Maura Higgins reveals dramatic new look as she attends the star-studded F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone
The Love Island legend looked strikingly different as she ditched her usual long brunette tresses revealing her new edgy short hair do to her four million followers.
She beamed for a selfie as she revealed she was actually wearing a wig as she headed to the race with hair brand,TRESemmé, which saw McLaren driver Lando Norris claim his first-ever home win.
Maura teamed the new hairstyle with a branded TRESemmé black cropped bomber jacket which she wore with leather trousers.
The TV personality shared a second snap in black and white as she overlooked the track at the Silverstone circuit while holding a racing helmet.
She wrote: 'Back on the grid'.
On Saturday, Maura also attended the Formula One to watch the qualifying as she posed for photos in the star-studded paddock.
She cut a dramatic figure in a black leather minidress which boasted a daring cut out down the side.
Maura turned heads as she went braless under the number as she sipped on a Peach Celsius before enjoying a wine and pasta in hospitality.
This is not the first time, Maura has experimented with wigs as for Coachella this year she donned a bold dark red fringed wig.
Also at the American festival, t he model opted for a long straight blonde wig as she striped off in a daring western themed look.
After a tensely-fought, and rain-soaked race, Lando Norris landed his first ever home podium to win the British Grand Prix, beating his dominant team-mate Oscar Piastri.
It was a chance the faultless Norris claimed, winning his home race for the first time in front of a 160,000-strong crowd that had painted their affections for him in the orange of McLaren that was the dominant colour in the stands, at least underneath the ponchos.
It was the Bristolian's fourth victory of the season and put him just eight points of Piastri, who finished runner-up, at the world championship summit.

'Beautiful,' said Norris, his voice thin, putting triumph in the Midlands ahead even of his delight in Monaco in May.
Elsewhere, Lewis Hamilton had a day of nearly doing it, but not quite, finishing in fourth place.
The British Grand Prix also included a star studded line-up for this years concert which included headlining sets from Raye, Becky Hill, Jade and Sam Fender.
Raye put on an incredible performance on Friday with Hamilton watching from the side of stage, amid romance rumours between the pair.
As speculation continues to swirl around their relationship, the racing driver, 40, did nothing to quell the gossip as he happily danced along while the singer, 27, entertained the crowds.
Raye looked sensational in a figure-hugging red leather gown, with Lewis barely able to take his eyes off her as he enjoyed the show.
The sportsman attempted to keep a low profile as the gig as he stood back in the shadows behind Raye's supporters at the side of the stage.
A source exclusively told MailOnline of Lewis' appearance: 'He literally didn't leave side of stage the entire time and he was in Raye's personal side and was loving it.
'I was very shocked how long he stayed, he was clearly trying to show he's committed.'

Meanwhile Sam Fender put on a show-stopping set as he took to the stage on Thursday opening the weekend.
The line-up was announced on the February 20, and on this day viagogo saw a 70% increase in fans searching for F1 tickets compared to the week prior.
Raye, who won an impressive seven Brit Awards last year, has been growing strength to strength and on the viagogo website experienced an 845% rise in ticket searches the week after her monumental wins.
Meanwhile Sam Fender has been one of the most sought after tickets for 2025 as shown by search data on the viagogo platform. The month prior to his most recent St James Park headline show on the June 15 saw enough fans were looking for tickets to fill the stadium almost 2.5 times over.
Other than Edinburgh and Belfast in August, Silverstone will be the last announced performance to catch Sam this year, showing that F1 has secured one of the hottest acts in the UK.
Elsewhere Becky Hill closed the weekend opening the British Grand Prix by singing the National Anthem followed by taking to the stage in the evening.
The songstress has become more and more popular and last year her combined ticket searches on viagogo could have almost filled Wembley Stadium three times over.
However it's not just Silverstone UK F1 fans are travelling to as many are now jetting around the globe having currently purchased tickets to 23 out of the 24 international GP's via the viagogo platform, who have partnered with BWT Alpine Formula One Team.
And following the Drive to Survive Season 7 launch on March 7, viagogo saw an 87% increase in fans searching for F1 tickets that week compared to the week before.

