A mysterious case has came to light in New Jersey, the United States, where a 24-year-old Indian woman has gone missing days after arriving for an arranged marriage, reported New York Post.
The lady, identified as Simran Simran, arrived in the US from India on June 20.
Surveillance footage showed the woman looking at her phone and seemingly waiting for someone, said the report.
New Jersey Police said she didn't appear to be in distress in the video.
The police stated that they were told that Simran had came in the US for the arranged marriage, but it was also possible she had no intention to marry, and merely wanted a free trip to the America.
According to the US authorities, Simran has no relatives living in the States and speaks no English.
Her international phone only works via Wi-Fi.
The woman was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a white T-shirt, black flip flops, and small diamond-studded earrings.
Meanwhile, in another incident, a 23-year-old Indian woman was brutally attacked and robbed near her home in Winnipeg, the capital of the Canadian province of Manitoba, and a teenager has been arrested in connection with the incident, police said.
The woman, identified by community members as Tanpreet Kaur, was walking back to her apartment in Winnipeg after finishing her evening shift late when she was ambushed by two strangers at the 1-99 block of Roslyn Road shortly after midnight on June 23.
Winnipeg police said in a statement on Wednesday that bystanders in the area stopped the attack after which suspects quickly fled after stabbing and robbing the victim of her property.
'The victim was stabbed and robbed of her cell phone. During the assault, she was able to disarm the suspect and held onto the knife, while they continued to assault her. Bystanders intervened and called 911 and the suspects ran off,' the police said, adding the woman was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

British YouTuber recovers AirPods in Pakistan after tracking them for a year

In an unusual tale of persistence and technology, British content creator Miles Routledge, known online as Lord Miles, managed to recover his lost AirPods a year after they went missing during a hotel stay in Dubai. The device was eventually traced to Jhelum in Pakistan, leading him on an unexpected international journey to reclaim it. The 24-year-old YouTuber revealed that his AirPods Pro disappeared while he was waiting for a visa in Dubai. 'They vanished after housekeeping came to clean my hotel room,' he wrote on X (formerly Twitter). However, the saga didn't end there. Routledge had enabled Apple's 'Find My' feature on the device, which allowed him to track its location long after it went missing. To his surprise, the AirPods appeared to be active in Jhelum, a city in Pakistan's Punjab province. The signal pinged from near a local eatery named "2nd Wife Restaurant", a detail that quickly gained attention online. Determined to retrieve the gadget, Routledge contacted local police in Jhelum, who launched an investigation after his social media posts went viral. The police narrowed down their search to residents who had recently returned from Dubai. They eventually located a local man in possession of the AirPods. According to officials, the man claimed he had purchased the item in Dubai from an Indian national, unaware it was stolen. Authorities have reportedly taken the seller into custody on charges of dealing in stolen goods. Routledge flew to Pakistan to collect the recovered AirPods and thanked the Jhelum Police for their swift action. In a video update, he shared his experience of being greeted like a celebrity. 'I was welcomed by the police chief and over 20 journalists. This has somehow become a national news story — strangers on the street recognise me and ask about my AirPods,' he wrote. The UK YouTuber was also treated to lunch at the same restaurant that played an unexpected role in his AirPods' journey. The story has captured widespread interest in Pakistan and abroad, blending tech, travel, and a touch of humour in a truly one-of-a-kind recovery mission.

UK Vlogger Loses AirPods In Dubai, Finds Them In Pakistan, Blames 'Cow-Worshipping' Indians

