‘Bonkers!': Ginnifer Goodwin Reflects on Once Upon a Time Musical Episode Anniversary — WATCH
When I most unexpectedly reunited with the age-defying Ginnifer Goodwin on the Disney Upfront's blue carpet earlier this month, I had recently gotten a Facebook 'memory' about the Once Upon a Time musical episode, which aired eight years prior (and for which I was on-set, in March 2017).
So after talking a bit about her voice acting encore as police rabbit Judy Hopps in Disney's Zootopia 2 (due in theaters Nov. 26!), I had to invite Ginny to reflect on OUAT's 'The Song in Your Heart,' which aired May 7, 2017, saw her duet with husband Josh Dallas' Charming, and teed up that season's two-part finale.

'That's bonkers!' is Goodwin's knee-jerk reaction to the eight-years-ago milestone, as seen in the video below. For one, she had a nine-year-old at her hip (her and Dallas' second-born child, Hugo). Plus, 'I was terrified' about singing on-camera, she admits. 'It was a big deal for me to not go running.'
We then give props to Dallas' own pipes, which were put to good use in the musical episode's opening number, 'Powerful Magic.'
For 'The Song in Your Heart,' OUAT creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis enlisted songwriters Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner to hash out the grand plan, which led to seven original tunes being penned: 'Powerful Magic,' 'Love Doesn't Stand a Chance' (led by Lana Parrilla), 'Revenge Is Gonna Be Mine' (led by Colin O'Donoghue), 'Wicked Always Wins' (Rebecca Mader), 'Charmings vs. Evil Queen' (Goodwin, Dallas and Parrilla), 'Emma's Theme' (Jennifer Morrison), and the #CaptainSwan wedding song 'A Happy Beginning' (ft. Morrison, O'Donoghue, Goodwin, Dallas, Parrilla, Mader and kinda-sorta Jared Gilmore).
'I said that in theory I was keen' on doing a musical episode, Goodwin told me on-set back in 2017, 'but the truth is when it became a reality I grew terrified, and asked if I could be a doo-wop girl in the background. Jazz hands and all!'

Paige Bueckers shares ‘surreal' moment with Kyrie Irving during her historic Wings game
Paige Bueckers achieved what many athletes have likely dreamed of: putting up historic numbers in front of your favorite player of all-time. Not only did the Wing star get that despite the 94-86 loss to the Fever, she also shared a mid-game moment with idol and fellow Dallas celebrity Kyrie Irving on Friday. Bueckers seemingly didn't have time to catch up with the nine-time All-Star prior to the game, but she dapped up Irving — who attended with his daughter — during the game. Advertisement It was her first time meeting Irving. The interaction sent American Airlines Center — home of the Mavericks — and the basketball world into a frenzy. 3 Paige Bueckers finds time to shake Kyrie Irving's hand mid-game against the Fever on June 27. Advertisement 'It was pretty surreal that somebody I've looked up to and has been my favorite player since I was really really young,' Bueckers told reporters after the game. 'So for him to come out an support us and support women's basketball and have his daughter there and get to meet him. He's been like a big brother figure for me, and to finally meet him in person, it was a great moment.' Bueckers walked away from the game with 27 points, six assists, two steals, and two blocks across 36 minutes. She shot 9-of-18 from the field, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc, and was perfect (7-of-7) from the free throw line. Advertisement The performance, per Polymarket Hoops, made her the first player in WNBA history to record a game with at least 25 points, five assists, two steals, two blocks, and zero turnovers. Throughout the night, Irving was loving Bueckers' performance, especially in the fourth quarter as the Wings closed in on the Fever's lead. 3 Paige Bueckers #5 of the Dallas Wings speaks with Dallas Mavericks player Kyrie Irving following a game against the Indiana Fever at American Airlines Center on June 27, 2025 in Dallas, Texas. The former UConn star also took pictures with Irving's daughter as well as Cade Cunningham's daughter. 3 Dallas Mavericks point guard Kyrie Irving talks with Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers (5) after the game against the Indiana Fever at the American Airlines Center. IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect Irving also received a jersey from Bueckers, who admitted she's trying to be just as 'unguardable' as the 2016 NBA champion. 'I want to be as unguardable as possible,' she said. 'And I feel like Kyrie is one of the most unguardable people to ever play the game. That starts with scoring at all three levels. So, adapting [to] the mid-range game was super essential for me and my game, and also being able to get to the rim and shooting from behind the 3-point line. So I guess just looking to be a three-level scorer.'

Disney price target raised to $140 from $120 at Guggenheim
Guggenheim raised the firm's price target on Disney (DIS) to $140 from $120 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The firm, which updated its Disney model to better reflect a refined operating expense outlook at Linear Networks, modestly lower theatrical revenue from relative underperformance of recent films, better than previously forecast Sports advertising revenue and 'relatively resilient' attendance and travel trends in the Experiences segment, notes that it lifted its full year segment operating income forecast to $17.7B from $17.6B, which is 'modestly ahead' of consensus $17.65B. With Hulu now fully under Disney control, the firm views the company as 'well positioned to pursue a unified direct-to-consumer strategy' and further lean into bundle packaging to drive incremental revenue, the analyst added. LIV Golf expands access to the sport through Dallas youth initiative
LIV Golf is taking its global tour to the South, bringing back big names and team competition. However, this weekend in Dallas, the focus is about more than the game itself. While big names like Bryson DeChambeau may grab headlines, the league tells FOX they're just as invested in who's getting a chance to belong in the sport. Through LIV Golf's Potential, Unleashed, students stretched out across the DFW area took part in a day of inspiration and fun through the league's working partnerships with local school districts and charities. The idea behind it all? To increase opportunities for education, employment and training young athletes in the game of golf. "It's allowing them to bring diversity to the game, to teach the game to communities that may not have had the opportunity to do that… But also to show the world that it's not just about a sport and somebody being a winner…but there are a lot of life lessons to be involved when you're playing golf or learning something new," explained Tracey Hardwick, Executive Director of Together We Thrive. On Wednesday, the kids also took part in golf lessons from the pros themselves, opening doors to the leaderboard. "I think trying to break some of those barriers and get golf to… everyone is really important… Not only for the growth of the game, but for…this community here to have a sport, that they can go play and learn," said Cameron Tringale, a LIV Golf player with HyFlyers GC. However, when it comes to the tournament, LIV Golf and FOX Sports Broadcaster Jerry Foltz says the energy is different. "It's easy to say this is not your grandfather's golf tournament … There's world-class golf at the highest level … But there's a relaxed atmosphere for the fans who are here," Foltz said. That culture all shows up in the merch – specially catered to match the location of each individual tournament, while highlighting the unique layers to team play. "You know it's a team following, but it also has a player following, and it's a design following," said Senior Retail Operations Manager with LIV Golf, Andre Williams. But it's not just about what fans wear, it's who they're here to see, and the people who keep the game sharp – like Ben Giunta, otherwise known as the club doctor. A degree or two off? Giunta makes it right and is ready for the game. "A player comes in with some uncertainty. They walk out with a little bit more confidence in what they're actually using so they can go out and perform," Giunta explained.
