Oasis fever swept through Cardiff at the weekend as the mega band reunited in their historic first gigs for 16 years. Liam and Noel Gallagher put on two unforgettable performances at the Principality Stadium on Friday and Saturday which have earned huge plaudits from fans and critics alike, with worldwide publications giving the concert five stars.
Away from the stadium itself, you couldn't walk through the streets without reminders of the gigs themselves, with wall murals, traders selling bucket hats and tambourines, pubs blasting out the greatest hits, and even an official store at St David's Shopping Centre.
And at the Tramshed, there was a special fan exhibition of some of the most iconic items and memorabilia that have defined the history of Oasis.
Among them was Noel's famous Union Jack epiphone sheraton electric guitar, which became a symbol of British music in the mid 1990s. It became particularly iconic after Noel played it at Oasis's gigs at Maine Road in 1996.
Liam's iconic Emporio Armani jacket worn in the 1995 Wonderwall video was there, as was his sheepskin coat worn at the 1996 Brit awards.

Also on display was Noel's epiphone riviera electric guitar, which he used in 1995, and early 1996, during the recording sessions of the (What's the Story) Morning Glory? album, and during the recording of Be Here Now. It featured in the videos of Don't Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova and Roll With It.
The original, handwritten lyrics were also on display in a glass cabinet from some of Oasis's greatest songs, including Don't Look Back In Anger, Stand By Me, and Champagne Supernova.

There was also a glass cabinet full of the band's awards that they won during their career, including a Brit award and the Q award for best act in the world.
Some of Liam's famous tambourines were on display in framed cases, as were band itineraries and programmes from previous tours.
Oasis next head home to Heaton Park in Manchester, where they will play five gigs from Friday, July 11. The exhibition will be set up there, and at the other locations of their gigs.

Tickets for the Oasis reunion sold out across all venues due to huge demand when they went online earlier in the year.
However, there are still several options available for fans trying to snag a last-minute spot. Limited last-minute tickets can be bought from the official Ticketmaster resale site, where fans who can no longer go sell their seats, although these tend to go into and out of stock quickly.

Elsewhere, resale sites like Viagogo, Vivid Seats, StubHub and Twickets are selling tickets for various dates with prices from £121, although fans should always bear in mind that many official sites, such as Ticketmaster and Live Nation, discourage the purchase of resale tickets.