Last Updated: British YouTuber Miles Routledge found his stolen AirPods in Pakistan after an Indian man sold them there. Routledge criticised Indians, calling them thieves. British YouTuber Miles Routledge had lost his AirPods in Dubai a year ago and finally found them in Pakistan. However, his anger was directed at India because an Indian man had stolen his AirPods and then sold them in Pakistan. Routledge had sparked controversy last year for his racist posts in which he had targeted Indians, and this time again he was criticising Indian culture. Routledge, also known as Lord Miles, blamed the Indians for theft and said that they came from a corrupt system. He also criticised Indians for their religious beliefs and mocked them for worshipping cows. He claimed that the AirPods got stolen after he gave them to Indian cleaners with his belongings. 'Many Indians come from a corrupt system. They worship a god that is a cow, not a real man, which is why I believe Indians are not real men. They stole my AirPods when I trusted them to clean my room and then sold them to a man in Pakistan. I do not like India. It's a country full of 1.4 billion problems," Routledge told the media in Pakistan. As per Pakistan's Geo TV, the influencer had enabled the 'lost mode" feature on his iPhone, which helped him track the AirPods' location in real time. He was left astonished when he saw that the GPS location showed his AirPods were in Kala Gujran, near the city of Jhelum in Pakistan's Punjab. Because he had no direct contacts in Pakistan, the vlogger used his extensive social media following and tagged the Jhelum Police in his posts, reported Geo TV. As per reports, Routledge also shared the device's serial number with the police. The YouTuber has more than 178K subscribers on YouTube and over 333K followers on X. Routledge Reaches Pakistan To Get AirPods, Lashes Out At Indians Taking to X after some time, the British YouTuber said that he will be travelling to Pakistan to recover his AirPods. 'I'm going to get a police officer and storm the area, get back my AirPods and film it all. Don't like thieves," the YouTuber tweeted. When he reached Pakistan, the AirPods were already in police custody. In a televised statement, Miles appreciated the Jhelum Police and said that the force did what 'Scotland Yard in London would not do for a British citizen like me." After finding his AirPods, Miles Routledge slammed Indians and called them 'thieves". 'An announcement from the Pakistan Jhelum Police Chief, the Inspector General and Lord Miles regarding the STOLEN AirPods. I have MY AirPods back after 1 year! TLDR; it was unknowingly sold to a Pakistani man by an Indian national who's now been arrested on procuring and trafficking stolen goods," Routledge wrote on X. Last year, the YouTuber shared racist posts targeting Indians, which sparked controversy. Routledge had shared a screenshot of a threatening message sent by an anonymous X user and claimed that he was Indian. In another post, the YouTuber joked about launching nuclear weapons against India. 'When I become Prime Minister of England, I'll open the nuclear silos… I'm itching to launch and atomize entire nations over the smallest infraction (sic)," he wrote. 'Hell, I might just launch at India just for the sake of it!" he wrote.

Adult film star Kylie Page found dead at 28 in Los Angeles home

Kylie Page, an American adult film actor who also featured in a Netflix series exploring the pornography industry, was found dead at her Los Angeles residence on June 25. She was 28, the New York Post reported. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office confirmed her death, though the cause is still under investigation. Born Kylie Pylant in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Page began her career in adult entertainment in 2016 and went on to appear in over 200 films. She gained wider attention in 2017 after being featured in Netflix's docu-series Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On, which focused on the lives of young men and women navigating the adult entertainment industry. In the show, Page candidly opened up about her experiences and struggles, including substance use. Several adult industry platforms paid tribute to the late actor. Brazzers, one of the production houses she frequently collaborated with, wrote on X (formerly Twitter), 'Kylie will be remembered for her laughter, kindness and the light she brought wherever she went. Our condolences go out to her family, friends, and fans.' Her talent agency, Hussie Models, also issued a statement mourning her loss. 'Losing Kylie is truly heartbreaking,' said agent Alex Mack. 'She was a kind soul and brought warmth and energy wherever she went.' Page's family has launched a fundraiser to cover funeral expenses and to bring her remains home to Oklahoma. 'She was a daughter who loved deeply, a sister who never let go, and a friend who always showed up,' the GoFundMe post read. Kylie Page's funeral is expected to be held in the Midwest, where she will be laid to rest surrounded by her family and loved ones. Last year, a Peruvian adult film star, Thaina Fields, was found dead at her home. The news of her sudden death came in after she made allegations about abuse in the porn industry. Fields, 24, was among the best-known adult film stars in Peru.
