A MASSIVE gamble is building on the world's best horse - as bookies fear a punter onslaught at Sandown on Saturday.

No other horse on the planet can match that.
And, worryingly for his rivals, Thady says the Godolphin-owned colt is getting even better.
Ombudsman left his rivals for dead with a devastating turn of foot in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot last month.
And Paddy Power report it being one-way traffic in the betting ahead of the £1million Coral-Eclipse.
Ombudsman is all set to run - renewing his partnership with William Buick despite his 2,000 Guineas winner Ruling Court being among the list of potential runners too.
Victory for Ombudsman, who Paddy think could go off odds-on having been pumped in from 13-8 to 11-8 to evens, would be a killer for bookies.
They enjoyed a stellar Royal Ascot with a number of fancied runners getting turned over, memorably thanks to big-price winners such as 33-1 Cercene and 25-1 Time For Sandals.
But punters will be baying for blood in the 1m2f Group 1 at the Surrey track.
Paddy's Paul Binfield said: "Ombudsman has really been the only horse that anyone has wanted since we adjusted the market at the five-day stage, arguably because of doubts about some of his possible rivals actually turning up on the Esher slopes and it's now very possible that he'll go off a shade of odds-on on the actual day."
Race sponsors Coral currently hold the biggest price at 6-4 but that has been clipped in too.
The firm's David Stevens said: "Although we don't yet know the final line-up for Saturday's first ever £1m Coral-Eclipse, we do know it's all systems go with Ombudsman.
"And following his impressive Royal Ascot victory, he's the clear pick with punters at this stage."
Thady, who trains alongside his legendary dad John, was confident in the colt's ability speaking on Tuesday.
He said: "He has come out of Royal Ascot in very good order and only had one run beforehand this season at Sandown in the Brigadier Gerard when he was second to Almaqam.
"He hasn't had a hard season or really a hard career so far so we thought why not go for this?
"The Prince Of Wales's was a very tough race with a lot of Group One horses in there.
"He is still relatively inexperienced and that was his first run in a Group One.
"We always thought he had the potential to be a horse of the class he has turned out to be and we found that out on the day at Ascot.
"He had a few traffic problems at Ascot but luckily has that turn of foot that Night Of Thunder seems to give them and he picked up really well.
"He has plenty of speed – he's always had it. He has improved with every start and got the mile and a quarter well last time."

