There's no denying that Robbie Williams has bangers. From 'Millenium', to 'Angels', to that one where he ripped his own skin off in the music video ('Rock DJ', of course), Ar Robbie has been entertaining the British public for decades. He is, by all accounts, a legend – so, if you're headed to his live show, you're pretty much guaranteed to have a great time.
The Britpop Tour, which coincides with his new album of the same name, will be playing massive stadiums across Europe all summer, and it's already kicked off here in the UK. Robbie's already hit Edinburgh and London, and Manchester is next on the agenda

Who's supporting Robbie Williams at Co-Op Live?
So far, Robbie has been supported on tour by Manchester's own Lottery Winners and deep-voiced chart topper Rag 'n' Bone Man. So, don't be surprised if there's a couple other sneaky little additions.
Setlist
Robbie's setlist has remained largely the same thus far (save from a few additions to accommodate special guests) so it's a pretty safe bet that the Manchester shows will contain largely the same songs. Frankly, it's a setlist full of wall-to-wall bops, so if it ain't broke…

Sam Fender and Chappell Roan bring £1.2bn boost to North West after tours

Artists including Sam Fender, Chappell Roan and the Foo Fighters played sold-out shows in Manchester, Liverpool and across the North West in 2024, helping to boost music tourism Sam Fender, Chappell Roan and the Foo Fighters rocked the North West's music scene, contributing to a staggering £1.2 billion surge in music tourism last year, a new report has highlighted. In 2024, live gigs attracted 3.3 million music revellers, including international fans, with electrifying performances in Manchester, Liverpool, and other hotspots. The region resonated with tunes from diverse genres, featuring Sam Fender at Co-op Live, Chappell Roan rocking out at Manchester Academy, and the Foo Fighters thrilling crowds at Emirates Old Trafford. Festivals like Parklife, Creamfields and Beat-Herder also played host to hordes of music enthusiasts descending on the North West. ‌ UK Music's Tuesday report shed light on the commercial boon, pointing out that these sonic adventures supported roughly 9,250 full-time jobs across the sector. Ticket sales, food and drink, merchandise, venue parking, camping fees, accommodation, and travel expenses all contributed to the hefty economic lift from music tourists. ‌ Nationwide, the number of "music tourists" hit a high note with about 21.9 million Brits travelling well beyond their average commute for a spot of live music escapism. Taylor Swift's Eras Tour took the limelight, but a further 1.6 million international visitors also jetted in, lured by the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Burna Boy, according to the illuminating study. The report has revealed a record-breaking £10 billion boost to the UK economy in 2024, with 23.5 million music tourists flocking to the country, marking a high note for the industry's post-pandemic recovery. Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy celebrated the nation's vibrant live music scene, stating: "Whether it's a massive stadium show or a packed-out local venue, music is bringing people together and making a huge difference. We're incredibly proud of our music industry. It's one of our greatest exports, it inspires young people everywhere, and it's part of who we are as a country." She also highlighted the Government's commitment to the arts with the recent announcement of a £30 million "music growth package" aimed at nurturing new talent and safeguarding venues, ensuring the music scene continues to thrive and scale new heights. ‌ Tom Kiehl, chief executive of UK Music, however, pointed out that despite the sector's economic triumphs, there are still significant financial hurdles to overcome. "While music generates huge benefits for our local areas, there remain a number of challenges facing our sector, such as the rising cost of touring for artists and the threat of closure looming over venues, studios and other music spaces," Mr Kiehl commented. "From Land's End to John O'Groats, all communities have the potential for thriving and diverse music sectors and can offer something unique. At a time when Government is seeking growth, it is crucial to empower local leaders to make this happen to help boost our artists, creators, venues, studios and music businesses." ‌ The report introduces the local music action charter, which UK Music said will "help councils and combined authorities create locally tailored music strategies aligned with their specific priorities". Councillor Liz Green, chairwoman of the Local Government Association's culture, tourism and sport board, commented: "These record-breaking figures show just how important live music is - not just for our local economies, but for the happiness of our communities. "The report is a timely reminder that investing in local music isn't just good sense – it's a way to boost pride in place and breathe new life into our high streets. We're committed to working with local partners to make sure music continues to thrive in every corner of the UK."

I partied with celebs at Glasto & caught Harry Styles snogging mystery girl – this is what VIP area is REALLY like

THE clock is ticking towards 2.30am on Sunday, and I'm standing in a VIP boozer at Glastonbury watching Davina McCall throwing shapes on the dancefloor. She was having the time of her life with her pals and partner Michael Douglas - who all had far more energy than I did at that time of night. 8 Harry Styles shared a passionate kiss with a mystery woman at Glastonbury Credit: The Sun 8 The Sun's Amir Razavi caught Harry on camera - after enjoying drinks in the VIP bars with the likes of Davina McCall 8 After a weekend of boozing with the stars, Amir is home recovering 8 Pop superstar Harry arriving at the Worthy Farm festival Credit: The Sun TV presenter Davina went unnoticed by other revellers, as did the even more famous man who was dancing just a few feet away from them - pop superstar Harry Styles. Although that may be because he was tucked away wearing a grey jumper with his shades on, locking lips for 12 seconds with a frizzy-haired young woman. I captured the passionate moment on camera after my colleague and I spotted former One Direction singer Harry, 31, shuffling into the bar moments earlier. They had arrived separately but seemed to already be well-acquainted. Might this have been going on for longer, or was it just a Glastonbury romance? Time will tell. I saw them holding hands as they made their way to the dancefloor, where they partied discreetly with the music pumping, before kissing and then going their separate ways for the evening. The bar itself - the name of which I'll keep a secret - is full of bright lights while the dance area is just a tiny, dark room. It has a cool vibe and is one of the most popular haunts among celebs. Most importantly, it has plenty of booze and good tunes to keep them going. There are certainly more luxurious VIP areas on Worthy Farm, though, and all of them are swarming with A-listers. I'm fortunate enough to get access to these places through my job. Harry Styles Lights Up Glastonbury Dancing and Hugging Fans Everywhere! And one of the things that strikes me most about this weird and wonderful festival is that so many of those stars can party all day and night without even being spotted. Even when it is supermodel Cara Delevingne, who was walking around Silvers Bar in the hospitality area in a Robbie Williams-inspired bright red Adidas tracksuit on Sunday night. Or Hollywood star Paul Mescal and his American singer girlfriend Gracie Abrams - who performed on the Other Stage on Friday - out raving in one tent in the early hours. There was one moment when I was sitting on a bench outside Silvers Bar, sipping a cider and people watching, when I turned around to see Davina and her pals had perched themselves alongside me. Many celebs will stop for selfies with fans, some won't. I had actually bumped into Harry on Friday evening, chatting away to lots of people and shaking their hands. I thought I would ask him for a quick selfie to add to the Glastonbury scrapbook. He replied, in the most polite tone: "Do you mind if we don't?" Harry then asked for my name and shook my hand before continuing with his evening. It was only a very brief encounter, but he was one of the most well-mannered and charming celebs I have met. You can see why fans - and no doubt the woman he was kissing - adore him. He has got it all: the looks, the style, the talent and personality. This was Harry's first time at Glastonbury, but hopefully it will not be his last. Next year is a fallow year, so roll on 2027. Hopefully I'll have recovered by then. 8 Harry was spotted kissing the glamorous woman in a VIP area Credit: The Sun 8 Paul and Gracie were seen embracing after her set and partied until 3am 8 Daisy Edgar-Jones was seen watching Gracie Abrams at Glastonbury
