Dior's Latest Beauty Ambassador Has Been Revealed

Graziadaily22-05-2025
Yesterday, Dior Beauty took to Instagram to tease an exciting announcement. The post in question featured the silhouette of a woman stitched together with fast moving snippets of film. You could see a perfectly glossed lip here and a flick of shiny hair there, but blink and you'd miss it. And the caption didn't give much away either. 'Lights, camera, action...? Something iconic is coming. Are you ready to glow up? Stay tuned' - it said. Trust eagle-eyed beauty fans to recognise the shadowy figure from the subtle clues, though. 'Is that my crush?...I know that voice!' wrote one, while another typed, 'Could this be Jenna Ortega?' And today, the answer was revealed: Jenna Ortega is Dior's latest beauty ambassador.
Ortega has officially been welcomed into the (impossibly chic) Dior family - Anya Taylor-Joy and Jisoo are also ambassadors. The star has made a name for herself as a modern day 'it' girl thanks to her stints in Beetlejuice , and as the iconic Wednesday Addams in Netflix's viral Wednesday . Fans have long suspected a collaboration with a beauty brand may be on the horizon - Ortega's penchant for soft, gothic glamour is no doubt what caught the eye of Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup.
'Jenna Ortega embodies the bold elegance of the House. It is a tailor-made role for this rising star who, through her values and her personality, is already inspiring an entire generation,' Phillips says.
'The House of Dior symbolises audacity, elegance, and timelessness, and being part of it is both incredibly exciting and surreal,' Ortega says of her ambassadorship.
The star is currently gracing the red carpet of Cannes clad head-to-toe in Dior. But it was her May 5th appearance at The Met Gala that turned heads. Created by make-up artist Melanie Inglessis, the make-up stayed true to her signature style. Orterga's eyes were smudged with a blend of charcoal greys and metallic silvers, her skin sculpted to perfection and her lips boldly lined. Her make-up artist, Melanie Inglessis, reveals the products behind her look below: 1.

Married At First Sight star reveals heartbreaking family tragedy: 'I've pushed it down, deep inside'

Married At First Sight's Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Sobinoff has opened up about a family tragedy. The 34-year-old mother-of-two took to social media on Monday to reveal that she suffered a miscarriage. In a heartbreaking post, Lizzie, who appeared on MAFS in 2019 and 2020, said she lost her baby between her first and second child. 'Saying goodbye to a chapter of life that had its ups and downs,' Lizzie captioned her Instagram post. 'It is bittersweet to say goodbye to that chapter of my life. I have my two babies and it is the most beautiful feeling in the world.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. In her post she detailed the circumstances of her terrible loss. 'My babies are 17 months apart,' she began. 'I had a miscarriage between my two pregnancies. I lost a baby. The baby had a strong heartbeat after my first scan... 'Less than 48hrs later I was experiencing a threatened miscarriage. The scan was on a Wednesday and by that Sunday I lost the baby.' Lizzie also shared how she was 'focused' on falling pregnant after her first baby was born and felt there was something 'missing'. 'I couldn't past this,' she confessed, adding, 'Losing the baby, I thought I need to give myself a rest. Around a week and a half later I fell pregnant with my son.' Elsewhere in the post she discussed the impact of her loss. 'I just lost a baby that I wanted so badly,' she said. 'Then I fell pregnant, and I was told this. I hadn't dealt with my emotions. I pushed it down, deep inside. I remember getting the phone call that I was pregnant. My girlfriend was with me and I cried with happiness.' She concluded her post, 'The last few years I've been pregnant. Now I find I'm on the journey of enjoying my children and finding my new identity, other than being pregnant. It is bittersweet. Lizzie was dubbed 'Australia's Most Confident Bride' in season six when she was disastrously paired with groom Sam Ball. The former reality TV star is now happily married to her engineer husband Alex Vega, and is mum to an 18-month-old baby girl and a newborn baby boy who was born in April.

Alex Jones had ‘no idea' about complaints made against Jermaine Jenas

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was removed from the presenting team at BBC's Match Of The Day and The One Show following alleged issues relating to workplace conduct. Before he was sacked in August, Jenas had been a regular pundit on sports programmes and a presenter on BBC Radio 5 Live. Alex Jones attending the 2025 Bafta Television Awards with P&O Cruises at Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall in London (Jordan Pettitt/PA) Jones, 48, who co-presented with Jenas on The One Show, told the Big Issue she did not know about the complaints until he had left. She said: 'I very much take people on face value. But with JJ [Jenas] I didn't know what was going on. 'I had no idea. I thought he was taking extended leave. 'The BBC didn't share with me what was going on until they actually dealt with it. And, you know, they did what they thought was right. 'If that was my daughter and she felt uncomfortable with someone's behaviour, I hope that whatever company she was working for would deal with it swiftly as well.' Jermaine Jenas insists he has taken responsibility for the conduct which led to his dismissal (Nigel French/PA) After being sacked from the BBC, Jenas apologised, saying he had done 'nothing illegal' and that 'inappropriate messages' sent were 'between two consenting adults'. Months later, Jenas' wife, Ellie Penfold, announced the couple had split up after 16 years together. In a statement on her Instagram story, Penfold said: 'I never imagined I would have to share something so personal with the public, but given the situation, I feel it's necessary. 'After 16 years together and 4 wonderful children, Jermaine and I have decided to part ways. 'We will remain friends and continue to co-parent.' Alex Jones and Jason Manford stand outside Western House, London, after appearing on Chris Evans's Radio 2 breakfast show (Fiona Hanson/PA) Jenas returned to broadcasting on TalkSport radio in February after the outlet distanced itself from him in the wake of his departure from the BBC. It is not the first time Jones has had a co-presenter leave The One Show with Jason Manford, who joined the programme at the same time as her in August 2010, resigning only three months into the role for sharing sexual internet messages with female fans. Despite co-presenting on the show for a few months, Jones said she is still 'really good pals' with Manford. – The full interview with Alex Jones can be read in this week's Big Issue, on sale now.
