"Disappointed' Gogglebox fans slammed the third episode of the new Channel 4 series.
Friday's installment (February 28) saw our favourite 'armchair critics' share their amusing thoughts and opinions on the week's most popular programmes, including Britain's Got Talent, Celebrity Hunted, Coronation Street and Michael McIntyre's Big Show to name a few.
But some viewers said it was 'weird' that Channel 4 didn't show the Gogglebox cast reacting to a recent BBC programme described as a 'phenomenal performance'.

It comes as many asked why EastEnders hadn't been featured last night, particularly for its 40th anniversary efforts.
Someone commented on X, formerly Twitter: 'Wow would of thought @C4Gogglebox would of watched #EastEnders40 quite disappointed they didn't comment it in as it was a phenomenal performance #gogglebox.'
This soap fan asked: 'Why does gogglebox never react to Eastenders just Corrie. Thought they may have reacted to the 40th Anniversary episodes. #Gogglebox.'
One said: 'Weird that gogglebox haven't shown EastEnders for it's 40th anniversary #Gogglebox.'
In agreement, another posted: '#gogglebox not reacting to any #Eastenders is so weird.'
Last month, the BBC aired several special episodes to celebrate four decades of EastEnders.

At the end of the live show on February 20, Martin Fowler played by James Bye was killed off – he died of a cardiac arrest after suffering crushed syndrome when a beam, which landed on him after an explosion in the Queen Vic, was lifted from his midriff.
Just before the beam was removed, he had successfully proposed to Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), and they had kissed, before Stacey told him: 'It's going to be all right.'
Gogglebox continues on Friday, March 7 from 9pm on Channel 4.

Taskmaster Season 20 Cast: 5 Celebrities On The New Line-Up Announced

The five celebrities taking part in the next season of the hit comedy competition series Taskmaster have been unveiled. On Thursday evening, Channel 4 revealed the line-up for the Bafta-winning show's 20th run, which will air later this year. Joining the cast this time around will be The League Of Gentlemen and Inside No. 9 creator Reece Shearsmith and the comedian and actor Sanjeev Bhaskar, best known for his roles in shows like Goodness Gracious Me, The Kumars At No. 42 and Unforgotten. They'll be joined by stand-up comedians Maisie Adam, Ania Magliano, and Phil Ellis. A Channel 4 press release teased: 'The almighty Taskmaster Greg Davies and his faithful admin keeper Alex Horne have gathered some of the most brilliant and eclectic comedy minds and assigned them one mission: to become a Taskmaster Champion.' No release date for the 20th series of Taskmaster has been given, but Channel 4 has insisted that more information will be 'revealed in due course'. The last season of Taskmaster aired over several weeks earlier in the year, featuring appearances from the likes of Rosie Ramsey, Jason Mantzoukas, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Stevie Martin, and Matthew Baynton. It's now been almost 10 years since Taskmaster first aired on Dave in 2015, before making the move to Channel 4 four years later, quickly going on to become one of the broadcaster's most popular shows. Back in 2020, it won a Bafta in the Best Comedy Entertainment Programme, beating competition from The Graham Norton Show, The Last Leg and The Ranganation, and was nominated in the same category once again earlier this year. Taskmaster has also spawned several international remakes in territories like Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Canada, with varying levels of success, while a live experience inspired by the show launched in London last year, before closing in February.

Maisie Smith details how life has changed since boyfriend Max George's devastating open heart surgery

