Crushology 101 ends with 0% ratings, fans call Roh Jeong Eui starrer ‘forgettable' despite promising start: 'At least it ended'
The romantic drama, based on a well-known webtoon, made a promising debut, starting at 1.3% and briefly peaking at 1.5%. However, it quickly lost steam, dipping into the 0% range and failing to maintain audience interest.
Crushology 101: Interesting plot that failed to deliver
Crushology 101 (written by Sung So Eun and Lee Seul, directed by Kim Ji Hoon) revolved around Ban Hee Jin—nicknamed Bunny or Bani—played by Roh Jeong Eui. Bunny, a top student in Yein University's sculpture department, enters a chaotic chapter in her romantic life after her first heartbreak. Once convinced that personality mattered more than looks, Bunny's dating ideals are shaken when her kind-seeming first boyfriend turns out to be the opposite.
Things go messier when she finds herself caught between multiple charming suitors, including design department golden boy Hwang Jae Yeol (Lee Chae Min) and the chaebol-perfect Cha Ji Won (Jo Joon Young).
There's very little room to go wrong with young adult romances, but despite the visual appeal and intriguing setup, Crushology 101 drama struggled to create long-term emotional investment, marking one of the biggest K-drama flops of 2025.
Crushology 101 finale: Fans express disappointment online
On the r/kdrama subreddit, viewers didn't mince their words in their assessments of the finale. One user wrote bluntly, 'Welp. At least it ended.'
Another shared mixed feelings: 'The last couple of episodes were kinda unbearable… but the last episode was decent. They managed to redeem Yeol, at least. He apologised to Bani. And thankfully, no forced couple ending in the last 10 minutes.'
Several others echoed the sentiment that the drama had potential but ultimately lacked impact. 'Alright but completely forgettable show,' one user said, while another admitted to watching the final episodes at 1.75x speed just to get through them.
Many fans praised Roh Jeong Eui's performance and expressed hope that she lands stronger roles in the future.
'Really only stuck through it because of RJE. Hope her future roles are better and more meaty.'
Following Crushology 101's conclusion, MBC will introduce its next weekend series, Oh My Ghost Clients, a paranormal legal drama featuring Jung Kyung Ho (Crash Course in Romance), Seol In Ah (Business Proposal), and Cha Hak Yeon (Castaway Diva) slated to premiere on May 30.

The Great Indian Kapil Show 3: Rajiv Thakur on making a late entry this season; Kapil jokes ‘You were not invited this time as well'
Season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Show is in full swing, and this week's episode brought in a mix of humour, satire, and a surprise international twist. One of the highlights was comedian Rajiv Thakur 's much-awaited entry into the season—albeit fashionably late. Making a tongue-in-cheek entrance by posing as a 'Superfan' of the show, Rajiv sparked laughter with his opening remark, 'If everyone knows who I am, then why did I come so late in the show?' Kapil Sharma responded in classic Kapil style, 'No, it's not like that. You weren't invited today either. To be honest, they've taken Sidhu paaji, so there were budget constraints.' Rajiv quickly quipped back, 'Sidhu paaji in my budget? Has anyone ever heard of buying almonds in a peanut budget?' The hilarious back-and-forth reminded fans why Rajiv and Kapil's chemistry is so adored. This episode featured actors Jaideep Ahlawat, Vijay Varma, Jitendra Kumar, and Pratik Gandhi, who joined in on the fun and games. But the biggest surprise came when K-pop sensation Jackson Wang made a lively appearance to promote his new song. Jackson didn't just sit through the show—he danced, laughed, and completely immersed himself in the vibe. In a fun moment, Kapil encouraged Pratik Gandhi to teach Jackson some garba moves. Jackson picked them up effortlessly, delighting both the audience and Pratik. This unexpected K-pop meets desi dance-off was a true highlight, earning cheers and applause. Meanwhile, Sunil Grover, in his Diamond Raja avatar, had the audience in splits with his signature dramatic antics. Singing, 'This is my left profile… I know swimming also…', he turned the stage into a mock audition. Soon, all the guests joined in for an impromptu dance party, ending the episode on a high note.
