But Duffer's post made it clear that the leaked runtimes are not real.
The Stranger Things team has been careful not to spoil anything about the final season. After Netflix dropped the first teaser on July 16, Duffer reassured fans by saying, 'Don't worry about spoilers – this teaser pulls from every episode except 7, but it's mostly Volume One and just barely scratches the surface."
Season 5 will be released in three parts. The first part, which includes the first four episodes, arrives on Netflix on November 26. The second part, with three episodes, comes out on Christmas Day, and the finale will stream on December 31.
The final season promises a big showdown. According to the official summary, Hawkins is still suffering after the opening of the Rifts. Vecna is missing, the town is under military lockdown, and Eleven is forced to hide again. As the anniversary of Will's disappearance gets closer, the group must come together for one last battle against a powerful new threat.
