Cops called as Denise Richards shows up at ex's home amid restraining order
The cops were called on Denise Richards Sunday when the reality star allegedly showed up at the home of her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, despite a restraining order the reality star has taken out amid their divorce battle. A divorce lawyer for the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum, 54, told TMZ that Richards only arrived at the Calabasas home Sunday 'after confirming that Mr. Phypers was not present,' and did so 'to retrieve her dogs after learning that Mr. Phypers had put down one of her other dogs without her knowledge or permission.' Phypers, who denies Richards' recent claims of longstanding physical abuse, told the outlet that everything the 'Wild Things' star claimed was 'absolutely false. 'Denise's actions are willfully intentional in the slander and destruction of what is left of a family,' continued the 52-year-old 'frequency medicine' practitioner. 'This is after Denise chose to carry on an adulterous affair — after being caught not once, not twice, but three times.' Photos published by the outlet show the OnlyFans star speaking to a trio of deputies outside the home, which is owned by Phypers, his parents and brother. One image shows Phypers speaking to one of the officers, while another shows him hugging his elderly mother. Phypers, who wed Richards in 2018, filed for divorce July 7, three days after he said they separated. Richards has claimed he 'would frequently violently choke' her and subject her to other forms of physical abuse, including leaving her with a black eye in 2022. She was granted a restraining order against Phypers, which lasts until their scheduled court appearance on Aug. 8, and orders him to stay 100 yards from Richards, her home, car and place of business. Richards last week accused Phypers of disseminating her texts and illegally leaking her nude photos. 'Mr. Phypers has continued to harass Ms. Richards since being served with the Temporary Restraining Order by, among other things, disseminating private information from Ms. Richards' cell phone and laptop, which he stole,' her lawyer alleged in a statement to multiple outlets in late July. 'These actions continue to disturb Ms. Richards' peace. … Ms. Richards will not be responding to Mr. Phypers' false allegations in a public forum and will be addressing Mr. Phypers' abuse in Court.'

‘Real Housewives' Star Wonders If Stage 4 Cancer Was 'Payback' For Her Rumored Affair
Teddi Mellencamp opened up for the first time about a rumored affair with her horse trainer ― and how it affected her family and her health. The former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' cast mate spoke about her alleged infidelity during an appearance on 'The Jamie Kern Lima Show.' 'I've never talked about it at all ― just because of the kids,' Mellencamp said during the interview, which was released Tuesday. Mellencamp, who was married at the time, shares three children with her now-ex-husband, Edwin Arroyave. 'And I've never wanted anybody to have a, you know, a guarantee whether it happened or didn't happen,' the reality star said. 'But what I can say is: Did I do things that hurt other people? Yes.' 'To this day, does it still hurt my heart and I wonder if that's why I got cancer?' Mellencamp said, as she began to cry. 'Yes. Like it was my payback.' Mellencamp, who is the daughter of famous singer John Cougar Mellencamp, was diagnosed with melanoma in 2022. She recently shared that her cancer had progressed to Stage 4, as her melanoma metastasized to her lungs and brain. 'Nothing goes without payment, I guess,' she said, adding that she was 'so broken as a human being during that part of my life that I did things out of my better judgment.' During the vulnerable interview, Mellencamp also spoke about her ex-husband's infidelity, which came to light just before she and her family starred on 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.' The podcaster said her husband was unfaithful with someone that she knew and that she had to 'beg Edwin to wanna stay with me.' 'I don't think he was in love with me at that point. I think we've gone through times in our marriage where we've been madly in love with each other, but that wasn't one of those times,' she said. 'And there was a while that I thought maybe I'll leave, and then it got better.' Mellencamp filed for divorce from Arroyave in November 2024 and announced the news on Instagram. 'After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,' she said at the time. 'My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.' The former couple share three children together: Slate, 12; Cruz, 10; and Dove, 5. Related... Netflix's AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER Star Says Seasons 2 and 3 Will Feel 'Very Different' — GeekTyrant
Netflix's live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender is expanding its universe in a big way. With Seasons 2 and 3 currently in production, the show is evolving, and according to star Daniel Dae Kim, fans should expect something very different from what they saw in Season 1. Kim, who plays Fire Lord Ozai, recently spoke with Collider and teased just how much things are shifting behind the scenes. 'We're in the first block of Season 3, and what I can say about the show is that each season grows in scale. If you thought Season 1 was big, wait till you see Season 3, because there is a change in the way we are shooting Seasons 2 and 3 that will make the show very different.' The back-to-back production schedule reflects how seriously Netflix is taking this adaptation. After a solid response to Season 1, the streamer greenlit two more seasons to complete the story arc. Now the creative team is pushing things further, visually and narratively. But it's not just the technical scope that's changing. Kim also spoke about the young cast, saying how rewarding it's been to witness their growth over the course of production. 'What's been really cool about being part of the cast is watching these young actors grow from Episode 1 to now. What they've learned in terms of their technique and what they've learned about who they are has been really nice to watch. 'You hear so many stories about young actors being changed in a negative way by this business. But there's something about the environment of that show where I really feel like these young actors are being nurtured, and I really can't wait to see what they do, not just for Seasons 2 and 3 of our show, but beyond in their careers.' Season 2 will introduce a wave of new characters as the story enters some of the series' most iconic arcs. Miya Cech joins the cast as Toph Beifong, alongside Chin Han as Long Feng, Justin Chien as King Kuei, Amanda Zhou as Joo Dee, Crystal Yu as Lady Beifong, and Kelemete Mispeka as The Boulder. The roster also includes Hoa Xuande as Professor Zei, Lourdes Faberes as General Sung, Rekha Sharma as Amita, Madison Hu as Fei, Dichen Lachman as Yangchen, Dolly De Leon as Lo and Li, Lily Gao as Ura, Terry Chen as Jeong Jeong, Jon Jon Briones as Piandao, and Tantoo Cardinal as Hama. Returning from Season 1 are Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, Dallas Liu as Zuko, Elizabeth Yu as Azula, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Iroh, and Daniel Dae Kim as Ozai. While Netflix has yet to reveal an official release date for the new seasons, the fact that Season 3 is already filming suggests they're aiming to keep momentum going. I personally wasn't a fan of the first season, so it will be great to see how the storytelling has improved with the next two seasons.
