The 2025 Puerto Rico Open is being held at the Grand Reserve Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

The Puerto Rico Open is the first opposite-field event of 2025 and after 36 holes, about half of the 132-man field is packing their bags and heading home.
For those who couldn't qualify for the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the event in Puerto Rico offers golfers a chance at a payday, perhaps event a PGA Tour victory, at the Grand Reserve Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
Those in contention after 36 holes include tournament leader Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen (64-65), who had seven birdies in his bogey-free second round to get to 15 under.
Davis Riley (64-66) is solo second at 14 under, while Austin Cool is solo third at 13 under. Chris Gotterup, who almost didn't enter the event, is four shots back after a Friday 70 to get to 9 under.
In all, 78 golfers made the cut, which came in at 5 under.

Young is widely considered the best player to have never won on a main tour, a runner-up seven times since his rookie season in 2021.
