Davante Adams is a top-10 WR in Madden 26, but Puka Nacua is not
The ratings gurus at EA Sports still view Adams as a star receiver because he has one of the highest overall ratings for a wideout in the game. Adams is a 90 overall in 'Madden NFL 26', which is the 10th-highest at his position, just behind Drake London (91).
EA only revealed the top 10 players at each position on Thursday and Puka Nacua's name was noticeably absent from the list of receivers. While we don't yet know his initial rating, he isn't one of the 10 best wideouts.
ESPN polled NFL executives, coaches and scouts from around the league this offseason and asked them to rank the top receivers for 2025. Nacua and Adams both fell outside the top 10, only earning recognition as honorable mentions.
It seems both players are on the fringe of being top-10 receivers in the eyes of personnel evaluators around the NFL, as well as EA Sports' ratings experts. Nacua probably doesn't get as much praise as he deserves because he was injured last season, but he was third in the NFL in receiving yards per game (90.0) and nearly eclipsed 1,000 yards despite only playing 11 games.
Adams is an established star at wide receiver but you could make the case that Nacua is in for a better season in 2025 if healthy. Whatever his initial Madden rating is, it should be on the rise throughout the year.

Seneca Nation purchases Rochester Knighthawks lacrosse franchise
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — The Seneca Nation has purchased the National Lacrosse League's Rochester Knighthawks, replacing Buffalo Bills and Sabres owners Terry and Kim Pegula. The Seneca Nation, a sovereign Native American nation, has roots in western New York, where Rochester is located. The Knighthawks made the announcement on Tuesday. 'Our ancestors were the first people to share the game of lacrosse with the world," Seneca Nation President J. Conrad Seneca said. "It was gifted to them by the Creator as a spiritual game and a game of healing. The Seneca Nation is thrilled to celebrate our connection to the Creator's Game and to this community by keeping the Knighthawks in Rochester, where we look forward to building a bright future rooted in the team's winning tradition.' Terry Pegula helped the team find new ownership. The Pegulas chose to sell the Knighthawks in June to focus on the other NLL team the family owns, the three-time defending champion Buffalo Bandits. The Knighthawks are coming off a third straight trip to the National Lacrosse League Playoffs after winning a franchise record-tying 10 games. Forward Connor Fields became first player in team history to win the NLL's Most Valuable Player Award. NFL training camp 2025 news, live updates: Justin Fields, Jets offense struggling to get up to speed so far

The New York Jets are hoping to be one of the NFL's most interesting offenses with Justin Fields under center, and there's still plenty of time to make that happen. Recent returns at training camp, however, haven't been strong. At practice Tuesday, a promising drive in 11-on-11s ended with a Fields interception, per SNYTV's Connor Hughes. That followed some struggles in 7-on-7s for Fields, and his total numbers the last three practices before Tuesday were reportedly 8 of 32 with an interception. Fields is in his first season under head coach Aaron Glenn and offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand. That said, the Jets are counting on Fields to help move the franchise in the right direction starting this season. While he'll likely never be confused with a pure passer, those numbers need to improve for the Jets' offense to be effective. Top NFL training camp stories Browns release first depth chart: The Cleveland Browns released their first depth chart of the preseason Monday, and the quarterback order is as expected. New York Jets 2025 NFL training camp is well underway and will be watched under a microscope each and every day. Throughout practices, updates are shared during the workouts which make for intriguing and important notes. In terms of Day 10 of training camp, what stood out the most? Here are three observations from the 10th day of Jets training camp: Back-to-back bad days from Fields The Jets offense has only had one day of training camp practices considered as a "good" outing through 10 workouts. The last two certainly were not that. Many reports indicated a few very, very poor sessions from quarterback Justin Fields specifically. On the plus side Breece Hall at least made a few players, according to reports. At least one we have a visual of. On one catch, it wasn't exactly a full diving effort, but Hall went all out to make the grab: Defense playing well While Fields and the offense have struggled, it might have been for good reason. The Jets defense had another top outing on Monday. Cornerbacks Sauce Gardner and Brandon Stephens are earning praise.
