Minor injuries reported after motorcycle crashes into occupied Bellingham home
Bellingham Police say a car and a motorcycle collided just before 2 p.m. in the area of Center Street and Park Street.
The operator of the motorcycle, a 68-year-old man from Cumberland, Rhode Island, sustained minor injuries. He was transported to Milford Regional Medical Center for further evaluation.
According to investigators, the man fell from the motorcycle and it continued a significant distance, eventually crashing into the front door of 155 Center Street.
The home was occupied at the time but there were no reports of any injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. It's unclear if any charges will be filed.
The driver of the motor vehicle was uninjured, according to police.

'When I went to pick her up, you could tell that she was really hurt,' Higham recalled. 'The X-rays came through, and they said that she had a broken clavicle bone,' she continued. 'We were in the ER for five hours.' Higham told WJW-TV that as a result of the incident, her child no longer goes to that daycare facility, which has not been identified. Police launched an investigation into the incident that resulted in charges being filed against Stewart. Stewart pleaded not guilty, and her case was sent to the Lake County Grand Jury to determine if she would be indicted on those charges, per the outlet. Warren man charged with possessing child sexually abusive material
A 61-year-old Warren, Michigan, man is accused of possessing and sharing multiple images of child sexually abusive material, the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office said Friday. Michael Cristini is charged with three counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, three counts of possession of child sexually abusive material and six counts of using a computer to commit a crime, court records show. He was arraigned on Friday at the 37th District Court in Warren. The prosecutor's office alleges that Cristini possessed and shared the child sexually abusive material around May 6. His bond is set at $500,000 cash or surety, according to court records. If released, Cristini won't be able to use the internet or a computer, can't have weapons, drugs or alcohol and will be required to wear a GPS tether. "The charges brought today represent some of the most serious offenses under the law involving the exploitation of children," Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido said in a news release on Friday. A probable cause conference for Cristini is scheduled for Aug. 15, followed by a preliminary exam on Aug. 21.
