When is Bill Belichick at ACC media days? Start time, TV channel for UNC news conference
There are a handful of storylines that are expected to define the ACC during the 2025 college football season. Behind quarterback Cade Klubnik and coach Dabo Swinney's belated willingness to bring in impactful transfers, will Clemson be able to repeat as conference champions? How will SMU follow up its stellar debut season in the league, which ended with a berth in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff? How will Florida State rebound from a disastrous 2-10 finish in 2024 — if it even can at all? Perhaps nobody in the league will have more eyeballs on it this year than a program that has won at least 10 games once since its coach's girlfriend was born. REQUIRED READING: Bill Belichick and North Carolina football show must deal with ACC Media Days circus When said program hires arguably the greatest coach in NFL history, though, the spotlight can intensify. North Carolina sent shockwaves through the college football world last December when it hired Bill Belichick, who helped turn what had been a hapless New England Patriots franchise into a six-time Super Bowl champion. For all of his accomplishments, the move comes with risks. Belichick has never coached in college. At 73, he'll begin the season as the oldest coach in college football. And these were just the concerns that were present before Jordon Hudson, Belichick's 24-year-old girlfriend, turned the cagey coach into a tabloid figure through her perpetual public-relations missteps. On July 24, Belichick will make one of his first major public appearances as the Tar Heels' coach when he speaks at ACC media days, about a month before North Carolina's season opener against TCU. Here's what you need to know to watch Belichick at ACC media days: REQUIRED READING: An absurd quest to find who can mimic Indiana's College Football Playoff run What time is Bill Belichick at ACC media days? Belichick is scheduled to take the dais at ACC media days in Charlotte at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 24. He'll be appearing four hours after Boston College coach Bill O'Brien, who was his former offensive coordinator with the Patriots. What channel are ACC media days on today? Belichick's news conference at ACC media days, as well as all coach and player news conferences at the event, will air on the ACC Network. Streaming options include the ESPN app, which requires a valid cable login to access; ESPN+, ESPN's subscription streaming service; and Fubo, which offers a free trial to potential subscribers. Watch ACC media days live with Fubo (free trial) Will Jordon Hudson be at ACC media days? It's unclear whether Belichick's girlfriend, who he described in his memoir as his 'creative muse,' will be joining him in Charlotte for ACC media days. Since Hudson clumsily attempted to interfere with Belichick's interview on CBS Sunday Morning interview in April, and after journalist Pablo Torre reported she had been banned from the North Carolina football facility, the university has publicly distanced itself from Hudson, noting that she's not an employee of the school but rather the manager of Belichick's 'personal brand' (though it added she is welcome at the football facility). At the very least, Belichick will be in Charlotte with four of his players — defensive backs Thaddeus Dixon and Will Hardy, quarterback Gio Lopez and wide receiver Jordan Shipp — all of whom will also be speaking with the assembled media.

'Speechless' Jets diehard Mike Greenberg reacts live to Justin Fields injury
Mike Greenberg -- in case you didn't know -- is a massive New York Jets fan. We've seen him rant on ESPN from time to time about his favorite NFL team, and rightfully so. Being a Jets fan is torture. More proof of that happened on Thursday morning. Reports from Jets training camp say that starting QB Justin Fields came up limping after a few plays and he was taken to the sidelines before a cart came and took him to the locker room. Not great. Not great at all. So there was Greenberg, live on ESPN, during Get Up! and he had to be the one to deliver the breaking news. It's heartbreaking to watch. Here's the whole thing: "I am speechless. I don't know how to put into words how frustrated I am to read to you what I'm about to read to you ... I turn to others to speak on my behalf, because quite candidly, if I were to speak right now, I don't know how well that would go for anyone. It is the first freaking day of practice -- they're not even in pads -- and Justin Fields is being carted off the field!" This is devastating. Hopefully it's not a major injury What's the latest update on Justin Fields' injury? As of publishing this around 10:15 a.m. ET, it's this: Just not good all around. UPDATE: It's a toe injury, per head coach Aaron Glenn. Could have been much worse! This article originally appeared on For The Win: Mike Greenberg reacts to Justin Fields injury on ESPN
