
Muted Debut! Travel Food Services shares list at ₹1,125 on NSE, up just 2.27% from IPO price
The initial public offering (IPO), with a total issue size of ₹ 2000 crore, was open for bidding from July 7 to July 9. The offering received a decent overall response from investors, closing with a subscription of 3.03 times.
During the three-day subscription window, the IPO garnered bids for 3.86 crore shares against the 1.27 crore shares available. The retail investor category was subscribed 0.73 times while the non-institutional investor (NII) segment witnessed 1.67 times subscription. Meanwhile, the qualified institutional buyer (QIB) portion was bid the most, 8.10 times. Moreover, the employee quota was booked 1.81 times in the 3 days of bidding.
The IPO is entirely an offer for sale of 1.8 crore shares with no fresh issue of shares. The IPO has a lot size of 13 shares, with the minimum investment for a retail individual investor set at ₹ 14,300. Additionally, the issue includes a reservation of up to 40,382 shares for employees offered at a discount of ₹ 104.00 to the issue price.
The company will not benefit financially from the Offer, as the entire proceeds will be directed to the Promoter Selling Shareholder.
Travel Food Services successfully raised ₹ 598.80 crore from anchor investors on Friday, July 4, 2025, ahead of its IPO.
Kotak Mahindra Capital is the book-running lead manager of the IPO, while MUFG Intime India Private Limited (Link Intime) is its registrar.
Travel Food Services Limited, established in 2007, is a prominent player in India's airport-based food and beverage sector. The company operates in the quick service restaurant (Travel QSR) and airport lounge segments, offering a comprehensive portfolio of food and hospitality solutions tailored for travelers.
As of June 30, 2024, the company manages 397 Travel QSR outlets across airports in India and Malaysia. Its food and beverage operations span across 117 partner and in-house brands, delivering diverse cuisines and formats that cater to the needs of passengers looking for fast, convenient, and quality dining experiences while in transit.
In addition to QSRs, Travel Food Services also runs premium lounges within airport terminals, primarily serving first and business-class travelers, members of airline loyalty programs, and select credit/debit card holders. These lounges offer a comfortable, upscale environment for travelers to relax before their flights.

Union Bank shares slip 4% after Q1 profit rises 12% YoY but NII declines
Union Bank of India shares declined nearly 4% to Rs 140.80 in Monday's trade on the BSE after the state-owned lender reported a 12% year-on-year rise in net profit to Rs 4,115.5 crore for the first quarter of FY26, compared to Rs 3,679 crore in the same period last year. ADVERTISEMENT Total income rose to Rs 31,791 crore in the June quarter from Rs 30,874 crore a year ago. However, net interest income (NII) declined 3.2% year-on-year to Rs 9,112.6 crore from Rs 9,412 crore. The bank's total business grew by 5% to Rs 22.14 lakh crore, up from Rs 21.08 lakh crore at the end of June 2024. Provisions and contingencies increased to Rs 1,664.5 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 1,543.9 crore in the March quarter. Provisions for non-performing assets (NPAs), however, fell to Rs 1,152 crore from Rs 1,675.7 crore in Q4 month, the lender reduced its lending rates by 50 basis points, aligning with broader moderation by the Reserve Bank of India. The revision covered both the external benchmark lending rate (EBLR) and the repo-linked lending rate (RLLR), benefiting retail and MSME borrowers. India Cements declines 5% as company incurs net loss against profit YoY
India Cements, an Aditya Birla Group company, shares slipped 4.9 per cent, logging an intraday low at ₹329.9 per share on BSE. The selling pressure on the counter came after the company posted mixed Q1 results. At 10:33 AM, India Cements share price was trading 2.62 per cent lower at ₹338.1 per share on the BSE. In comparison, the BSE Sensex was up 0.41 per cent at 82,089.66. The company's market capitalisation stood at ₹10,477.62 crore. The 52-week high of the stock was at ₹385.5 per share, and the 52-week low of the stock was at ₹239 per share. India Cements Q1 results India Cements, a subsidiary of UltraTech Cement, reported a consolidated net loss of ₹132.9 crore for the April-June 2025 quarter, as compared to a net profit of ₹58.47 crore a year ago. The consolidated total income for the quarter under review was ₹1,033.85 crore, compared to ₹1,042.27 crore a year ago. Its Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) stood at ₹92 crore in quarter under review, as against Ebitda loss of ₹9 crore a year ago. Net sales for the quarter stood at ₹1,025 crore as compared to ₹1,027 crore a year ago. During the quarter, the company approved the sale of its entire equity stake in its subsidiary, Industrial Chemicals and Monomers Ltd. It also said it had successfully refinanced its debt, resulting in a significant reduction in finance costs, from ₹82.36 crore in the corresponding quarter last year to ₹26.58 crore. "The company is planning a capital expenditure programme over the next two years to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs; increase the share of renewable power; and enhance safety standards," India Cements said. Profitability is expected to improve further as the benefits of this capex programme begin to flow in, along with synergies from economies of scale, a wider distribution network, and a stronger balance sheet.
