Kanye West's Cousins lyrics and relative who was 'jailed for murder'

Daily Mirror22-04-2025
Controversial rapper Kanye West has dropped a new track titled Cousins as he claims it is about an incestuous relationship with a male cousin who is now jailed for murder
Kanye West has sparked a storm of controversy once again and this time for his latest track, Cousins, which features some incredibly shocking lyrics. The rapper, who has pulled a series of headline-grabbing stunts in recent months, has now caused jaws to drop with revelations about his troubled childhood.
While promoting his new track Cousins, Kanye made a claim about having incestuous relationship with a male cousin when he was a child. In a post on X, he said the pair would "act out" what they saw in pornographic magazines.

He also shared a snippet of the song, which featured blurred visuals and semi-pornographic images stitched together. Kanye, who is also known as Ye, claims the cousin is now serving a life sentence for murder.
The song has sparked an intense response online after it was released on Monday. Cousins is an explicit track which claims to detail a harrowing experience from Kayne's past.
Introducing the song on X, he wrote: "This song is called COUSINS about my cousin that's locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn't 'look at dirty magazines together' anymore.
"Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw.
"My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my moms closet were different"

The song kicks off: "I saw you outside again, just hanging out with your friends. Hanging with my cousin, reading dirty magazines."
He continues: "Then we start re-enacting everything that we had seen. That's when I gave my cousin head, gave my cousin head. Gave my cousin head, I gave my cousin head. I gave my cousin head."
It continued: "Told my cousin not to tell nobody (Please, no, don't tell nobody). People tell me take it to my grave. 'Truth will set you free someday'. I don't think they understand That I'm not attracted to a man (They thought I was gay)."

Kanye has never disclosed the identity of the relative but previously spoke of an incarcerated cousin during an interview in 2018. Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel, he said: "My cousin is locked up for murder and I love him. So he did a bad thing, but I still love him."
Five years ago, his ex wife Kim Kardashian mentioned an incarcerated cousin in Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project. The only thing known about the cousin was the fact he was convicted of murder at the age of 17.
Speaking to Marc Howard, president of the Frederick Douglass Project for Justice and director of Georgetown University's Prisons and Justice Initiative, Kim explained: "[Kanye's] cousin has a double life sentence for a murder that he committed when he was 17."

Diane von Furstenberg's granddaughter Talita reveals she's engaged to marry her Italian banker boyfriend after six years of dating

