sanders has been battling is. The entire Sanders family has agreed to stay quiet on the matter as the Hall of Famer heals. But between the weighted vest he's been wearing and his well-documented medical history, it wouldn't be a big shock if it has something to do with foot or leg issues. Back in 2021, Sanders famously had to get two toes removed and nearly lost his entire foot due to blood clots. We hope that Coach Prime continues recovering on his own timetable and can't wait to see him on a college football sideline this Pouring In For Deion Sanders After Latest Health Post first appeared on The Spun on Jun 29, 2025 This story was originally reported by The Spun on Jun 29, 2025, where it first appeared.

Dodgers' Teoscar Hernández Turns Down Home Run Derby to Focus on Postseason Push

Dodgers' Teoscar Hernández Turns Down Home Run Derby to Focus on Postseason Push originally appeared on Athlon Sports. In 2024, the Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series. But that wasn't the only hardware that Dodgers outfielder Teoscar Hernandez brought home that year. At the 2024 All-Star game festivities, Hernández won the Home Run Derby. Advertisement Now, a year later, with a chance to defend his crown, Hernández turned the chance down. He won't partake in the 2025 MLB Home Run Derby. Hernández revealed his reason for declining to partake in the derby to David Vassegh of Dodger Talk. Vassegh shared on Twitter/X that Hernández decided not to partake in the Home Run Derby in 2025 due to his desire not to risk injury, and be ready for the second half of the season and a postseason push. Part of why Hernández is making such a decision is his prior stint on the injured list for a groin strain in May. To avoid aggravating it or risking another injury, Hernández is planning to sit out the Home Run Derby. Advertisement There will be a new set of players in the Derby this year, as Hernández has officially backed out. But, that isn't to say he won't continue raking for the Dodgers in 2025. Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder Teoscar Hernandez (37) reacts in the fourth inning against the San Diego Padres at Dodger Lee-Imagn Images In his 66 games played for the Dodgers, Hernández has 69 hits, 40 runs scored, 17 doubles, 14 home runs, 53 RBIs, five stolen bases, 12 walks, and 65 strikeouts. Hernández is batting .270 with a .500 slugging percentage and an .803 OPS on the season. Compared to 2024, Hernández hasn't been getting on base as much, but he's still slugging the ball at a near identical clip, .501 in 2024. He's been one of the best sluggers in the game, and still has impressive numbers despite missing some time. Advertisement While the Dodgers won't have Hernández back in the Derby, Shohei Ohtani or Andy Pages could make an appearance. Hernández is officially sitting out of the Home Run Derby, but his 2024 performance will always remain a part of MLB history. How to watch Wimbledon 2025: live stream tennis online for FREE from anywhere

You're still thinking about that final, aren't you? A repeat sure would be nice, but only if Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner earn it as the last of the 128 still standing. Amazingly, of the 10 top-ranked women only Jasmine Paolini has ever reached the Wimbledon final, let alone won it. That was 12 months ago, when she was beaten by the criminally underrated Barbora Krejcikova. You can watch Wimbledon 2025 from anywhere with a VPN and potentially for free. Wimbledon 2025 runs from Sunday, June 30 to Sunday, July 13. Full schedule below.► Daily start time: 6 a.m. ET / 3 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. BST / 8 p.m. AEST► FREE STREAM — BBC iPlayer (U.K.) / 9Now (Australia)► U.S. — ESPN via Sling TV / ESPN Plus► Watch anywhere — Try NordVPN 100% risk free The grand slam of grand slams, the most major of the majors, Wimbledon is a special event. The replacement of the line judges with an automated system this year, however, feels like the loss of something sacred. Their immaculate get-up, characterful calls and even their occasional errors, prompting the communal slow clap that would meet every challenge, will be sorely missed. While it's tough to envisage Jack Draper mixing it up with the likes of Alcaraz and Sinner, his ascent to world No.4 has, for the first time since Andy Murray's heyday, raised hopes amongst the locals. Though he hasn't won a slam in nearly two years, Novak Djokovic looks as likely a contender as anyone. The seven-time champion has laid low since Roland Garros in an effort to conserve his mental and physical fitness — a triumph on the grass courts would be a record 25th grand slam. Coco Gauff's French Open triumph and Iga Swiatek's extended slump has put a bit of pressure on Aryna Sabalenka. Despite being virtually ever-present at the top of the rankings for the past 12 months, she only has the US Open title to show for it, and she's never made it beyond the semi-finals in SW19. They won't be among the top seeds, but Marketa Vondrousova, Elena Rybakina, Beatriz Haddad Maia and Karolina Muchova could be dark horses. An untimely thigh injury may have put paid to Krejcikova's title defence.
