17 of the best pictures as hundreds parade the streets of Cardiff for Grangetown Festival 2025
The community festival has been running for over 45 years, which includes a parade through the city streets as well as stalls and activities set up for all of the family. The event shows the strength of the people in Grangetown, celebrating each other and local businesses.
In 2001 the festival was held at Grange Gardens and ever since it has remained, where it was held this weekend.
Hundreds of people gathered, walking the streets of Cardiff with banners and signs while all dressed up in colourful clothing and costumes.

The former French Open winner then spent three decades hosting the BBC's broadcast coverage of the iconic tournament. But there was one incident that saw her breach the strict All England Club protocol. Barker revealed in her book Wimbledon, A Personal History that she made the blunder during the opening ceremony of the Centre Court retractable roof in 2009.