‘The perfect fit' – Kia Joorabchian snaps up ‘fantastic' trainer to head up Amo Racing's historic yard
They're building a squad for years to come BIG MOVE 'The perfect fit' – Kia Joorabchian snaps up 'fantastic' trainer to head up Amo Racing's historic yard Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) KIA JOORABCHIAN has snapped up a 'fantastic' young trainer to head up Amo Racing's historic yard. The football superagent says Kevin Philippart de Foy is the 'perfect fit' for the multi-million pound operation's base at the famous Freemason Lodge in Newmarket. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 Trainer Kevin Philippart de Foy will lead the Amo Racing operation out of its historic Freemason Lodge Credit: PA The former home of the now-retired Sir Michael Stoute, Philippart de Foy, 33, will now run the stables as retained trainer for Amo. He will take over from Raphael Freire, who will become Amo's private trainer. Philippart de Foy was selected following a 'detailed selection process' and will be tasked with turning big-money purchases into winners on the track. Joorabchian said: ""First, I'd like to welcome Kevin Philippart de Foy as our new trainer at Freemason Lodge. "evin is a fantastic horseman who understands our goals and shares our ambition. "Having known and worked with him for several years, it makes this transition even smoother. "We know his character fits and our ideas align perfectly. "We believe he's the right person to take the operation to the next level, and we're excited about what's ahead with him leading the team at this historic yard. "At the same time, I want to say a big thank you to Raphael for stepping up and doing such a brilliant job getting Freemason up and running. "His work over the past few months has been crucial, and he's laid a solid foundation for the future. "Raphael has been a big part of Amo Racing's journey so far, and he continues to be an integral part of our team moving forward." While Belgian-born Philippart de Foy added: "I am deeply honoured to have been entrusted with the responsibility of taking over at Freemason Lodge and training such an exciting string of horses for Amo Racing. "This is a major milestone in my career, and I'm incredibly grateful to Kia and the team for the opportunity. "Amo Racing's investment and ambition in the sport are truly inspiring, and I look forward to playing my part in what I hope will be a very successful journey together." Joorabchian is making big moves to lay the groundwork for what should be a huge few years for Amo. No1 jockey David Egan - who just the other day landed a 10,373-1 Wolverhampton four-timer - recently signed a contract extension. And he should have some exceptional talent to get to grips with over the coming months. Amo are famed for spending huge sums at the sales, taking on the established order such as Godolphin and Coolmore. Joorabchian recently landed the Clive Cox-trained Ghostwriter for £2million and saw him finish a very encouraging third to Rebel's Romance in the Hardwicke at Royal Ascot. Anthony Joshua vows to take heavyweight division ‘by storm' in boxing return and reveals reason for YEAR long break
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) ANTHONY JOSHUA is ready to take the heavyweight division by storm after finally giving his beaten up body a break. AJ - who only started boxing aged 18 before winning Olympic gold just four years later - looks set for over a year out of the ring. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 Daniel Dubois knocked out Anthony Joshua in September Credit: Getty He was knocked out by Daniel Dubois in September but snubbed a rematch to instead undergo surgery on his elbow. An extended holiday in the Middle East and Africa then followed for Joshua - who let his body heal properly for the first time in his career. But speaking at the unveiling of Matchroom Boxing's rebranding - the two-time heavyweight champion is plotting an explosive comeback. He said: "I took a year out, first time in about 12 to 13 years as a professional, not even including the amateur stuff. READ MORE IN BOXING NO JOSHING Jake Paul plots talks with AJ in New York with YouTube star 'adamant' on fight "But I took a year out, get my body right. I'm at a different stage in my career where I can look at time a bit differently. "I'm all these years in front of me like the main man here, so I gotta make like really executive decisions about what I do next. "So the minute I come back, you know I'll come back with a bang rather than just keep rolling through and just going with the motions of the sport. "I just thought, let me take some time out so when I do come back I come back fully active and ready to go and take the division by storm again." CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS Joshua saw a blockbuster Battle of Britain bout with Tyson Fury go up in smoke after the Gypsy King announced his retirement in January. That came after two losses to Oleksandr Usyk, 38, in 2024 with Fury, 36, so far sticking to his word despite a repeated history in returning. Jake Paul's team plot talks with Anthony Joshua in New York So Joshua's next best option is Deontay Wilder - who bounced back from two losses to beat Tyrrell Herndon in his comeback fight. AJ's promoter Eddie Hearn has already been in talks with Wilder's manager Shelly Finkel over a shock bout with Dave Allen. And with Joshua eyeing a return before the year closes - Hearn confirmed they would go straight into a mega-fight with Wilder. He added: "I think it's a great fight. I mean there's jeopardy in it, it's dangerous. Originally I was speaking to Shelly about Dave Allen. "I kind of get the feeling that Wilder wants to get a few fights under the belt, get a bit of confidence back. "I think it's great to see him returning, it's really important that Deontay is still in the heavyweight division. "AJ I will be here tonight. We've just started pinging a few opponents backwards and forwards, nothing really to talk about, but you will see AJ in the ring, November or December." Joshua, 35, and Wilder, 39, were once close to agreeing a huge undisputed title decider before rival broadcasters and promoters got in the way. Saudi boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh then tried to revive the bout last year. But after Wilder was beaten by Joseph Parker on points and knocked out by Zhilei Zhang - once again the clash was KO'd. Wilder is now plotting another confidence-building tune-up bout - with Hearn hoping the fight with Joshua can be revived once more. He said: "That's the kind of fight you announce and it just gets bigger and bigger and bigger because there's huge jeopardy in it, two massive punchers, both guys have defeats on their resume recently and yeah, important that they keep on winning."

Ally McCoist sets deadline for Rangers to be competing with Celtic domestically – and it isn't ‘three to five years'
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) RANGERS hero Ally McCoist has told his former club they MUST be battling it out with Celtic for the major domestic honours well before the "three to five year" deadline envisaged by Sir David Murray. The club's former owner warned fans they need to be patient with the club's new bosses when he sat down exclusively with SunSport's Roger Hannah at the weekend. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 3 Rangers head coach Russell Martin Credit: PA 3 Ally McCoist Credit: Willie Vass But McCoist knows that patience amongst the club's fanbase is always limited - and has told new boss Russell Martin and the Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises regime in the boardroom that they need to be competitive well before that. Celtic have snapped up the last four titles in a row, and would dearly love to make it a full unbroken decade of domestic dominance. Responding to a jibe from Celtic-daft co-host Alan Brazil that their initial £20m investment in the first team "isn't a lot", McCoist told TalkSPORT: "No, it's not. "But it goes a lot further in Scotland than it does in England, that goes without saying. "The ex chairman is spot on [about the new owners], you can see they way they've run Leeds, they've taken their time and not gone crazy. "They've obviously had great success last season and I think the Rangers fans would absolutely settle for that. "But I would certainly hope you would be competing domestically with Celtic well before the three or five years, I would, 100%. "I think you've got to be realistic and say Celtic are still the team to beat. "What did they win the title by last season? Seventeen points, very very comfortably. "Celtic have been a great success the last two years, some great performances in Europe in the Champions League, without any real competition domestically. Rangers transfer special including Metinho chase, Rothwell latest and Igamane fee "And that is what has to change from Rangers' point of view. Europe is great but Europe is a bonus at this moment in time. Certainly I think Rangers have to get their act together domestically and be back competing against Celtic on a regular basis." Brazil, however, had a last warning, saying of Dermot Desmond: "He could just write a cheque now from his petty cash for £20m if he wished. "But he doesn't do that. "He makes Celtic generate their money but if he has to he will." 3 Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