‘I met my best friend': two students on the many benefits of joining university clubs
There are few times in life better suited to trying new things than your student years. In fact, many people would say that's the whole point of going to university. Higher education is about more than just the subject you study – it's a time to meet new people, step outside of your comfort zone and discover new things about yourself. And one of the best ways to do that is by joining student clubs and societies. Now in the third year of his philosophy degree at the University of Lincoln, Thomas Woodcock is a member of no less than seven student societies – ranging from archery to animal sciences, the book club to bellringing, and Kin-Ball to philosophy. The 22-year-old's choice of societies perfectly illustrates the huge range of clubs on offer at universities – whether you're looking to keep fit, learn or maintain skills, dive deeper into your degree subject or simply socialise, there will almost definitely be something that ticks the box. While many of Woodcock's activities are new to him, the hobby that's proved most meaningful is one he's had since childhood, and has continued at university. 'I joined Lincoln University Guides and Scouts (Lugs) at the start of my first year, having been Scouting since I was six years old,' he says. 'Although it's a relatively small society, the community I have because of Lugs has really contributed to my enjoyment of uni. Many of the friends I have made are from Lugs, and I don't know what my experience would have been like if hadn't joined, but I do believe I would have been worse off – that's how important this society, the community, and the people within it have been to me and my student experience.' It's a sentiment that 19-year-old Maya Mathiou-Rose, now in the second year of her psychology degree at the University of York, can relate to. Unlike Woodcock, Mathiou-Rose has channelled her time and energy into just one passion – volleyball – but she has also found that the impact on her university experience has extended far beyond the court. 'Joining any society allows you to find like-minded people and form lifelong connections,' she says. 'I can personally attest to this – having met my best friend, Aurelie, during the team tryouts in first year, we've been inseparable ever since. I also met my three current housemates through the University of York volleyball club (UYVC) and the James College volleyball club. Playing volleyball has not only brought us together, but also strengthened the bond between us.' Woodcock and Mathiou-Rose are far from alone in feeling that their university experience has been enhanced by joining a club or society. A study released by British University and College Sports (BUCS) in May 2025, covering the previous year, found that almost 94% of students agreed that being involved in sport gave them a sense of belonging to their institution and its community. Another recent study, conducted by the University of Lincoln students' union, found that students who were members of a society (of 17,414 students, 4,351 were involved in an activity) were more likely to complete their studies. 'Of the 1,774 who have withdrawn this year, only 86 (5%) were activity members,' reads the report. 'This means that just 2% of activity members withdrew, compared to 10% of non-activity members, highlighting that students involved in sports or societies are five times more likely to continue their studies than those who are not activity members.' Joining a society (or seven) isn't just a great way to enrich your university experience, it can also positively affect your life post-graduation. Extracurricular activities don't only look great on your CV – adding depth and breadth to your life experience – they're also a great way to learn new skills and build your confidence. This is especially true if, like Woodcock and Mathiou-Rose, you go one step further and take on a leadership role. 'As the secretary of the UYVC I've developed key skills which are directly relevant to the career I want to pursue in human resources,' says Mathiou-Rose. 'It's given me real, tangible experiences to reflect on in interviews, like managing stakeholder relationships, handling logistics under pressure, and maintaining clear and professional communication.' As for their advice for the next generation of students about to embark on their own higher education journeys, Woodcock says: 'Go to the sports and societies fairs during freshers' week and talk to the committees and members. Register your interest in those that sound good, and go to the taster sessions. I promise you it will be worth it. The communities and support I have built have massively helped me over the last three years – I can't recommend joining a society more.' Mathiou-Rose recommends not just joining societies, but getting involved in their structure and management. 'It's through this deeper engagement that you gain experiences and lessons that you'll cherish for a lifetime.' But after a lavish ceremony at St Paul's Cathedral, including a horse and carriage, she took pals and family to a bar at The Shard skyscraper for a bash which many expected to rage well into the early hours. The wedding party arrived at the reception at 4.30pm, however most of Mel's guests had headed for home by 7pm, with many having already changed into casual clothing following just over two hours of socialising.
