THIS is the moment a gang of motorbike-riding yobs swarmed a man in central London in broad daylight - but all was not as it seemed.
The dramatic incident on Adam Street near Waterloo Bridge on Thursday saw the target eventually flee in a Range Rover as passersby stood open-mouthed.

However, the 'victim' was actually actor Theo James - and his getaway driver ex-football hardman Vinnie Jones, on set of the second series of The Gentlemen.
The footage, shared with The Sun, was filmed from an office building across the street by a big fan of the Guy Ritchie-produced Netflix series.
She told us: 'I was visiting my friend in his office - it was about half nine or 10. There were a couple sections of the street barricaded off and suddenly a film crew appeared.
'There were a couple of us watching at the window and I started filming.
'I recognised it was Theo James straight away. I was like 'this is exciting - oh my God!''
In the footage, the director can be heard shouting 'action' before James, 40 - who plays lead character Eddie Halstead - emerges from the Adelphi building with three other actors.
Suddenly, half a dozen thugs on motorbikes arrive from both directions as James dashes towards a waiting Range Rover and driver Vinnie Jones, who plays Geoff Seacombe.
The ex-Leeds United, Chelsea and Wimbledon midfielder, 60, then attacks one rider with a bat, before the car speeds off around the corner.
Further footage shows the crew focusing in on Jones thumping the thug with the bat, causing him to fall backwards off the bike.
Brit acting legend admits he wants to play James Bond saying 'the world's gone crazy' if Amazon casts a US star for 007
And more video shot from the ground sees one of the riders doing a wheelie in front of James.
The witness, 26 - who did not wish to be named - went on to tell The Sun: 'It was all very quick, but it was cool to watch.
'You could hear some bangs and motorbikes revving - and it grabbed everyone's attention.
'My friend's seen a few things being filmed before around there. He said 'they're definitely filming something', then I saw the mic at the side of the road, then I saw Theo James.'
She added: 'I watched the first season and loved it - I love Theo James and Vinnie Jones, they're really funny.

'I read that Maya Jama's gonna be in the new series too, which should be good.'
The Gentlemen is a spin-off of the Ritchie-directed 2019 film of the same name, which starred Charlie Hunnam, Matthew McConaughey, Hugh Grant and Colin Farrell.
The TV show, which also features Skins and Pirates of the Caribbean actress Kaya Scodelario, follows James' Eddie after he inherits his family's estate only to discover that it's home to an enormous weed empire, dragging him into the criminal underworld.
James - who also appeared in The Inbetweeners Movie - is currently among those leading the race to become the next James Bond.
According to Coral, fellow Brit Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 34, is top of the betting, however, James this month overtook former favourite Henry Cavill, 42, to take second place.

In scenes that will air on Sunday night, former cast made their epic returns to make the huge decision. Former Islanders including Harry Cooksley's ex Emma Munro, Billykiss Azeez, and smitten couple Harrison Solomon and Lauren Wood, voted for the couple they wanted to boot. While The Sun can't reveal their identities at this crucial stage of the ITV2 dating show, we can share that Islanders made their decisions having watched back footage and been shocked by what they saw. A source said: 'This couple have been a big part of this series so this is a shocking moment. 'But having watched it back, ex- Islanders have become privy to action they weren't fully aware of and it left them more than questioning the integrity of this connection. 'The couple were sent packing on Friday afternoon and the scenes will air on Sunday.' It comes after Conor and Megan were dumped from the villa following a public vote on Friday night. Receiving the fewest votes from viewers, Conor and Megan were announced to be leaving before they packed their cases and departed the villa. Megan had only recently returned to the villa as a bombshell after previously having a connection with Conor the first time around, earlier on in the series. Love Island stars in shock as OG couple are brutally dumped just DAYS before the final Fans were fuming that the pair had the least votes and were in turn branded the least compatible couple on the show. Many thought another couple should have been voted as the least compatible, with several taking to social media to air their thoughts. One person said on X: "MEGAN AND CONNOR. "THIS IS RIGGED. LOVE ISLAND 2025 - ALL the dumped stars so far LOVE Island 2025 is in its penultimate week. Here are all the dumped Islanders so far ... OWN UP NOW. NOW." Another added: "Gutted to seeing the both of them being dumped from the villa. "So happy for the both of them being together. And it should have been Meg & Dejon." Conor and Megan's dumping came just mere hours after Helena and Blu were dumped from the Islander. With the final now in touching distance, the couples that remain are Meg and Dejon; Shakira and Harry; Toni and Cach; Yasmin and Jamie; and Angel and Ty. But who will win the coveted £50,000 and title of winning couple? And which couple won't make the final after being voted out by their former co-stars?

Loose Women's Saira Khan says she feels like she's 'losing the plot' in honest update
Saira Khan, 55, said that sometimes it all feels 'like it's too much' in a post to fans Saira Khan has shared the struggles that have left her feeling like a 'dishevelled mess' in a candid social media post. While the TV star said her hormones might be at play, she stressed that life often feels too 'overwhelming'. Posting to Instagram yesterday, the ex-Loose Women star said: "This rant is for any woman, a mother, who works or runs her own business, is going through hormonal change, and just feels like it's too much. It's overwhelming. "And people just don't understand the f***ing effort that you put into every day and people go, 'It's brain fog'. I'm not f***ng surprised it's brain fog because my brain is thinking about the dogs, the washing up, the cooking, the cleaning, the work that I've got to do. "And then I'm thinking about the next day and it's like, I'm not saying that it's just us women that do that, but it does feel like in my household, and in many households up and down this country, if you are a strong driven woman, they pile it on." Now 55, Saira said she's taking HRT to balance her hormones, but isn't having too much success thus far. She acknowledged this as an 'underlying irritation' but also said the people around her just aren't helping enough. She explained: "And then on top of that, we're going to a festival, they're all upstairs getting ready, the dog hasn't been fed, the dog hasn't been walked, the washing's still in, things haven't been put away. "The f***ing bins are overflowing. We are going away for four days, right? I don't want to come back to a f***ing s***hole. And then I'm running a business, which I love, it's my passion, but it's in a growth spurt. So, I'm like, I've got to also be thinking about that, trying to work at the same time." Worried she's 'losing the plot', Saira told her family to go to the festival without her so she could spend some time alone before joining them. She asked her fans if they had ever experienced something similar. "The biggest rant EVER of a middle-aged working mum," Saira added in the post's caption. "If anyone else feels the same way, please let me know because I feel like it is just me having these episodes where I just cannot cope with the reconsideration! I look like a state…. But that's what I'm driven to… a dishevelled mess!" Saira's post was quickly flooded with comments from fans, many of whom also empathised with the challenges women face in households. One person wrote: "OMG Saira you just described my life!! I feel your pain." Meanwhile, another added: "I feel exactly the same and I don't have as much on my plate as you." Someone else also added: "This has been me today! "Why are there three of us in this house, but I am the only one: washing, cleansing, arranging the meals, doing the shopping, worrying about school uniforms and play dates and holiday clubs and birthday presents and holidays and the dog and myself and the car and and and and AND!!"