Socialite Talita von Furstenberg has revealed she's engaged to her long-term boyfriend Rocco Brignone de Brabant. The 26-year-old is the granddaughter of celebrated Belgian fashion designer Diane - who has an estimated fortune of $300 million and is best known for her 'magic' wrap dress. Taking to Instagram on Friday, Talita wrote: 'Forever!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you so much my heart is bursting.' She shared a stunning and intimate image of the two of them gazing at one another while standing by the ocean - with her glamorous sparkler on full view. Wearing a chic white slip dress, Talita also shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the romantic setting, showing a table laid with flowers amid the gorgeous backdrop. Her grandmother Diane also shared a selfie of the couple looking ecstatic and gushed: 'Talita and Rocco are ENGAGED!!! ❤️❤️❤️ He proposed. She accepted ! Join me in wishing them a happy joyful life together ❤️❤️❤️❤️ LOVE is LIFE ❤️.' Talita and Italian banking scion Rocco have been dating for six years, frequently sharing loved-up snaps on social media. Her grandmother previously called Talita her 'muse' and the rising style star is now following in the designer's footsteps. Having inherited her grandmother's passion for design, she is being groomed to one day take over the Diane von Furstenberg business, believed to be worth millions. Talita grew up in Los Angeles before moving to the East Coast in 2017 to attend Georgetown University with her cousin, fellow royal Prince Alexios of Greece. But she later transferred to New York University to study fashion business and marketing. Rocco meanwhile comes from an Italian banking family who own a private estate resort in Costalegre, Mexico, called Costa Careyes. The young fashion designer was born into a very elite circle. Princess Talita is the eldest daughter of interior designer Alexandra (née Miller) and her ex-husband Prince Alexander von Furstenberg, son of Diane and her ex-husband Prince Egon von Fürstenberg. Her royal heritage comes from her grandfather, German aristocrat Prince Egon, who was married to Diane for 14 years. Diane and the royal, who passed away in 2004, had two children during their marriage: Prince Alexander von Fürstenberg, Talita's father, and Princess Tatiana von Fürstenberg. Talita remains particularly close to her royal cousin Princess Olympia of Greece with the pair frequently jetting off together. Her famous grandmother Diana was also quick to share a gushing message But despite her royal association, Talita previously revealed how she avoided using her title growing up in Los Angeles because she didn't want people to 'freak out' when they met her. Speaking in an interview with UK-based magazine Hello, Talita added that the situation might have been different if she had been raised in Europe, where there is a better 'understanding' of royalty. 'It doesn't make sense for me because I didn't grow up in Europe, it is still my title, but I think that Americans don't understand about being a princess in the same way that you guys do,' she said. 'In LA, where I grew up, if I said I was a princess people would freak out. I didn't think I could claim that title for myself.' Nevertheless, Talita's family ties have left her well connected. During the pandemic, despite travel restrictions, Talita appeared to join grandmother Diane and her husband Barry Diller on a trip to Spain's party island of Ibiza, facilitated by Diller's $150million 305-foot yacht Eos. Diller, founded internet and media conglomerate IAC, is said to be worth $4.4billion, according to Forbes, and is a useful connection for the rising star to have. And the fashion designer herself has not shied away from the limelight. She has often been seen gracing the front rows of fashion shows and society parties including us being a frequent face at the Met Gala in New York City. Her social movements are reminiscent of her mother Alexandra, who was a firm fixture on the Nineties New York social scene along with her sisters Pia Getty and Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece. In recent years Talita has unveiled her own chic clothing ranges, admitting she doesn't discuss her design ideas with her famous grandmother Diane. 'We try to be separate when I'm designing, just because I obviously value her opinion so much, but she designs for an older client and has a different taste to me, and I would hate for her opinion to alter the shape of the collection because ultimately the collection is supposed to reflect my more youthful taste,' she previously told the Daily Mail. 'Every time she sees [my dresses] in the studio she's like, "Urgh what is this?" I'm like, "Just trust me. You'll like it at the end, people will like it". 'She always ends up liking it when I wear it, but when she sees it on the rack she's like, "Oh this is horrible".' Talita added: 'In everything else besides the design aspect, I rely on her opinion so much – she's literally the best, most wise person to ask, so I really value her opinion on TVF branding, and on distribution now I'm going into the wholesale market.' Talita has since been named co-chairwoman of the fashion brand as part of the company's restructuring over the past few years, while Gabby Hirata was brought on as DVF's new president and CEO. 'For me, what I hope is that [my successors] will maintain the spirit and the attitude,' Diane told The Wall Street Journal last year. 'Right now I'm putting all of my archive, all of my 50 years of experience, into this huge vault with the codes and the tricks and the knowhow and all of that. 'Then it's in the hands of young people — my granddaughter, Gabby, whoever else works here — to do it, respecting the values and not trying to be something that we aren't. 'DVF is about respecting the woman and giving her the tools to be the woman she wants to be.' Speaking about the possibility of heading up the family's fashion empire, Talita previously told Daily Mail that doing so would be a real honor. 'It's a really special, strong DNA brand,' she said. 'I'm still learning and don't want to take that position until I fully think I'm confident enough to do it, and I'm learning, that's what TVF is. 'Hopefully one day I can [take over] because DVF is a pretty extraordinary brand that's one dress for so long and it's still selling, so it's a pretty crazy business model when you look into it. 'All the DNA and history of the brand is really, it's a really special brand. When I go into the archives and see all the dresses, I could pull out a dress and it could still be worn today, almost every single one of them.' Talita previously posted a series of snaps from her holiday in Hawaii with Rocco. The care-free couple looked to be having the time of their lives as they playfully danced on an island, rode horses along a sandy beach and clambered up mountain trails with breath-taking views. But Talita is no stranger to giving her growing fan base an insight into her enviable lifestyle as she prepares to take the reins of her family's fashion empire. But it is not the first time that Talita has left her 218,000 followers green with envy by flaunting her busy travel schedule. The fashion heiress has frequently spent her summer vacations from university with lavish trips across the globe. In 2018, she kicked off her travels with a trip to Utah with her father, Prince Alexander von Furstenberg, at the Amangiri - a remote five-star resort in Canyon Point. But that was only the beginning, and, in just two months, Talita had also visited Spain, Austria, Israel, France and Greece, posting a trail of snapshots to document each destination. The following year she was at it again - this time exploring Mexico, the Mediterranean and Japan alongside her family. Although the pandemic seemingly slowed down her travelling exploits temporarily, it seems that Talita is now back galivanting, all while juggling her position in her grandmother's fashion empire.

Kanye West posts disturbing selfie as wife Bianca Censori's Instagram is 'HACKED'