Annabel Croft's massive net worth from BBC job and stance on dating after husband's death
Annabel Croft's massive net worth from BBC job and stance on dating after husband's death Annabel Croft was one of Britain's most exciting tennis prospects in the 1980s, and fast forwarding to this summer, the 1984 junior Wimbledon champion is on everybody's screens at SW19 Annabel Croft is currently working for the BBC at Wimbledon (Image: 2025 Visionhaus ) Annabel Croft has become one of the BBC's most recognisable and distinguished tennis pundits and commentators. Croft, 58, has endless expertise and experience in the sport, having won junior Wimbledon all the way back in 1984. She has gone on to become a cultured and informative voice, ever since she started working for the BBC as a Wimbledon summariser on Five Live in 2000. However, things away from the court have not been easy for Croft, who is still mourning the death of her husband Mel Coleman in 2023. Despite her personal tragedy, she is still appearing on the nation's screens, offering her expert insights on all things tennis. With the second week of Wimbledon upon us, Wales Online has taken a look at Croft's life and work. Massive net worth While it is difficult to ascertain what her exact net worth is, previous reports have claimed Croft's value is at around £1.2million. This is considering the prize money she amassed over the course of her tennis career, which saw her reach a career high ranking of No. 24 in the world while also winning £201,254. However, the bulk of her net worth is believed to be rooted in her television work. Croft starred in Series 21 of Strictly Come Dancing, where she finished fourth while dancing with partner Johannes Radebe. Article continues below Croft has also presented television shows such as Treasure Hunt and Inceptor, while also working as a tennis pundit for the BBC, Eurosport and Sky Sports. Primarily, her main work is with the Beeb, where she works as a commentator, pundit and presenter, especially when Wimbledon is on. Husband's heartbreaking death Annabel Croft and Mel Coleman pictured in 2013 (Image: Tim P. Whitby/Getty Images ) In May 2023, Croft's late husband of 30 years Mel Coleman, passed away after suffering from sepsis. At the time, Coleman was battling stage four colon cancer that had spread throughout his body. Croft told The Telegraph that 97 per cent of his liver was covered with tumours. Only 12 weeks after his diagnosis, he passed away at the age of 60. While it was assumed he had died of cancer, Croft revealed he had actually died of sepsis, which she says may have been caused by a tumour that was perforated while on a flight back from Portugal. Opening up on her husband's death, Croft said: "I have traumatic flashbacks of the day Mel died. During his final hours, as he drifted in and out of consciousness, he started listing instructions like, 'Change the tyre on the van' and then saying to the children, 'Sorry I can't be there for your weddings.' "That memory breaks my heart. After Mel died, it didn't feel real, but as though he was away on a trip and would reappear. Weirdly, the pain of grief feels like it's growing, rather than easing, because of the realisation that he's not coming back.' Stance on dating Croft does not expect to return to the dating scene any time soon (Image: Getty Images ) Coleman's death was just over two years ago, so it is understandable it would still feel raw to her. Croft recently said she did not have the mental headspace to return to the dating scene, saying: " I don't want to be a professional widow, but I'm not ready for another partner.' In another interview with Hello magazine, she affirmed this stance again, stating she has not even thought about that prospect. The Orpington-born star said: "I don't even consider it. My chinwags with the Oasis brothers: what Noel and Liam Gallagher told me
O asis are back, and I'm cashing in. Cashing in socially, anyway. I haven't (yet) found a way to monetise the fact I have interviewed (separately, eight years apart) both Gallagher brothers. A lot of my colleagues weren't even born in 1995 and were only dimly aware until the reunion was announced of who Oasis were. But they know who they are now, that's for damned sure, because they're the hottest ticket of the summer. There is considerable cachet in being able to say airily, 'What? Old Noel and Liam? Yeah, bagged them both back in the day. One-on-one sit-downs, face-to-face. None of your Zoom nonsense in those days, dear me no.' I tend to gloss over the fact that I had met Noel in 2001 and Liam in 2009 respectively, a few and many years past their (What's the Story) Morning Glory?/Knebworth/feud with Blur heyday.

Geri also chose not to post any well wishes to Mel B on social media, adding further fuel to the fire on their rift. It's said Mel B and her new husband, along with their guests, enjoyed a lavish reception at the Shangri-La at The Shard for drinks, food, followed by an evening filled with dancing. Although the couple already enjoyed a ceremony, it has been revealed there will be a second ceremony abroad this summer, which Mel B says will be "more informal, sexy and beautiful". It will act as a second chance for Mel's former bandmates to celebrate her marriage. She told The Sun: "In one incredible afternoon I found two perfect dresses. One beautiful classic dress by Josephine Scott, a British designer, and one stunning dramatic dress by a US designer, Justin Alexander.' Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham, who was notably absent, took a moment to acknowledge Mel's special day via Instagram. Posting a glamorous throwback of the two bandmates, Victoria captioned it with: 'Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx.' Mel C, who was also unable to attend, shared her congratulations online. Posting a happy photo of the bride and groom, she wrote: 'So so happy for you both and beyond gutted I couldn't be there. Excited to celebrate with you really soon. Yipee!' Scary Spice recently took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes image from her special day. Captured from behind in her gown, Mel stood with her back to the camera, revealing the words 'Just Married' delicately embroidered on her dress. Her bridal look featured a gorgeous long veil and pearl embellishments at the collar and cuffs, giving the ensemble a timeless and regal finish. Her husband Rory, 37, opted for a nod to his heritage, wearing a traditional Scottish kilt. The happy couple shared a smooch on the steps of the cathedral before leaving the venue in a white, horse-drawn carriage - a fairy-tale moment for the newlyweds. Guests followed in true British style, riding to the reception in classic red double-decker Routemaster buses.
