BBC chiefs have blood on their hands, says family of man murdered at Nova music festival by Hamas terrorists in October 7 massacre
The family of a young man murdered by Hamas terrorists in the October 7 massacre has accused the BBC of having 'blood on its hands'.
Yoram Yehudaj, who lost his 24-year-old son Ron when the Nova music festival was attacked, said the broadcaster should be 'ashamed' for televising a Glastonbury punk act chanting about the death of Israeli soldiers.
Bob Vylan's performance caused outrage as its singer shouted 'death, death to the IDF' on Saturday.
Relatives of the 364 festival-goers killed on October 7, 2023, said calling for the death of members of the Israeli Defence Forces was Hamas propaganda.
Mr Yehudaj said last night: 'I am a bereaved father who lost his son at the Nova festival. Hamas terrorists raped, murdered, burned and kidnapped our children.
'And yet, the BBC gives a platform to Hamas propaganda. This is unacceptable. They have blood on their hands.
'Bob Vylan's performance was disgusting and the BBC should be ashamed for running it. The BBC did not stop the broadcast, this deserves condemnation.'
Ron was murdered during the biggest attack on Jewish people since the Holocaust.
He was shot dead with eight others after hiding from the terrorists in a rubbish dumpster.
'My son was innocent, he just went to a festival just like Glastonbury. Palestinian terrorists wouldn't hesitate twice to kill everyone there either,' Mr Yehudaj added
'I call on the BBC and UK authorities to investigate this incident, issue a public apology, and ensure such incitement is never again normalised in the name of 'art' or 'freedom of speech'.'
Mr Yehudaj said he had been in constant communication with his son on the day he died.
In an emotional interview, he recalled Ron telling him he was 'okay' and showing more concern for his parents than himself.
By tracking the messages they shared, he knows that his son died at exactly 11.47am.'
Mr Yehudaj was too distressed to tell his wife what had happened. Seven days later, the Israeli authorities told the family that Ron had died.
In an effort to protect his wife from further anguish, Mr Yehudaj refused to let her identify the body, which he and Ron's brother did by looking at his tattoos.
'I didn't tell my wife Sigal all night what I had heard. I kept it in. I wanted to protect her but I refused to believe my son was dead,' he said.
'I wanted to believe that maybe he's alive and he's kidnapped, but now we know we lost Ron at 11.47am. His last text to me was that he loved us. I didn't know where they shot him. I didn't know what the condition was so I decided that I will not let Sigal go to identify him.
'I asked my son and just to recognise him by tattoos. That is how we identified his body – by his tattoos. I think it was a mistake to make for my older son as it was very difficult for him.'

EastEnders fans slam jarring BBC couple who were not a match
Zack Hudson and Whitney Dean were a prominent couple on the show who planned to get married before Whitney discovered her partner's unfaithfulness. Things famously came to a head at their wedding ceremony when Britney revealed Zack had cheated on Whitney. A furious Whitney then attacked Lauren and Zack before storming out of the registry office, according to Digital Spy. Taking on the EastEnders official Reddit page, the original poster asked: "Did anyone actually like Zack and Whitney being together?" Fans of the BBC soap opera were quick to express their dislike of the relationship, with one user writing: "Always jarred a bit for me - the storylines about Peach, the fostering, Britney etc were good, but as a couple they felt a bit flung together. Which was probably the point IDK." Another agreed, penning: "Yeah, I felt the same. I wasn't keen on them as a couple (despite them both producing some good work together) and felt they weren't a match, either personality or chemistry-wise. "But this was by design and what they wanted to portray (given that Shona has known she was going for most - if not all - of that time)." One user said: "I did feel like their relationship came out of nowhere. I don't remember them interacting at all, and then she suddenly had a crush on him. "I didn't really like Zack until the Peach storyline, I think he supported her as best he could, and he seemed like he genuinely cared about her. "I think if Shona hadn't wanted to leave, they would have stayed together. They seemed like a solid couple before the Britney stuff, and I thought they were good together." Another fan added: "No, because I was annoyed that they didn't pair Zack and Sam together. All that build up and nothing, what a waste of time that was." Another echoed this dislike, writing: "Never. Zack was a playboy, and Whitney was a hypocrite with Lauren after she got with Joey while she was in rehab. "The dig at her being an addict just before her and Zack got together was uncalled for, too." However, one fan went against the grain, telling the OP: "Yes, I liked them together and was annoyed when he cheated with Lauren. "I'm hoping they don't put him and Lauren together. I don't know why, but I feel he could get with Zoe when she returns to the square"

Would you wear this to a wedding? Bethenny Frankel admits she broke golden rule at BFF's nuptials
Bethenny Frankel has admitted to breaking a cardinal rule of wedding day fashion. The RHONY alum 'just realized' she wore white to her best friend's wedding 30 years ago. A mortified Frankel said her memory was jogged thanks to the controversy surrounding Kylie Jenner, who attended Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos ' wedding in a silver and blue dress that looked white in certain lighting. Bethenny admitted she was unaware of the rule at the time she purchased the dress, as she was scrambling to find an outfit after losing her luggage. Fortunately, her friend was clearly no upset by Bethenny's unfortunate fashion faux pas, and even stood up for her friend in the comments section. 'As the bride, I must add that Bethenny's luggage never arrived, so she had to hunt for a black tie outfit the day of the wedding (in Marbella, no less, which had very few fashion stores at the time). Needless to say in true B 'fashion' she managed to find the most iconic dress and made quite an indelible impression on many men that evening... I was just happy she didn't show up naked!!! :-))'