Kanye West dropped a chilling selfie to his Instagram as his wife Bianca Censori revealed her own account has been repeatedly targeted by hackers. A disturbing photo appeared to capture the controversial rapper, 48, shielded behind a perforated green mask with a hoodie thrown over his head. His Instagram Stories also contained various other mysterious artwork, including a photo of what seemed to be Kanye walking through an empty scene as a white dove flew overhead along with snaps from his recent concert in South Korea. At around the same time Kanye - who recently denied shock allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking made by his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta - posted the photo, his wife, 30, warned fans a security breach had occurred on her own account. 'This account has been subject to recurring hacks,' Bianca simply wrote. 'Anything strange is not me.' The most recent photos on Bianca's Instagram account were of the sexy snaps Kanye took of her last year. The images showed the brunette posing in white lace lingerie while posing in her hotel room in Japan in shots which were taken in October last year. In the shoot, she boosted her petite frame with a pair of stilettos and wore her blonde locks in a bouncy blown out style, which covered her pretty features. She was in various stages of undress in the photos, which saw her wear different sexy looks, including a plush white coat. One sizzling shot saw her crawling across the plush cream carpet on her hands and knees in a very seductive fashion. Revealing that it was her husband behind the lens, she wrote in the caption: 'Japan October 2024 shot by @ye.' Ever since they secretly tied the knot in 2022, Bianca has consistently shocked fans with the barely-there ensembles her husband styles for her. It comes amid recent reports that Kanye pays Bianca to wear some of her head-turning looks. It was claimed last month that Kanye chooses her daring looks to not only aid in keeping his 'edgy persona' but to also show that his wife is 'the sexiest woman alive', according to a source who spoke with The U.S. Sun. The source stated that while some of the outfits she wears in public 'aren't to her taste' - she has since learned how to make it an 'advantage.' 'Bianca has figured out how to turn all this into her advantage. A lot of the outfits aren't to her taste. But she tells him she will wear them - if she's paid.' The Heartless rapper had allegedly offered Bianca a salary wage to don head-turning ensembles, but she turned that down, and instead requested that she be paid based on each look. The source added that they believe Bianca has made around $3 million due to the deal and said, 'She's essentially monetizing her image.' One outfit that she reportedly was paid $120k to wear was the naked dress ensemble at the 2025 Grammy Awards back in February.

Beyoncé shares a kiss with husband Jay-Z as he makes a surprise return to the stage to perform with her at final Cowboy Carter show in Las Vegas

Beyoncé and Jay-Z shared a sweet moment on stage as she brought the curtain down on her record-breaking Cowboy Carter tour on Saturday night in Las Vegas. As she took to the stage for her final show at Las Vegas ' Allegiant Stadium, the American singer, 43, surprised fans by bringing out her husband, 55, for his rap verse in Crazy in Love. Beyoncé stepped aside during the hit song for her husband to perform, before strutting up to Jay-Z to share a sweet kiss in front of the 90,000 fans. The couple, who have been married since 2008 and share three children, looked happier than ever on stage together. Jay-Z couldn't contain his smile after finishing the track as he shared a smooch with the Grammy-award winner, before going into his hit 2011 song N***** in Paris, which was originally a collaboration with Kanye West. However, the rappers are currently in the middle of tense feud, following Kanye's shocking tweets attacking Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and their young children. Beyoncé looked sensational in a dazzling blue bodysuit which she teamed with coordinated navy and silver chaps. Elevating her frame in a pair of silver sparkling heels, the Single Ladies hitmaker added a white cowboy hat to complete her western costume. Meanwhile Jay-Z kept it cool in an all black ensemble complete with a leather jacket and a pair of Timberland boots. This is not the first time the mother-of-three has brought out Jay-Z during her tour after she surprised fans by bringing him out in Paris during her third and final show in the French city. Elsewhere during the Vegas gig, Beyoncé reunited with her Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for a medley of 2000s hits, Bootylicious and Lose My Breath. The trio also delivered a rendition of Beyonce's Renaissance number Energy, including the song's viral 'mute challenge.' It was the first time Destiny's Child had performed together since Kelly and Michelle made a brief cameo in Beyonce's Coachella performance back in 2018, following their split in 2005. It was no surprise that the performance sent die-hard fans into a frenzy, with many declaring it the 'perfect ending' to Beyonce's tour. Watching on from the VIP area was Oprah Winfrey and Gayle King who sang along to the concert with new BFF Kris Jenner. It comes after Beyonce's tour was plagued with a string of incidents from poor ticket sales, on-stage tech malfunctions to choreography issues. Beyoncé recently concluded her epic six-night concern run in London and her shows in Paris. She closed out the European leg of her Cowboy Carter tour and brought out her husband to perform their hit single Crazy in Love in the French capital as the couple took the stage together for the first time in seven years. Her concert in France was a family affair as she was also joined by their daughter Blue Ivy on stage and had her mom Tina Knowles supporting them. After performing in cities around Europe, Beyonce performed in her hometown of Houston, Texas and experienced a horrifying moment when she suffered a stage mishap with a mid-air prop. At one point during her show on June 29, the red convertible she rides high above the crowd during her performance of 16 Carriages tilted dangerously, threatening to throw the Cowboy Carter artist off the car and into the audience. Still, Beyoncé returned to the main stage and finished the performance like the consummate professional she is. After the show, Beyoncé's team released a statement addressing the incident. 'Tonight in Houston, at NRG Stadium, a technical mishap caused the flying car, a prop Beyoncé uses to circle the stadium, and see her fans up close, to tilt.