Soap star-turned-musical theatre actress Maisie Smith has got a new outlook on life after witnessing her boyfriend Max George go through his harrowing health ordeal. The Wanted singer Max has undergone heart surgery twice over the past year after being diagnosed with an atrioventricular block, which caused his heart to beat abnormally. Stopping for a chat with new during the Tric Awards at JW Marriott Grosvenor House hotel in London last month, Maisie, who turns 24 this week, says her boyfriend's health struggles have not only strengthened their tight bond, but transformed the choices they make in life. 'It has just made us realise how important life is and how much we've just got to live in the moment – you never know what's around the corner,' says Maisie. 'We're definitely more impulsive now and we know that anything is possible.' Maisie, who rose to fame for her role in EastEnders, which she made her debut in at just six years old, has been in a relationship with Max since 2022. The couple met in 2020 while competing on Strictly Come Dancing, striking up a friendship during the show, which saw Maisie reach the final alongside her professional dance partner Gorka Márquez. Max may not have been as successful on the dancefloor (he was voted out of Strictly in week four), but he did find lasting love with Maisie beyond the show and the pair eventually moved in together in Max's hometown, Manchester. However, in what has been an undeniably scary year for the couple, Max underwent surgery in December when his heart condition left him in need of a pacemaker. Following the operation, Max, 36, described the pacemaker as the 'best Christmas present' he could have received. But after complications from the first surgery, he was forced to go back for another procedure two months later. Sharing that it was successful, Max said at the time, 'It turned out that one of the leads was placed too far into my heart. The second pacemaker surgery took about two hours. So far, it seems to have been a success and they kindly let me listen to Oasis the whole time. It's been a setback, but it's just one of those things. I've had a few complications the last couple of months but I'm having loads of tests to make sure everything is all good. I'm sure I'll be back on top form in no time.' Maisie is clearly hugely relieved that everything is OK with him. 'Max is good – he's getting stronger every day,' she says. 'I'm so proud of how he's handled it too.' As we ask whether the situation has brought them any closer, Maisie laughs, saying, 'It was pretty hard for us to get any closer to be honest – we've always been inseparable.' Sharing that they're heading to France for a getaway this summer, it seems things are finally looking up for the duo. What began as a Strictly friendship, blossomed into romance after the pair grew closer on the show's live arena tour. Their series of Strictly was broadcast during the height of Covid, with social distancing restrictions in place, but they both joined the first post-pandemic live tour in January 2022. In the summer of that year, they were spotted on holiday together in Crete and, as anyone who follows their Instagram accounts will know, they've been smitten with each other ever since. Maisie is also busy in her professional life, which has seen her pursuing a musical theatre career, even working alongside Max. Most recently, she appeared in Jeff Wayne's Musical Version Of The War Of The Worlds with Max, where they play married couple Parson Nathaniel and his wife Beth, after Maisie played Belle in a pantomime version of Beauty And The Beast in Canterbury. So, what's next on the horizon? 'I can't actually tell you what I'm working on right now – I'm not allowed,' says Maisie. 'But I'm still loving doing theatre and that's my main focus.' As for the soap that propelled her to fame, she may have come a long way since playing Tiffany Butcher, but she maintains she still calls Albert Square home. 'I always say with EastEnders, you never know,' she says. 'Never say never about me returning. I grew up there and it is my home, but right now I'm loving doing my theatre work.' Maisie may not be planning her grand return to the soap any time soon, but she did get the chance to catch up with some former co-stars as EastEnders bagged the Soap Of The Year gong at the ceremony. With stars such as Emma Barton in attendance, she says, 'It's been great catching up with people. That's why I love award shows and things like this – you see people you haven't seen in about 10 years.' Maisie says she's also used the opportunity to spend a girlie day with her mum, Julia, who is also her manager. 'I've brought my mum along today,' she says. 'I take her everywhere.' Kym Marsh to star in stage thriller at Bath's Theatre Royal

KYM Marsh is starring in the stage premiere of a reimagined 90s thriller. The former Coronation Street star will lead the cast of Single White Female during its UK tour, with the play running at Bath's Theatre Royal from May 19 to 23. The play is a modern adaptation of the 1992 film, written by Rebecca Reid. It tells the story of Allie, a recently divorced mother, who decides to advertise for a lodger to help make ends meet. The delightful Hedy offers her a lifeline, but as their lives intertwine, boundaries blur and a seemingly perfect arrangement begins to unravel. Ms Marsh said: "I remember being totally gripped by the movie when I first saw it in the cinema and could never have imagined back then that I'd be starring in the world premiere of its life on stage. "Get ready to be thrilled, shocked and entertained and watch out for those stiletto heels." Tickets available soon via the Theatre Royal Bath website.
