Hulk Hogan's estranged daughter Brooke fires back at mom who tearfully blamed wrestler for family rift
Addressing only the 'tip of a very large iceberg,' Brooke Hogan ripped both her parents for causing problems in her immediate family.
'I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood,' she alleged on Instagram Thursday night.
'Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes it's not by the person you would assume, abuse comes in all shapes and sizes. This vicious pattern has robbed me of any sense of self-esteem or confidence I've trained to pretend to have.'
The long-winded post came a day after her mother, Linda Hogan, broke down in tears and blamed her ex-husband as the reason their daughter severed contact with them.
In the now-viral video posted to her Instagram Stories Wednesday, the 65-year-old accused Hulk Hogan — whose real name is Terry Bollea — of being a 'liar' and 'sex addict' while missing out on her daughter's life.
'It's been 15 however long years since I left Hulk Hogan and my family is the worst mess,' Linda Hogan said. 'Brooke doesn't talk to us. She had twins, she got married [and] she didn't tell us.'
The 36-year-old married former Washington Capitals defenseman Steven Olesky in 2022, and the couple welcomed their son and daughter in January.
Brooke Hogan described her mother's behavior in the video as 'mild' compared to past antics she had to endure growing up in the famous household.
'That being said, she has been through A LOT of trauma and pain, my heart breaks for her. You can't control how others treat you, but you can control how you treat others and cope with things,' she said.
'Too many times I have ignored things said about me, and haven't spoken my truths, she added, saying she would be vague in her response.
Brooke Hogan said her decision to remain silent in the past affected her personal and professional careers to 'dodge the public negativity.'
She claimed to have separate reasons for 'going no contact' with her parents as the fight she had with her father was not the reason she no longer speaks with her mom.
'Not contact with my Mom has nothing to do with my Dad, and no contact with my Father has nothing to do with my Mother. This also pertains to my Dad's second and third, now current wife,' Brooke Hogan said.
'This decision was made based purely on how they have each dealt with me directly my entire life.'
In 2023, Brooke Hogan skipped her father's wedding as he married yoga instructor Sky Daily, citing 'difficult' changes in her life.
Brooke Hogan says she felt used by the people in her life as they made decisions that benefitted them over her.
'I've been ASKED to defend poor behavior to the public and have done so out of love. Only to find I was misinformed, manipulated, and lied to,' she wrote. 'Still to this day I face constant ridicule for those poor decisions of others. I've watched others benefit financially off my suffering and embarrassment caused by their selfish behavior.'
'While it caused my life to crumble, I continued to stay strong and resilient,' she added.
She said she had forgiven the 'massive blows' to her personal and professional life while being the target of poor behavior including lies, manipulation, being used as a pawn and being treated as stupid.
'No child or human should ever experience something like this.'

The Clipse Have Surprising Reaction To Justin Bieber Seemingly Shading Their New Album
Justin Bieber shook up the internet when he posted an Instagram story dissing Clipse after both acts released their new albums on the same day. The Virginia duo recently reacted to the supposed shade. 'I don't know if you clicking something, don't know if you reading it or not,' Malice said during their appearance on Big Boy's Neighborhood. 'I mean, people can be very specific if they want to be, but what does it mean to me? Nothing. We doing what we doing out here. The fans love it, you bringing the music back. Real hip-hop.' The 52-year-old resolved that he would give Bieber the 'benefit of the doubt.' Pusha T added that the Canadian singer likely didn't fully look at the post and was more focused on it being 'favorable' toward his album. 'We've all done it,' he said. Ultimately, the Let God Sort Em Out rappers were more focused on people's approval of their latest LP in comparison to a blockbuster release from the pop superstar. 'This is street hip-hop,' he stated. 'Look how far streethip-hop has [come]. Like look at what it's being measured up against.' Watch below. The 31-year-old surprised the world when he announced his new album SWAG would come out two weeks ago (Friday, July 11). Many people theorized that Def Jam was looking to overshadow their former artists' highly anticipated reunion album, and the assumed tension grew in fans' eyes when the 'Daisies' singer shared a particular Instagram story. Kerwin Frost tagged him in a post praising his new effort, writing, 'Justice is served @lilbieber emptied the clip. THIS IS THE ONLY ALBUM THAT MATTERS RIGHT NOW. This album is way better then the @clipse. @clipse is for bitter grown men who collect kaws dolls and shop at kith and union.' Biebs reposted the story, and many people did not recognize that it was a repost, causing more discourse on the internet. Nonetheless, Clipse are riding a wave of positivity as Let God Sort Em Out debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and sold 118,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. Bieber's SWAG debuted at No. 2 and sold 163,000 units. Listen to both albums below. More from What Are Clipse's First-Week Sales Projections For Their New LP 'Let God Sort Em Out'? Man Arrested on Accusation of Making Explosive Devices and Placing Them Around New York City - Including on a Subway Track
A Long Island man was arrested last month and charged in connection with attempting to blow up several homemade explosives around Manhattan, federal prosecutors announced this week. Authorities said Michael Gann was taken into custody after he had allegedly already placed one of the explosives on a subway track on the Williamsburg Bridge on June 5, 2025. According to the Justice Department, the 55-year-old man had placed the explosive on the tracks before placing five more explosive devices and a handful of shotgun shells on the rooftop of a residential building in the SoHo neighborhood. It's unclear how law enforcement became aware of Gann's alleged activity on June 5. A federal indictment included in the news release showed at least one security camera image of Gann holding a bag and appearing to walk on the rooftop where authorities allege he placed five of the explosives. About a month earlier, in May, the Justice Department alleges that Gann ordered about two pounds of potassium perchlorate and another pound of aluminum powder, along with more than 200 cardboard tubes and 50 feet worth of fuses. Using these items, Gann allegedly created at least seven explosive devices. The Justice Department alleges that in one of the devices Gann created, there was 'approximately 30 grams of explosive powder — approximately 600 times the legal limit for consumer fireworks.' When Gann was arrested, officers found a seventh explosive device on his person. He allegedly then falsely told police officers he had thrown the rest of the explosive devices away in a dumpster elsewhere in Manhattan. The suspect's internet history over the two months leading up to his arrest included at least a dozen searches about procuring a gun or the ingredients to make explosive devices, according to federal authorities. Authorities also allege that on the morning before he tossed the first explosive on the New York City subway track, Gann took to Instagram and cryptically wrote: 'Who wants me to go out to play like no tomorrow?' Gann has been charged with one count of attempted destruction of property with an explosive, which carries a mandatory minimum of five years in prison and a maximum of 20. He was also charged with transporting explosive materials, which carries a maximum of 10 years in prison, as well as a charge for unlawful possession of destructive devices, which also carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. 'The safety of New Yorkers is paramount,' U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton said in a statement, crediting 'swift work' by law enforcement to stop Gann before he could cause any damage. PEOPLE reached out to an attorney who is representing Gann but did not immediately receive a response on Wednesday. Read the original article on People
